4.1 out of 5
NDT Driving app

I am taking it now I feel it is a ridiculous amount of info to try and remember and on each quiz you have to take you must score a 80 percent which takes so many tries when there is 30 questions I think it could have been done better in every way possible.

Poorly put together

While NationalDriverTraining makes it easy to access your courses and makes a permit easily attainable, the program is awful. Constant misspellings, extra information that isn’t needed, and etc. that winds down a path that which never ends. Only take program if you hate yourself, right now it’s trying to teach me about being a heart transplant donor and how it’ll somehow be on the driving test (which it won’t).

the app is ok but the content is bad.

the videos and references to “modern day” problems are no longer modern. they are *extremely* outdated and fail to properly prepare you for how to navigate learning to drive. but even worse is the atrocious way they explain things. i would have been done with the course a long time ago if i haven’t been struggling to merely decipher what exactly they’re trying to say. /yes/, the content is given to you one, small, bite-sized portion at a time, but you may find yourself having to reread the same passage over and over again in order to understand it even a little. the wording is clunky and riddled with bewildering run-on sentences, and the spelling is sometimes quite ridiculous. the whole thing shows a lack of professionalism and leaves one feeling overwhelmed and unprepared behind the wheel.

Much easier in the browser

I tried to do the ticket dismissal course through NationalDriverTraining , which was fine for the written portions, but quickly discovered that if I wanted to see any of the videos that I was being quizzed on, I had to go out of the course into the video library - and then the video library quit working. I gave up and started taking the course in my phone browser instead and it’s been working MUCH better.

Also, at least one of the sections (DWI) is two years out-of-date with Texas state law.

Poorly developed

NationalDriverTraining is designed only to meet state time requirements for a drivers Ed coarse. Each segment has a required time of 2 minutes regardless of the amount of reading. A 50 word page and a 500 word page have the same two minute time. The courses repeatedly states the same information most of which is irrelevant.

Don’t recommend!!!

Literally why would you make me wait

I read fast. Why do I have to wait 2 minutes to read a short passage? That just slows my process and makes it harder to stand this awful app. I'm having an issue now where if I press the continue course button it just loads forever, it's been doing this for weeks. You have to take a quiz anyway, why make me wait to read it? To make sure I read it? The quiz does that. This is just awful.

The wait times are way too long

Why do I have to wait 2 minutes just to move on to the next page? I can almost always finish the content on each page in 20-30 seconds, but it forces me to wait a full two minutes while I can’t do anything about it. With how many total pages there are, it’s impossible to get through this at a good speed when you’re budgeted on time.

Iffy

It told my daughter she completed the course when she was less than 50% done. It would not let her go back to complete. Customer service was unavailable. It only allowed her to to watch the impact video which is the last thing. We had no idea it had an expiration date on it. Now, customer service response is “so what she can watch it again.” We can’t do anything about it, talk to the state, they are the ones that require the certificate- hello it was your program that didn’t work!

Does what it needs to

NationalDriverTraining serves its purpose it’s just extremely slow and a lot of the wording seems excessive and like a school kid trying to make their word count. I’d like to be able to read it on my own time without the timer bogging me down.

Stuck

I been doing fine making my way through it but on the 3rd test when ask what type of sight this is it shows no pictures and each time I try to complete the test it won’t grade it please fix

It’s good but I have a question

I enjoy NationalDriverTraining throughly, it is easy and accessible. I have a question I have just starting out and I have done over a hundred pages on NationalDriverTraining but for some reason when I looked at how many minutes/hours I have done was zero. Does the time not count when on NationalDriverTraining ?

Mentee View

Very straight forward, informative and gives you time to do it at your own pace. I enjoyed all of the little GIFs and things they put in and found the videos funny and engaging. Would recommend. Mentee does most of their learning on their own, Mentor just needs to be in the car going through things with the mentee.

Jeana Alizé, Waco Texas.

i started this a couple of months after i turned 16 and got my learners license/permanent 4 months after and now i’m waiting until i turn 17 to get my license. i will recommend 100% . it’s easier and faster .

Helped me a ton.

I’m 22 years old and I don’t have my license. This has helped me so much to understand driving and I feel so alive that I just have to take the driving test. Totally worth getting NationalDriverTraining. Thank you guys.

Staying on track

The read along helped me a whole lot. I have a problem stay focused if I’m reading to myself or I get easily distracted. This helped me stay on track and I passed the test with flying colors.

Driving course

Excellent class videos very informative and helpful easy learning thank you.

Please help !

I’m 17, and I’ve had experience driving before I got NationalDriverTraining, and I was a little worried I wasn’t going to receive my permit or if it will be official after I’ve completed my entire course. Can you please assure me with completing the course I am able to obtain my learners permit through NationalDriverTraining ?

Convenient

I have been using NationalDriverTraining from the beginning. With the constant updates, it’s only getting better and better.

Review

This online Texas drivers course was very informative. I learned several helpful tips, and safety procedures to make my driving experiences safer for not only myself, but for other drivers.

The MOST practical and clear cut Drivers Ed app!

Where do I start? NDT is so flexible and very understanding to read and follow along, the information provided is repeated sometimes to remind us teens about how important it is to drive safely and aware of your surroundings.
The permit section is the longest and most strenuous of all of the sections, but once I got my permit it was quick and easy to follow along because they literally provide the steps for you and any questions you have! It is so easy to just read for 30 minutes and listen along with the videos for some entertaining education.
It made me so less stressed because I was able to get to my real school on time and not have to worry about lectures or tests from yet another building to go to! I was reading the teacher and I could listen when I wanted to, I could learn when I wanted to or had the time to. I passed my drivers test with flying colors!: Seriously guys and gals, I passed with an A+! I love how even after post license I can reread the sections to refresh my memory from NationalDriverTraining that has very valuable information and I can still be able to remember the driving rules, safety, and techniques reliably and effectively. I started at 16 years old and ended on my 18th birthday! I would definitely recommend to those who don’t have the time to move around a lot or are unsure of where to start. This is it y’all, NationalDriverTraining has all of the information right at your fingertips.
