Telluride Ski Resort Reviews

Would be great to see telluride resort on the EPIC app! Lots more features there, and many that simply work better. Most of all tracking. Plus, it would be nice if EPIC riders and skiers could track their vertical feet in telluride, too. Other thoughts on TellurideSkiResort:
- Why does the tracking turn off so much? I skied 8 hours one day and it said I skied 4 runs? A bummer, because I like to review my runs at the end of the trip and compare to past.
- When you are in the map, it’s difficult to get back to the main menu. You have to tap the bottom of the map just so. It basically looks/works like a PDF map.
- Map often wasn’t most up to date resource. Didn’t seem to update consistently with latest lift updates, but the alerts did help.
- Really loved the “Powcam” among the mountain cams! Fun to see how much powder we got from a storm or in a night.

Love the simplicity of TellurideSkiResort . Live in Ridgway. Start checking Lift/Trail operations at 430 in the morning. Leave for Telluride at 730am. Don’t know who is responsible for updating mountain conditions. I plan my day out on what’s open. Many times TellurideSkiResort shows all lifts and trails operating. Understand the need for disclaimer for information depending on conditions. Disappointing when I get there, the lifts and hike to terrain are on delay. Safety is priority, like to see delay information as soon as resort knows.

I live local and used to rely on quality information on TellurideSkiResort ; video from top of revelation, good weather/temp/wind speed data, etc. telluride has totally dropped the ball on video/cams/weather. Not to mention the mountain itself seems non-interested in opening terrain. The website is even worse went on today (go on every day) and it’s impossible to tell what runs are open.

Most world class resorts have world class information to motivate and inform skiers.

Telluride in this sense is far from world class and close to the basement.

Telluride is so beautiful and super easy to get around. You can literally walk everywhere no matter where you stay! If you stay in Town and want to go to Mtn. Village for food our shopping, just hop on the FREE Gondola! You can ski/snowboard right into town or Mtn. Village, depending on where you stay. The runs are great and the bowls are Great! Thanks Telluride for another great tip!

TellurideSkiResort used to work great and I would check it every single morning, seems that some thing has changed with the development and now none of the WebCams will stay up to speed or sync in real time. The powder cam was frozen on the same shot for four days and I refreshed several times.

TellurideSkiResort (and website) are not updating webcams, weather or conditions on a regular or consistent basis this year. At best it is some random time of day every few days. In past years this information was more reliable and helpful.

The tracker has never been a good feature. It chews your battery and there are much better options like Slopes.

I would go elsewhere. Telluride is awful. Least favorite riding place. Maybe even go play golf, horseshoes or indoor board games. Just awful. I hear it is good in Japan😎

I live the trail conditions, weather forecast and snow fall stats. I don’t ski with my phone so don’t get ski stats, but other features are invaluable

This is by far my favorite mountain. Lifties, hosts, and trail safety are friendly; love the music. The variety of terrain is great. The 3 stars are for TellurideSkiResort . The conditions aren’t always updated. The web cams need to either be on a functional or just turn the ones that aren’t being refreshed off.

It’s much more technical than all the other mountain apps out there...loaded with functionality.

The tracking a friend option doesn’t work. Tried it on several phones with several different people. I like the trail map and snow reports though. Those function correctly.

This is a great app for tracking your stats and trail conditions, my only complaint is that my family has AT&T and the coverage is not that great on some of the mountain.

Easy to use; intuitive! So, so, so much better than the old app! I’m glad I decided to try it. I use it all the time.

TellurideSkiResort is pretty good overall, but some of the GPS features are messed up like the trail tracking.

They had an app a few years ago that was awful! Sorry guys but it was.

The mountain is blessed with great terrain, decent Snow, and light crowds. Otherwise it seems that no department heads are paying attention to any details to make The resort better.
