App doesn’t work

WillowWealth is NOT working!
First, it got me really panic after I transferred online $10k to my account, nothing showed up until my bank had to work with them for over a week; secondly, it seems no way to get into any good offerings, so failed the purpose of investing your money; thirdly, when I tried to close my account and transfer my balance back to my bank, nothing happened after several attempts. You should not launch WillowWealth if this is the way that you handle people’s investments. 👎(by the way, I still haveNOT received my money as of yet!)
My advise is do NOT use WillowWealth!!!

Referral quarterly pay

I would recommend WillowWealth 5 stars for investing but for there referral program is horrible! I never received pay from last quarter or this quarter! I showed proof my profile was set up 100 percent plus confirming micro deposit for my bank as so of most ppl I had referred and haven’t received anything ! At this point it sad to say I have to take action and file a complaint with the better business bureau to have someone to contact me and post what I’m owed! Referrals pay from different app is how I make a living for rent and yes I’m very upset about it and it’s not fair

Will never be trusting my money with Yield Street

Easy to use interface. Simple to understand. But the only thing (and the thing that matters the most) is that I withdrew some money and never received it into my bank account. Literally been about 3 weeks now and no sight of my cash. I reached out to the support team but have received no word back. Will never be involving my money with them. I can’t trust a company that can’t simply return an email let alone my own money.

Too many defaults on platform

The % of defaults are too high , they don’t refund even the fees. The upfront risk disclosure makes it seem like a safe investment with multiple options in case of default. However when the actual default happens there are very limited choices and you loose entire investments. If you loose 1 out of 10 investments to default all your returns are wiped out. If you loose 2 out of 10 you make significant losses. My experience is 3 out of 10 defaults on average.

Don’t invest in this unless you want to lose money

Invest in this if you want to lose money. Not a single investment I have in my entire portfolio loses money while making money. There’s a paid dividend, but after 2 years my account is more then 10% lower! Pretty sure this is a scam. App is garbage. Asked to get my money back a few times and was given excuses. Don’t invest in this.
Update
Got my distribution back and over the course of 2 years I’ve lost over 60% invested. I will be filing claims with FTC expecting a civil suit in the near term

Updated review….still broken and no support or help

I emailed support based on my last review and did not get any reply. It’s great that they read these reviews, maybe some time should be spent on actual customer issues. My main problem is I set up a recurring transfer to increase my position in the Yieldstreet prism fund. The money just sits in the wallet I in invested and there is no mechanism in WillowWealth or the website to manually invest either but it should be automated. Nothing is happening and I get zero response when I emailed the support. So for now I will just keep my minor position and invest my money on other platforms that function and have responsive customer service

Getting trapped in their mistake

I had signed up for WillowWealth and followed what seemed to be a really simple process; putting in your information, validating that information and then linking a bank account and transferring money. Little did I know that I had just entered the biggest bug WillowWealth has, APPARENTLY in that work flow before I linked a bank account and transferred money there was one last validation step. I was apparently supposed to receive an e mail to submit paperwork to valid my investor status (even when this happened the “link” didn’t even take me to an active page it just endlessly loaded) so because none of this happened my money was now stuck in limbo because I technically couldn’t keep it in WillowWealth because I wasn’t a “valid” investor, AND I had closed the original linked accountant. Additionally Yieldstreet wouldn’t let me add another new account to transfer the money out of WillowWealth even though you can add a max of three linked accounts. Needless to say they clearly have a lot of bugs to workout, and I’m still trying to get a solution.

K1 Forms Delayed last year and likely this year

I have invested with YS for the paint 2-3 years and while the platform is easy to use, the experience getting information on K-1 investments is pathetic.

They are not able to provide any real information to help navigate which state to file the taxes in for K1 as well as for their Asia debt, which country or countries.

This Will be reported to CA FTB and IRS as not having this information does not allow us to file proper returns and exposes us to tax penalties.

Nonexistent or Unresponsive CSRs

I suspect the positive reviews are fake. I deposited a small amount in my account as I do with all financial institutions to test them out before I invest. There were no “investment opportunities” available. They won’t let me withdraw my money. Their customer service representatives are nonexistent. I challenge you to try to speak with or try to get any response from them before “investing.” They’re unreachable. My money is stuck earning 2.2APY which I’ll probably never see. I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 so you’ll read this and beware. Run from this don’t walk. If you want to invest you’d have better luck with that friend of yours with the “amazing business opportunity.” DON’T WALK! RUN!!!

Great platform, lacks potential for growing investor

I absolutely love this platform and think it’s necessary for the world and if given the chance, would love to invite one of its leaders to be interviewed on my own podcast so that I can spread awareness about the positives of this platform and what they can do. My desire and what’s missing, to me, are the smaller investments that allow one to “grow into” an accredited investor overtime which can happen over time as profits/gains are made. I currently invest in the prism fund and saving a percentage of my business earning so that I can invest the $5K into its real estate fund in the next couple of months (tax season). Additionally, over the years I desire to invest more and more into things like the prism fund and then graduate to much larger assets classes. As my net worth grows overtime i, and I feel many others, can be able to grow into an accredited investor and take part in the larger deals. By this I feel Yieldstreet has not only taken advantage of its current demographic of wealthy individuals but can also secur it’s “future” investors aswell by allowing early entry.

Investments seem fine but app/site has issues

So the basis of WillowWealth is to provide an alternative investment opportunity, which is does. Rates vs risk appear to be reasonable so all good there. The biggest issue I have is the constant errors WillowWealth /site make. Whether it’s stating incorrect interest paid, fees deducted, or most recently WillowWealth showed $15,000 disappearing from my account. Customer service takes a number of days to respond but eventually do. Assuming I get my $15,000 back, the three stars will stick for now. Hopefully they improve the tech as you just don’t see these types of errors on more traditional retail sites/apps like Schwab, Fidelity or even other crowdsourcing sites.

Service

Great company, however they have zero customer service. They NEVER answer their telephone. It’s an email based communication company only. I’ve tried calling them no less than 50 times at all hours. The typical return email is about 48 hours! Complaints fall on deaf ears. I letter sent to the CEO was never answered. The opportunities are good for divesting your asserts.

They have several plaintiffs for deceptive offerings. They are being sued in NY snd in Federal Court. They claim to have never lost an investors money.. if that is the case why are they being sued?

Good easy way to earn interest

I like tying in my brokerage account to earn some interest. Easy to move money between accounts. I wish I could setup a “bond ladder” type of investment. I am doing it myself but it seems that there could be a better way. I would also like to automate my investments every two weeks to further automate my investments.

Notification issues, otherwise great.

For months I haven’t been able to clear a ‘ghost’ notification on WillowWealth so it sticks out like a sore thumb on my phone, i have tried to reinstall WillowWealth but it shows again as soon as i login, any help figuring out what’s going on would be greatly appreciated.

Otherwise WillowWealth is great.

Simple and Effective

Litigation financing is hard to find. Quality product placement for litigation finance even harder.

YieldStreet makes it simple and easy to find better yields for this area of investment.

Please with the organization and the tech by which they offer their products.

So far so good.

I have been investing with YIELDSTREET for just over two years. I have invested in 25 different investments and so far I made a good profit on ten that natured, making returns on others that are still performing, and waiting on some long term to mature and make a 16-18% profit. Twice I got a phone call from the president asking me how I was doing with the company and my agent calls me every week to give me advice and check on me. No conplaints here and I am planning to invest more in the near future.

App is brilliant

WillowWealth is a great way to deepen and broaden my exposure to private capital markets. It allows you to do everything the website does and is in some ways easier to use. I love toe new ‘cards’-type design.

Accessing alts is never something I could do with all my Fidelity accounts / relationships but being able to do it here at Yieldstreet has helped me to modernize my family’s approaches to building wealth. Highly recommend for anyone looking to gain access to the wealth strategies of the rich.

Simple easy and it works

Very easy to use, let’s me actually invest when I’m not in front of the computer. This is very useful because a lot of investments sell out within minutes.

Satisfied customer

Have been using Yieldstreet for 2 years and WillowWealth is solid, the investments good, and the information and service have been helpful when needed.

Great to access alternative investments

Many of these asset classes were reserved to the institutional investors. Yieldstreet provides not only access but also clear information about each investment. And returns have been great so far.
