it will play ADs after every action, after opening a folder, switch to another folder, every action! It act like a malware app!

A media player has no right to be this aggressive with advertising, this is pure rent seeking. There are more ads in this thing than your average third rate mobile game. But at least the mobile game dev performed a significant amount of work.
Seems like MXVideoPlayerHD is just using pre built media packages and default menu formats, but they expect to be paid significantly for it. Ridiculous
Download VLC, don’t support this behavior

Rarely use this one. And when i want to open with it it just show circle and theorically it just show you just a page nothing more.

This is just one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. Any navigation slaps you in the face with an advertisement. To top it all off, the main feature: CRASHES MXVideoPlayerHD ENTIRELY! HOW LAZY ARE THESE DEVELOPERS? DO NOT DOWNLOAD, ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME. If you want something that works, use VLC.

I just want to give access to play my music and I don’t give it for my photos
When i open it first tell me that I don’t give access and want to go to setting and after that it freeze and doesn’t work

I love the layout and how it pulls all my videos up, but it won’t even allow me to click one. Finally got one of the many videos it shows it can play to actually play

So when I first got this I was pretty excited but then when I found out about all the ads and stuff I was pretty mad and now I can’t even open one single file without about a dozen ads popping up. You can do better

Too many ads to even set up and test. Plus, it doesn’t look like it plays music (only videos?) but I can’t tell because I can’t explore the free version because there are too many ads. Did I say that already? So have others. Delete.

It frequently crashes . Sound is not working correctly. Paid version is completely useless. There’s no option to add a folder for the videos. Ordering of the video also weird all the time. Sorry it requires lot of enhancements and fix

Ads make MXVideoPlayerHD impossible to use. Video files won’t “sense” MXVideoPlayerHD when using “open with”. MXVideoPlayerHD won’t work unless you give it access to EVERYTHING in your phone. I don’t want to give it access to anything. I want it to be a video player on demand, not a data collector. Download VLC instead.

The only thing I need it for (playing a video from a file share), it doesn't support.

Also doesn't help that while I was looking around to find that feature I managed to tap the "show a loading spinner and never respond again" button somewhere so MXVideoPlayerHD does absolutely nothing now.

Uninstalled.

Listen, I understand that “free” apps often have to rely on ads in order to make a profit, but the ad timing on MXVideoPlayerHD are incredibly intrusive. Every single menu I clicked triggered another app. I had to watch 4 different ads to select a SINGLE file. Absolutely insane. Don’t waste your time on this one unless you’re willing to shell out $3.99 for the ad-free version.

If you had auto rotation I would’ve bought but I’m tired of playing a video and I have to keep pressing the rotate button every single time

Not sure how well it actually works, because every time I try to use it the “Please rate our app” dialogue pops up and won’t go away. Give me a while to actually use MXVideoPlayerHD first. Sheesh!

No way to organize vids have to fish through titles once added and library does update and remove vids no longer on device

Poor usability. App needs access to too many things in my phone. Do not like giving access to some new app which hasn't earned my trust yet.
