Simply Horrible

I love my BGE so an Egg Genius and this App seemed to be a natural selection. I wish I had gone with the CyberQ. This app is a miserable failure. It will not find my device despite showing it on “offline devices” even though Apple WiFi says I am connected to the fan controller WiFi. Deleting and reinstalling the app is wasted effort. I have managed to use the fan and App on three prior occasions but every one of them has been extremely frustrating. I am writing this as I await a password reset on an old account (5 minutes and counting now as my July 4th cook is delayed and my BGE is getting too hot for my ribs). Anyone that wants this thing should contact me. I will sell it cheap but won’t accept returns.
Too much money for poor performance

We spend a lot of money for our eggcessories and we need them to work. The app is a disaster from a consistency standpoint. First two hours of cooking a brisket was great, then lost connection. After that, complete disaster. Now trying to spend Christmas with family and having to personally monitor the brisket. We bought this so we could could go you our daughters house for Christmas Eve and now I’m leaving every hour to check it because the app will not connect to the device and good luck logging or resetting the password. App developer must fix this issue before anyone should buy the product. Very disappointed!
Great product horrible software

My son has one of these and struggled to get it set up after an hour but after he did it works like a charm.
He got me one for my birthday in April 2021 and I have yet to be able to set it up. Every single time I try the software this uses decides to disconnect. My son spent 4 hours today fighting with the software for it to fail to connect to the internet each time.
