Happy chore completion

I never leave reviews, but I’ve been suggesting DragonFamily to everyone since I found it! I have a 14 year old and 6 year old, and DragonFamily is amazing. For .10 my 6 year old is now happily wiping down baseboards around the house, and eager to “level up” her work quality to increase her payout. Meanwhile I can have my 14 year old cook dinner and pay her a dollar (standard) or more depending on complexity of the meal by paying extra via the reward side. Both girls have goals based on actual items they want that we can price based on true cost. Plus the girls love being able to check of their chores and watch coins add up. My older daughter even went with the savings account option to earn extra coins. I just love all the options DragonFamily offers. Thank you thank you thank you for making it!

Not thought through

So I dowloaded DragonFamily for my family my kids are 9, 7 and 5. I put quite a bit of time setting up all chores and rewards for my kids THEN realized when I downloaded it on my kids devices I have to log in as me for the kids to have access to their profiles. This means that the kids have access to change anything they want. They were changing rewards and picking rewards which I had not approved. Once they realized they could create their own award they would only do a chore if they could have a reward immediately. I contacted the company about it and they did not understand why I didn’t want the kids to have access to everything I had access too. 🤦🏼‍♀️ SO in short, DragonFamily worked for about 1 week and then my kids won’t use it. Honestly if all of that didn’t put me off, randomly getting push notifications IN RUSSIAN kinda freaked me out. DragonFamily also randomly sends the strangest push notifications that don’t make sense. I am deleting this from all devices and sincerely hope no one else downloads it as well.

Great app! Not available for iPad.

DragonFamily is awesome and has my 6 year old so excited to start doing daily tasks without being told! He gets excited for his coins and can’t wait to spend them on his goals.
He doesn’t have an iPhone (he’s only 6) and DragonFamily isn’t available on tablets. So every time he completes a task I have to open DragonFamily on my phone and check it.
If you guys could create a version for iPad, I bet it would be even more successful! He would be able to access it on his iPad and check them off himself which would be more affective for accountability.

Awesome way to keep kids focused!

I’ve been using Dragon Family for two weeks now and it’s been a game changer for my 8 year old! He struggles with executive dysfunction, so lists with detailed instructions help him a ton... bringing it to a digital platform has been fun and engaging for both of us!

I love the ability to add a custom task, so that even non-tangible things (i.e. use positive self talk) can be reinforced. My kid gets excited to add goals that are customizable (i.e. working towards and app that he’d like to download) and loves being able to check off his “to dos.”

I would love if I could change the order of the tasks, so that they’d be in chronological for him, but overall DragonFamily has been an amazing way to engage my 8 year old and instill resiliency while working towards his goals!

It’s alright.

I overall loved DragonFamily , but since my kid is still only 4, I haven’t gotten him his own device. I only have a work IPad for his school, but DragonFamily wouldn’t download so I have to keep signing out so my child can use it when he finishes chores. I have to say, if you didn’t have the issue, I would probably give 4 stars. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because throughout searching what my child’s goals is to approve them. While I do that, I like either press approve or deny or something like that and then DragonFamily shuts me out and I have to log in again. Can you please check that out? Thanks. Overall, keep up the work, because the work is good. From: Maria Camila Jurado L.

Things to consider

So far app is working very well. Please consider adding that parents can r excuse a chore for the day.... that you can change the order of the chores....
Having trouble with “rates” want my dragon coins to be equal to a nickel so kids experience high success and can earn realistic things but then when I set rewards at something like 10 dragons ($0.50) it tells me there is a zero error - please try to fix.
Oh and other idea it would be nice it there was an option for group events and goals that repeat after earned (things like iPad time)

Love this app but no notifications

I love DragonFamily and it motivates kids to do their chores. But the kids side doesn’t get push notifications? I checked in settings and there’s no way to set up notifications for DragonFamily.

No In app or in game rewards

As far as I can see, there’s no way to reward kids in DragonFamily . They give you ideas ( which who does not realize already that their kids might be motivated by candy, toys, money etc? So the ideas aren’t that much of a light-bulb moment). If you have a separated family it might be difficult to have control over offline rewards during the times when you are not physically with your kids so DragonFamily just isn’t a good fit for my situation I guess

Great app for family and kids

It’s a great way to encourage kids to help around the house and also keep track of achievements.
My everyday battle who does what is over!

Loved it until they started to really push premium

Was an EXCELLENT app until about 4 months ago when they made nearly every feature be “premium” to the point I can’t even edit existing chores.

Some bugs need to be fixed

Occasionally crashes when spending/awarding coins. No way to set reoccurring goals, you have to keep resetting if you have a goal the kid uses repetively.

By

Hard to use

Love this idea but honestly hard to edit chore after you add them if you want to change them out or adjust. Just not user friendly

don’t waste your money

i downloaded this after looking at others. the concept is great but every time i try to check off a chore it freezes. i have to close and reopen DragonFamily after every chore and with 4 kids this is a huge disappointment and a waste of time. no wonder they don’t offer a trial. i’m less than a week in and i want my money back.

No. Just no.

Asks too many personal information for the kids for tracking purposes.

Glitchy

DragonFamily has so many bugs and doesn’t work well most of the time.
