First off, they don’t even let you play the game. They show the game off then they go straight to the subscription. Usually in games they would let you have a few choices. Continue the game without a subscription, or get the free trial, and lastly pay for the actual subscription. In this game it doesn’t let you go on without paying for the subscription or getting the free trial. If this game didn’t have that, I’m pretty sure that if I would’ve been able to play the game. Then I would be able to evaluate, and explore the game to see how it is. Then put my opinions, and recommendations on it, but so far it hasn’t let me go on with the game. Therefore when that issue fixes then I shall be able to review the game.

It doesn’t let you do anything else except for color and a egg and what if you don’t want to have a trial what if you just want to play the stupid game but now you have to have the trial to play the game but what if you don’t want to try out what if you just wanna put the stupid games out having the trial no the only thing you can do if you don’t want the trials color a stupid egg
This game makes me want to cry because I really wanted to play it but I guess that’s not possible because I have to fill out a stupid trial with stupid money that I could be spending on food things that help me live but no if I wanted to play more of the game and actually play the actual game I have to fill out this stupid trial and waste my stupid money🥺😤😢

This game is horrible. In the beginning when it shows you all the features, it crashed my phone almost 10 times. After waiting patiently rebooting my phone around ten times rewatching the beginning, I get greeted to a subscription screen where you cannot exit out of till you pay for a subscription. You may think that “oh this is going to be a nice coloring book app for kids to learn in a fun way with technology” but for 4.00 dollars a month I am not paying when I could go print out pictures on a computer for a kid to draw on or go to a simple coding website for kids. ( at my school we were actually required to learn coding before going to middle school). If you just do your research you could get these same exact things from CrayolaCreateandPlay for free. DO NOT BY CrayolaCreateandPlay IT IS A SCAM I REPEAT “A SCAM”

When you first go into CrayolaCreateandPlay , is shows what you can do. Totally fine, right!? But then when you were done and swiped through the instructional videos, you have to pay!!! What is the point if CrayolaCreateandPlay is free but you need to pay for it!!!! It drove me crazy!!! I downloaded this game because I thought Crayola would not trick me and if it was free you could color free!!! Also the adds looked cool!!! But, I was wrong and you can’t do anything without paying for it!!! Instead of wasting your money, there are free coloring games for children that are expense free!!!! Do not buy the trial and do not waste your money!!!!( P.S. I did not buy the trial because I thought it Elias a waste of money!!!!Also this was the first app I ever complained about because is frustrated me so much!!!!)

I I got this game because I’ve always wanted to create new colors and stuff and to learn to spell better by the way I’m using microphone to do it so I’m bad at spelling well I mean like is when I’m writing this review I’m using a microphone OK back to the point this game requires so much payment my dad will always say no and I said to pay things to me so I said no no no no no no no no no no no can you at least have some of the things that are locked
to be able to unlock them or on the other hand you can delete all the game passes on that thing so that we don’t have to pay and just kids can Have fun is it too much to ask tho kids just want fun so just please take my suggestions and pick one

I really like it but there are some things you kind a need to change a lot. I’m starting with the club. I don’t like how the club to do everything but the people don’t have to club only get to do a few things almost all the games are close for the people that don’t have club and it’s kind of expensive. One of the things I’m most don’t like about the club is the prizes. I think it is super unfair that the club people get the prizes but people don’t have the club don’t. People who don’t have the club get to earn the prizes but they don’t get them and that is just downright unfair. I also wish you could make more than about three pets. They’re about a 1000 things I could keep reporting on but I don’t want to because I want you to see these problems and why I don’t like this game. I really like her a lot but I don’t like this game please keep my report in mind and change these bugs.

Ok so let me first start out like this, i am a HUGE crayola fan i use it for everything! When i saw this game on a crayon box i was like OMG and i was of couse gonna get it! Duuuuuuuhhhhhh!(not trying to complain), but you cant do anything without suscribing! I mean come on! And when i did do the stuff free guess what! It would not load! Crayola is not known for messing up! I LOVE you guys like i basically live up to you guys! And when i tried this i stopped keeping up with the stuff you do. I am really disapointed i do not recomend please fix! Please dont think i am just a stupid kid complaining ok i just do t want another kid to go threw what i did sincerely, your ex-biggest fan,maddie

I got CrayolaCreateandPlay because I saw it on the back of a crayon box so I decided to get it on my phone I was playing it and I wanted to unlock one of the crayons so I clicked on it to see if there’s a coin or something but it said you need a subscription I don’t really like in app purchases and the subscription for a year is really expensive I don’t think it’s worth it buying the subscription I like the idea of getting to make your own pets and I also like the idea of mixing colors I don’t think that there should be an age range limit I like how there are no ads and the game is kid friendly there is a learning aspect which is nice but you can only unlock one of the arcade games without a subscription I found that very annoying I have played other apps like this and they didn’t have an app purchases I think will look at them better or whoever made CrayolaCreateandPlay could’ve done better with their design of an app purchases because you don’t get a lot of stuff before I played games that you can’t even do anything without a subscription overall though I think it’s a good game especially for kids who are learning their colors

This is a great app for kids to learn, play, and create! Coloring in this game is just like using real crayons and markers. The pets are fun to hatch, dress up, and feed. The pet music game could be a game on its own, my kids spend most of the time playing it, sooo good! The learning games are perfect for preschoolers who are just learning to read. The lab area is like you are a worker inside the Crayola factory. There are so many things to play and do.

The subscription might be a big NO for a lot of parents. But there is a lot to do and my kids are enjoying it. It’s worth it as long as they continue to add new games, features, and content.

Why I put put three stars is because when I started this game I was super excited turns out things were terrible. I was able to make pets which was so much fun but they closed it down the pet section and I was only able to make two pets. Next problem was The games were also super fun but some of the games were closed down I didn’t even get to play the games that were closed down when I tapped on the closed down games also the pet section they said I was supposed to join a club I could get everything free but I didn’t do it I thought I needed to pay and I didn’t do it even though I wasn’t sure I still didn’t deal with this game. This is why I said do not buy but for me I would still keep it. You’re like me I would be fine if you keep it when other people and you disagree that’s okay. Please do not buy this don’t stress yourself don’t let CrayolaCreateandPlay to trick you into spending your money for a little crayon thing.

My daughter and I are huge fans of Crayola so of course we subscribed as soon as we saw CrayolaCreateandPlay! She totally loves it, especially the coloring and making items in the molds. However there are a couple issues that caused us to eventually cancel our subscription. One is that CrayolaCreateandPlay is very temperamental. Some days we just flat-out couldn’t get it to load, other days it would load very slowly, other days it was fine. The other problem we had was that it takes up TONS of room on her iPad! 3GB! This was over 3x bigger than any of her other apps and when you only have 16gb to start with, that’s huge!

We would love to resume our subscription if they can streamline CrayolaCreateandPlay with reliable, fast loading times, and have it take up much less space.

My children love CrayolaCreateandPlay. It’s so creative and fun. However, after installing an update it signed us out even though we paid for a year (year is up June 2020). It won’t allow me to restore purchase or anything. Keeps telling me to pay. On top of that I tried to contact someone through the email address on CrayolaCreateandPlay and it got returned said it couldn’t be sent to the address. Not sure what’s going on but that’s upsetting after I paid for the year.

Update:
This has become increasingly frustrating. The website you provided for support will not allow me to email to it. On top of that, I get a message from the phone number about not opening again until Thursday December 26 even though it is now the 27th. Can anyone help me out with this? I’m really annoyed that I spent money on CrayolaCreateandPlay and we can’t even use it and can’t get any help with it. I have always loved crayola and use their products almost daily with my children. This situation has caused me to grow very disappointed with the company.

It is a fun game but still not the best. It could use more updates. Of course I still like it. You’ve got to color a lot of things. But I hope they come up with new updates. What I don’t like is that some of the activities are locked, which is not so fun. For a pet you only get one world. But this game is really fun I like it that there’s these little crayon guys. I love this game myself me and my brother are huge fans. But still it would’ve been better with new updates. I hope they come up with a new update soon. Like other kid games, but it’s pretty cool that you can color in the game. I love this game it is cool! But please get new updates.

I think the things on the game is to pricey and nothing should be priced and because it is a game for kids please make all of the things free because I pay for other games and my kids never play the ones I pay for and they play this and they say to me mommy can you pay for this and I see the price and I am like this should be free so I have to say no and you can not open the chest because my kids have 8 chests and they can not open them

My daughter LOVES CrayolaCreateandPlay and I do too. We trace and color and do a ton of stuff together on it. However the sound isn’t working on my new iPad Air. I checked settings and ensured I had the latest update - can someone from development contact me so I can get sound back and we can enjoy the full experience ? All other apps work fine it’s just this one. Def recommend it to any parent wanting their child to color but not have your walls covered!

Me and my little sister love playing color crown beat like playing the ice cream game and we go for doing when we try to win it’s pretty hard but it put you guys to do more and coloring shows our impressions and how you want to do it I think it’s an amazing game I think if you have kids or something or if you’re OK I think you should get it it’s really educational and I love the game and there’s a miniature games that I love to play there’s so much fun it’s a five star for a reason

CrayolaCreateandPlay has a ton of activities. There are some that are directly learning-centered and others that focus on problem solving, creativity, etc. My 3yo is able to easily navigate CrayolaCreateandPlay independently and he absolutely loves it. The subscription is a great value for all that is offered in CrayolaCreateandPlay .
I had an issue when my trial version ended and subscription should have started. Crayola has text message customer service that was easily available and I was able to troubleshoot the problem.

Highly recommend.

My kids (ages 7, 6 and 4) absolutely love CrayolaCreateandPlay. They would spend hours (if I let them!) playing and sharing and being active with a device. As a parent, I love seeing them interact and engage when using a device and appreciate the efforts to make this so fun. I’ve also needed to contact customer support regarding our subscription and let me tell you, I’ve never been helped so quickly or so well. Crayola has won loyal supporters in us for their attention to detail and help, restoring my faith in people. Thank you, Crayola!

I love CrayolaCreate and play this is the best game ever. There is some coloring. like pixel art. neon colors. coloring pages. I mean coloring books. There is a pet section where you can play with your pet. you can feed it. You can dress it up. And so much more. There is an activity section. there’s wax. You can grow plants. And more. There is a game section. there’s scoop stack where you have to scoop many ice cream scoops as you can. I don’t know the rest of the Games. But it’s still very fun. Oh and I forgot to tell you that there is a Christmas countdown. Yeah I know right? Each day you come and you get a new prize. Like costumes for your pets. New coloring pages. And more. It’s very fun. I know. You would like this game. Get Crayola crayon and play today.

I have nothing to say this game is so fun I thought on the back of the crayon box so I decided to download it when I download it I was so excited because all of it looks so fun I noticed that you can make pets make statues and everything it was also really fun because there was a lot of colors and joy added to it it was also really fun for me and my twin brother because we had a lot of fun making pets animals and fun statues we also love decorating it I hope one of the developers add to this because this is the best app ever

CrayolaCreateandPlay advertises itself as free and nowhere says you MUST make a payment to use it on the store, but once you actually open CrayolaCreateandPlay you are required to pay to do anything. It’s the quality and advertising of a regular free app but is really behind a paywall. There’s plenty of free alternatives on CrayolaCreateandPlay Store if you want a game to color or a game to take care of pets. If you want us to pay, at least tell us we need to instead of hiding it until you download. The subscription also seems very expensive for what you get to do. $3.33 a month if you buy the annual package or $6.99 monthly.

A one time price is great, but this is forced.
Soon as you open your greeted by a screen showing you everything you can do, then your put on a subscription page & that’s where it stays there is a features button & a parent button but nothing takes u to the so called main app, so by this demo this game is subscription only or a fake or a scam.
There is no free things to play with.

iOS is getting as bad as Google Play.
Free Apps & Games should be FREE THATS WHY IT STATES FREE NOT FREE DOWNLOAD THEN LETS FORCE A SUBSCRIPTION ON YOU AS SOON AS U ENTER!!!

Crayola is terrible now heck most kids apps are not free, they take advantage of kids & do this in app junk.
Can’t trust Apple iOS kid games anymore there just as bad as google plays freemium garbage.

This coloring app isn’t worth paying MONTHLY especially when nothing is free to play with to start with, sorry to say but when a premium dev that used to make grand apps does this subscription junk it means they want to make money.
They are hoping on a kid to download this & then see that start up video & that they can’t play & beg mommy or daddy to buy so they can play.
What a joke.

We would probably subscribe to CrayolaCreateandPlay if it didn't constantly crash. Our iPad is older but the specs say it's compatible (tried restarting the ipad, checking if we were low on storage space) But we have spent more time attempting to load a part of the game (most recently the design a pet level), only to have CrayolaCreateandPlay force close repeatedly when loading the level.

When we've been able to load in, the games are great and well designed. But the crashing makes it unplayable and not worth a purchase.

I mainly got this game so my daughter could paint her own pet. They give you a few free starter eggs then you have to earn them. To earn them you have to play games. My 3 year old had to do about 10 games per chest so it takes a good minute and after 3 chests or so still no more eggs. So we just uninstalled. If I’m paying for a game I want my daughter to have fun, not grind out games she doesn’t care for to win prizes she doesn’t care for. Unlimited eggs would’ve been the way to go! Less grinding, more fun!

This is such a cute app! My kids (4 and 6) LOVE it!! There are lots of ways in the apps for them to be creative. It’s a paid subscription, which overall I would find worth it, BUT it freezes all the time on our iPad mini ☹️ And our other iPad is in my husband’s name and I haven’t figured out a way to do sharing. Login is linked to the Apple account - you don’t sign in like you do with an app like ABC mouse. I emailed them, though, so maybe they can help.

First and foremost. Yes you have to pay a subscription fee. Big whoop. The developers state they are constantly adding new material to CrayolaCreateandPlay .

Second, I’m current signed up for the week free trail. I went through CrayolaCreateandPlay and it’s similar to other “free” apps. I say “free” because you pay for CrayolaCreateandPlay in one way or another. There are no hidden features or adds. AWESOME. My child loves many of the drawing apps but the ads are insane in them.

So yes, this is a creativity app with many features. So if my child doesn't feel like drawing and painting for real or we’re in the car this is a great alternative. Especially when you compare it to a movie or random brain numbing game.

Remember, you get what you pay for.

We can have a solar system page where you can go to all the planets, moons, dwarf planets, and the sun! We can have books and you read it by yourself or it reads to you. Age 6+ read by myself. 5- read to you. The books can be about crayons and space. The solar system page can teach you basic and advanced facts about the solar system!

Well done Crayola, what an awesome app. We’ve always been a fan of your apps, but this one takes the cake. My kids absolutely LOVE designing and creating the pets! There’s so much to do and explore in CrayolaCreateandPlay , but our family has just enjoyed the create a pet so much. Glad to see it’s high-quality as well, they look beautiful. I love drawing pictures on it, and it really gets my creativity flowing! There are many fun activities on it. When I am grown up I will download CrayolaCreateandPlay for my kids! Those people who give bad reviews are brainless. I absolutely love the drawing section and the coloring pages. I hope you make more apps like this. It is amazing.
