If you are only using one computer, it may be great, but if you need the capability of going across iCloud, select another app. Even though everything about this SAYS you can use it across your devices, the SETTINGS section of Flashcard Max doesn’t even show up on the original MacBook Air where I downloaded FlashcardMax . So hours and hours wasted and I will have to figure out how to download and transfer the information to Quilt…an application that actually works. Dear Apple: Please do a better job of screening applications on this platform. We used to be able to trust them and we can’t anymore. Creators are making a fortune off people that download and delete apps that don’t even come close to the description. I don’t even trust the reviews anymore because I’m convinced that most of them are fake.

- Editing decks so i can move already made cards to other/new decks.

- When my mac is in dark/night mode the font is black and the background goes from white to black. So I have to take off night mode to use FlashcardMax at night. It would be nice if the font would turn white or keep the background white. To aviod having the black on black note cards.

-Please update so I can have FlashcardMax do split screen it will help with taking notes.

For free, it’s amazing, however, formatting is wonky, I don’t see how to make things properly default, and worse yet importing an exported deck from the desktop to the iOS version makes you pick a text size, and it reformats *everything* despite the fact that you can apply formatting to different parts of the card!

Simply put the iOS version is not totally compatible with the desktop version.

I've been using FlashcardMax to practice my Japanese and it has been extremely helpful. It's easy to use and super conveinient, making study easier for me. Though it crashes from time to time - specifically when I switch my keyboard settings from English to Japanese. But I can copy and paste Japanese words from a website with no issues. It's a small error that doesn't take away from the utility of FlashcardMax .

It allows me to have multiple decks, name them and store them in the folders in FlashcardMax . There are several study modes, and it is easy to edit. I don't see information on importing the decks to my phone, and I'm hoping I can do that. But so far, I really like the program.

I've been using FlashcardMax for about a year now for college and it's helped me to memorize content even faster than regular flash cards! The speed at which you can view each flashcard is a really nice touch, and I love how you can import slides from lectures to help you make the cards faster. Although it really helped me memorize content better, there were a few things that I had trouble with along the way, and hope will be fixed in later updates. An extension of the filing system, for instance would be a great add-on! Although I loved the fact that there even WAS a filing system that allowed for you to store multiple decks in a folder, you can't store a folder within a folder, which made it really difficult to seperate all of my Greek homework from everything else! Making it so that I can store several files within a file would make sorting everything much easier, and make me a much happier camper! Something else that I think would be a great add on would be to make the "flip questions/answers" function work alongside the "Add more flashcards to study" function. When it comes to Greek, being able to study all of my cards forward and backwards makes understanding a vocabulary entry much easier to remember, and only being able to flip the cards one deck at a time can be a bit time consuming. Other than that though, it's a great app, and I would definitely recommend it to someone else. Thank you for a great, free, adless application!

FlashcardMax is so powerful yet is really easy to use. I was up and running in no time. It was very easy to setup two folders and create multiple decks within each folder. I started using the Spaced Repetiion feature recently and it is such a time saver.

I asked Max if we could study using Spaced Repetition one deck at a time as my cards were getting intermingled. He added the functionality. Max is the best! Thank you Max.

I am using Flash Card Max to study for a certification exam, and they have really helped me to significantly streamline this process! The cards are not only easy to set-up, but they also have useful functionality to quiz yourself. And of course I find it as an added bonus that I have the cards on my iPad and iPhone - for on the go studying! Win-win for me all the way around!

Was looking for a flashcard app to study work materials. I tried Max's and found it to be really nice, but my files were causing some small problems with FlashcardMax . I emailed Max to let him know i like FlashcardMax and had a few problems. What does he do? Jumps into updating FlashcardMax to work with my files!
Now it works perfectly!

Ever since quizlet started charging to use the study feature, I have been searching everywhere for a free flashcard app to help me study. After downloading multple different apps and trying them out, they all ended up requiring payment to use the full app.

I came across FlashcardMax and it has been wonderful!! I love that I can make different folders to group all my flashcards into one class. It helps so much in keeping myself organized. Making the flashcards is super easy and studying has become much less of a chore.

This application is amazing. Everything I think about wanting to do is already a feature. The layout of FlashcardMax is very easy to understand and use. I first realized just how much thought went into making this when I shrunk FlashcardMax and the add card component shifted to allow me to continue adding cards and reading off source material at the same time, whoever made this has used it extensively and perfected the user experience. Have never written a review before, couldn't help myself on this one. Especially after using several other top flashcard apps in FlashcardMax Store which were highly dissapointing.

Love FlashcardMax. Thank you to the developer for making FlashcardMax free. I can create flashcards. Share them with my students and not have to worry about if all the students can afford FlashcardMax !
I went to your website but it's down. I wanted to ask where are the flash cards saved? I'm able to export the file. I wasn't sure if the program saves the cards to iCloud so they can sync between phone, iPad, and Mac? If not, no big deal. Just wondering. Thank you to the developer for all your time you put into FlashcardMax! It's greately apprecaited!

FlashcardMax does everything that I want it to do. And, it has lots more capabilities that I may explore in the future. Everything is very clear and straightforward. I like making the cards on my MacBook and having them on my iPhone to practice when I'n not home. Many thanks to the developer!

This is a great App! i really like how you can take a quick screen shot and ad it to your cards for reference. I wish there was a way to chrink the screen a little mooe though so that I can read and make cards at the same time on my laptop. Other than that this is super simpe and easy to use! Fantastic App!

i use this to memorise literature quotes. its very useful and efficient, and surprisingly it doesn't even have in app purchases. there are some small issues here and there, but i enjoy the experience, and i learn more efficiently with this. i prefer it compared to normal flashcards because these are easier to make, and more portable. i prefer this to other flashcard apps because it is free whiles having more features and better features.

With the new update to Quizlet making me pay for premium, I was looking for a good flashcards app for free. After downloading a countless ammount of apps, none of which were free. I gave flashcard max a shot, AND I LOVE IT. Not only is FlashcardMax free, but most of the simple things you would have to pay for Quizlet to do, are FREE IN FlashcardMax. As a biology major, I love being able to sort my cards into folders and decks and add images to my flash cards. I've recommended FlashcardMax to others and they all loved it too. The developer did a great job on FlashcardMax and I have a feeling that I will be using this for the remaining school years ahead

FlashcardMax. is for stone-cold students that want to stufy from flash cards, in order to pass their test or assessment. Please don't change. Can I have FlashcardMax. communicate with my phone and computer?

this is the best flashcard app in FlashcardMax store. It has so many features! i truly enjoy FlashcardMax. The only con is that it does not sync to your other devices. However, you are able to import and export deck.

Does everything you need it to do. Very quick and simple to make cards, various ways to study.

FlashcardMax is 10x better than paying for Quizlet in my opinion. Pictures come up clear and crisp, and you can add up to 3 images! You can also note whether you answered right/wrong and wrong answers will automatically cycle back through after you answer a few more cards.
