Contact Good Eggs Support

At about 2:48pm (+- 2 mins) on June 13, 2021 I was cycling on Haight in SF between Scott and Pierce when a Good Eggs van parked on the side of the road abruptly pulled into traffic cutting me off. At Haight and Pierce he stopped at a red light. He had no turn signal on so I assume he intended to continue straight on Haight. I told him to watch where he was going. I then turned right on Pierce to continue my ride. The Good Eggs van then pursued me for several blocks honking repeatedly. I think I lost him around Duboce Ave but I did not stop to check. I don’t see any possibility of me using Good Eggs in the future. Deleting the app now.

The old app interface was not perfect but it was at least usable. The app is slow. Also, the new interface is buggy, has graphical elements overlapping with each other, and generally makes it more difficult to find the things I want to order. The view with all my previously ordered items in the old version made it easy to reorder my favorite items without having to explicitly mark every item. I would have liked it to deduplicate previously ordered items to make it more useful.

I love good eggs, but the redesigned app is a step backwards. It has traded speed and usability for a fresh coat of paint, and is an inferior experience. There are frequent data and connection issues (none of which happened before), and searching and adding items takes longer. When searching and adding, why have a banner appear at the top that blocks the search UI, forcing a user to wait for it to clear before searching again? What happened to Apple Pay? Why does my basket have items in it, as noted by the UI, but show as empty when I try to load it? Good Eggs is a great service, and a few initial bugs from the redesign seem to have been fixed. But the core issues remain, and it’s currently one of my most used-yet-least enjoyable apps. Fingers crossed the team can remedy these issues, and bring back the speed and reliability of the old version.
