Just downloaded KnowYourLemons and was ready to utilize it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get past the age portion of the screening quiz as it had no options but my haptic feedback was going off like it was an option to scroll for your birth year. The only numbers it would show were 39 and 40. As I am 29 this obviously now the Ed of these options would reflect my age to accurately relay my risks. Really bummed. Super cute graphics though.

Thanks for KnowYourLemons! Very helpful for demystifying a scary issue and promoting self care. 😀 The Mona Lisa character made me laugh.

However, please make it more inclusive to people with breasts who don’t identify as female per se — transgender men in particular. Just mention them along with “females.” Or say, “people with breasts” (or lemons) to cover all bases. It’s a simple fix I hope you will take to heart. Thank you!

This is a great way for early education and proper timing of events when trying to prevent significant concerns for potential cancer situations.
Medical advice is always recommended but this is a fun and easy way to learn more about it without doing all the research.

I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m too young for a mammogram! So I began looking for an app to recommend to family and friends! They have apps for everything so why not breast exams. I love KnowYourLemons and wish I knew about it earlier which may have helped my situation… However, I tell all of my friends and family to use it so hopefully if they get cancer it is caught early. Highly recommend for every woman no matter the age because cancer doesn’t care how old you are and it’s happening to younger women!!!

As many times as I use KnowYourLemons, I always come back to listen to Mona Lisa. Every self exam makes me nervous but for some reason having Mona walk me through it makes it so much better. And I’ve learned I was missing areas before. I recommend everyone download KnowYourLemons!

KnowYourLemons is loaded with information, all presented in bright, beautiful graphics. It doesn’t just keep track of things or send you reminders—it also explains the WHY behind everything, using a friendly, conversational approach (and, of course, lemons 🍋). The whole concept is brilliant and life-changing!

I have wondered how to do a self-exam for a while but was always too embarrassed to find out how. KnowYourLemons made it simple and answered the questions I was afraid to ask. I love how step-by-step it was, I loved being able to pause as needed, I loved the illustrations that helped me visualize what I was learning about. I love, too, that it’ll send me a reminder to check again next month.

I really enjoy KnowYourLemons. I like that it has the option for no menstrual cycle.

I’ve always been paranoid about breast cancer as my great grandma had a prosthetic breast when I was a kid. They tell me she’s a “distant” relative and it’s not of concern but that’s not how my brain works. Now, my friend I’ve had since 2nd grade has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
