I’ve been shopping around trying to decide on what the best e-commerce platform is right for me. I forgot that at some point I’ve tested out this app before. I proceed to login, it tells me I can’t access anything cause I’m not the store admin. Um HELLO?! I created it, I own it... Why wouldn’t I be able to access it? So many other things wrong with my login but I’ll just stop there.

Love this app, but both BigCommerce and mobile online store editing is terrible. Can’t manage feature products from BigCommerce , which is frustrating because it’s how our customers shop. Broken search function tool, simply doesn’t work when I try to use it. Doesn’t let me search or manage current product inventory listings.

Very disappointed in BigCommerce so far. It won’t load any of my products. No matter what way I arrange the view (oldest to newest, A to Z). And it’s nearly impossible to get help on trying to fix this. When I called the support I was told that “they don’t help with app issues.”

This is a very big inconvenience for me, as I am not always lugging my lap top around and need to be able to edit my products on the go quickly.

Forced 2 step verification with new update is a royal pain.
Features are limited. Beyond viewing open orders or dashboard numbers, BigCommerce is useless.

The ONLY redeeming quality to BigCommerce is new sale notifications. Fortunately, this doesn’t require I open BigCommerce . I just get to the computer and picking/shipping as normal.

New products, editing products, marketing, coupon codes... anything beyond view open orders and sales dashboard graphs, BigCommerce does not even offer an option.

So what’s with the forced app 2 factor? Don’t I have to unlock my phone and have to use a face or fingerprint or password anyway? This is forced 3 factor authentication and completely overkill for a total lack of functionality to do anything!

Going back to 3rd party myself.

BigCommerce is great if you want to be able to do NOTHING to run your business. I have to log in every time I open BigCommerce . Once in BigCommerce all you can do is look at a few things and if you want to edit anything in detail, it takes you to a browser. Shopify app is way more robust and allows you run your business from anywhere. BigCommerce forces me to bring a lap top with me anywhere I go. Do better Big Commerce.

🗑 Not only is BigCommerce absolutely useless big commerce in general is one of the worst interfaces I have ever used to date.
We came over from Shopify and we have regretted doing it every minute of every day that we have been on Big Commerce.
Even the simplest of tasks cannot be achieved on not only the desktop version with Big Commerce and surely not on BigCommerce as well.
Simple elementary basic features like rearranging categories have to be achieved by downloading a secondary app from another company which also does not work.
🗑 It absolutely amazes me that Shopify has been around as long as it has and perfected the art of e-commerce and all big commerce has to do is copy or duplicate everything they have done and yet do not.
They have literally pave the way for them and given them a blueprint of how to do
e-commerce right and yet they still refuse to upgrade their system.
Absolute garbage and regret every second that we are not back on Shopify.

Compared to companies like Shopify and GoDaddy, the mobile app is very not worth even having. No customization options? On a E Commerce software? Yeah, not very developed at all. Most entrepreneurs now and days need endless mobile capability to keep up with the date. To only have suitable options for the browser and not the phone is way behind in the tech world. Please develop a better, more efficient app.

Using the actual website is more functional. BigCommerce is designed to show pretty graphs and order info, but there is no function other than that. You can change the order status but it's not like you can upload tracking if by chance you have a problematic order you wanted to update. Skip BigCommerce and just login to your store.

Thank you for fixing the bug that kept me from adding new products, but what happened to notifications? For months I haven’t gotten a single notification of a sale on the mobile app. I was hoping it would get resolved by now. Any suggestions?

I truly enjoy the new features and the ability to do some things on the go. However, the search feature is a nightmare. For me trying to find a product and do minor writs to it is cumbersome as is. I think once a fix has been issued BigCommerce is a must.

Current version charts are not consistent. When scroll back to last week it briefly shows correct charts but then immediately changes to week before that in the graph. The date range still shows last week but chart shows stats from two weeks ago.

They clearly working on it and BigCommerce work. But it’s keep signing me off and required signup every time I try to use it. As it is on my secure iPhone it Would be nice if it gave the option to required login or not, or extend sign out duration.

Limited in features but good enough for on the go checking up on your site - works flawlessly

I love BigCommerce. It notifies me whenever there is a sale. And I can do some basic management stuff for my store. It’s simple to use, and it looks great.

This is a great app but the latest update screwed up the ability to use the product search functions. You are now unable to search by SKU number, a word or anything meaningful.

BigCommerce is best used as an additional resource to your desktop! Take a look at your orders, abandoned carts, etc through BigCommerce !

Very very useful for the merchant on the go.

Barely provides any useful data and has no management features. There’s very little point in being able to review orders if you can’t actually do anything. Please provide a more robust and functional app.

This is a great functional app allowing me to check on “the heartbeat of my store” even when I’m out of the office, on the road or out for a walk. This is an essential app that every this app store eCommerce or marketing manager should have on their mobile device.

I was excited an e-commerce platform FINALLY got with the times and developed a mobile app for their customers. Then I was disappointed after downloading it because it really doesn’t DO anything. I need to manage my business from my phone. Neither the website or app allows that very easily

BigCommerce needs ALOT of work! I was extremely excited to finally have an app for this app because it’s WAY overdue. I’m extremely disappointed in it to my surprise. It only shows me the last 6 orders and I cannot pull up any other orders at all, even when I search. I hope they fix this ASAP because it makes BigCommerce pointless

App lets you view orders. It that’s it. Why would I ever need to view a list of my 10,000 customers? Just to scroll through for fun?? This is a pointless app. The insights show zero. The orders tab just lets you view the orders. And that’s it. I mean, I get this much info from getting copies of each order I my email. Again, BigCommerce was a pointless waste of IT resources.

We’ve patiently waited YEARS for an app and this is the junk they give us? I can’t begin to understand after all this time AND an extremely long beta period how it’s this bad!

The dashboard doesn’t provide the ability to see “today’s sales” only weekly and monthly. The conversion rate it shows is laughably high.

Honestly, this list could go on and on but I’m going to stop myself by telling you to checkout the text at the top of the “feedback” section if you want a good laugh.

Come on this app! You guys make a nice (but expensive) product besides BigCommerce! Can’t we at least get an app on par with my $10/month big cartel store?

Order notifications don’t always work
No ability to update product descriptions/inventory
No analytics
Doesn’t accurately report sales
It’s useless.

The old app I had was much more functional and short of being able to see the total sales it’s not very helpful. I can’t see what was sold other than a brief description with no size reference. There is also no product options to change numbers on the fly so pretty much average at best.

BigCommerce works fine but notifications don’t work which makes BigCommerce pretty useless for me. This is the same issue I had since the first beta of BigCommerce and notified developers, yet they still release the same app with known bugs

The interface is not super intuitive but the basics are there. Good first step. Looking up specific order numbers is massively important and that is great. You can actually call customer directly from BigCommerce

The UI is nice, allows you to see an overview of current orders, and shows a couple basic analytics graphs.

Unfortunately, that’s the end of its functionality. Coming from Shopify, BigCommerce is a underwhelmingly simple. With Shopify, you can do pretty much anything with BigCommerce that you can on the website.

Dear developers: this is a great start but please keep going. At minimum, store owners should be able to perform basic order actions (edit, ship, change status, print invoices & packing slips). The most important piece missing, in my situation, is not being able to see product customizations chosen in orders. My store only sells a handful of items, but with hundreds of customization options. So simply seeing the product title is not enough for me to fulfill an order.

I believe in you devs, please make it happen!

I don’t understand why would it take a technology company such as this app sooooo long to create an app?? They know how to sell the developers’ app to you but they won’t have one for BC itself. They used to have a beautiful multifunctional app years ago but abruptly they stopped it, 3-4 years go by and here we are again. But this time with a very simple app. (But I’ll take it, beats signing into BC with a mobile browser on the road for a quick work done.) Patiently waiting for many updates to come. I’m so happy! Thank you for listening to your customers.

I’m an avid BC user and manage multiple sites. BigCommerce just made my life easier. (Installed literally 2 minutes ago). Great job this app!

Not sure what all the complaints are about. I just downloaded the ap and logged into my store. Many functions I would do from the desktop are here. Review orders in detail, update order status, total open orders, etc. i have not (and probably would never) tried to upload a new product, but I don't need that on a mobile ap. I just wanted to see open orders, and have the ability to update the status. The daily/weekly/monthly sales reporting is seemingly more accurate than the desktop. Example- this weeks sales are actual calendar week, not just the last 7 days. 👍🏼

Been waiting for a while and it’s finally here. A beautiful app to give me an overview of my store orders! Exactly what I needed.

BigCommerce makes it so easy to keep up with my store and get notified as orders roll in.
