I play this game because my nephews are into transformers. I’ve spent over 50 dollars on crystals and coins to upgrade faster. Upgrading the weaker bots (all are max upgraded) was a waste of money as there is no improvement in their firepower or armor. The game will give you a laser for example that lasts 15 seconds. It often gives you two in a row. They do not last for 30 seconds. What’s most annoying are the glitches when you get to the final megatron( there are two). My pro max iphone is brand new and works perfectly. The whole game freezes and you can’t even see the autobot fighting. It has happened every time and it is infuriating especially after spending so much money on this game. Not a very well thought out or designed game in any way. Please fix this glitch so i can defeat the game for my nephews and never play it again.

The graphics and sound design are good. As a 39 year old gen 1 Transformers fan, the overall presentation of this game makes me happy

The level design is also good. I like how the driving segments feel like the old game Spy Hunter and the shooting segments feel like a relatively standard IOS SHMUP.

The controls...aren’t so good. There’s a noticeable amount of input lag relative to most other shooters on IOS. It feels intentional to increase the game’s difficulty. It isn’t SO bad until you consider how the game is monatized.

Ads. There’s an ad after each death. I feel like I spent a third of my time with this game watching ads. Normally I don’t mind watching ads in free games, but this is a particularly bad implementation, and there’s no option to pay to have them removed. There’s also IAP for currency, which is high...but the ads...dear lord the ads.

I’ve been a Transformers fan since I was five years old. The thought of a Transformers-themed SHMUP makes me unreasonably happy. Unfortunately the ads make this pretty unenjoyable for me and ultimately make this feel like a cash-in on the Bumblebee movie 😢

I really enjoyed this game until I tried to buy an additional 1500 credits to upgrade my team. The game said my payment failed, yet my bank account was still charged for the transaction. Keep this in mind if you’re thinking of buying upgrades in the game!

UPDATE: I got my money back I’ve deducted a star for how weak and easy it is to kill the female Autobots. How Arcee at level 6 weaker than Bumblebee at level 5? I ran into one car at half strength and died!
