Screen will not rotate to landscape mode

95% of my hurricane tracking is done on an iPad with an external keyboard. If I have to remove it and turn to portrait mode I will not use it no matter what is being displayed.

I do enjoy the app, especially the way it tells me how far away in miles almost all tropical systems (exception: minor disturbances - like tropical waves) are from my physical location and their projected paths. The addition of that info would make this app even more useful.
The info the app displays seems to agree with The Weather Channel so I believe it to be as accurate as possible.
