Not a chance

This game is in no way fair deal. I have never seen so many bad beats before. They set you up every chance they get. Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining about losing, I have pulled out some unbelievable wins that should have never happened. The thing is it’s all the time. If your betting aggressively because you know you have the best hand, you’ll lose on the river. I can’t count the times someone sucked out on the river against me and the same the opposite way around. It’s the frequency in which it happens and the amount of straight, flushes and full houses that leads me to believe that it can’t be untouched. Setting up cards is not fair play I know the developers will say it’s certified fair play. Don’t take my word for it play it yourself and make your own decision. It’s the same as every other poker site I’ve played. Play it long enough and you can see the set up coming almost every time your heads up holding a good hand until the river card then your busted. I wish one app would play it fair. Then I would probably make purchases if I needed to. But I haven’t found that app.

Complete Fraud !

This game is an absolute fraud! If you do not believe me just read the other reviews. The more money you spend the less you win. Crazy repetitive ridiculous turn and river outcomes. Stay away from PokerChampionship. They lure you in and then set the hook. More importantly do not buy anything! I hope Apple and Google will ban this game and the developers from their App Stores or at minimum restrict their ability to accept money. These people are crooks folks. I’m sure someone will spew something random in response blah blah blah “accredited” as they have before! How about you “accredit” the money that I stupidly wasted? Trust me and do not fall for this trap.

Worst of the worst poker app

I’ve played many poker apps and win or lose, they were all fun and entertaining. But this poker championship, lol , is amazingly the most lousy poker app I’ve come across. Indeed the champion name fits PokerChampionship perfectly, because it is the Champion when it comes to dealing the same two hands over and over and over and over. How can I get
Jack and 2 of different suits five times in a row. Even if I play at differently table I’ll still get another same two hands four times in a row
Ex…10 and 2. What the heck ??? There’s something wrong in the minds of the people who created this game app.

It’s too obvious, it’s rigged

Here is what they do: When you are a new player, they let you win the most insane hands for a while. During that time, as a beginner you easily beat experienced players. Because you’re so lucky. When you gain a good amount of points & poker dollars, eventually the algorithm goes against you and cleans you out. What ever you do, you easily lose 12-15 times in a row, until all your poker money is gone. What they hope for is that you then buy new poker dollars with real dollars. They do this cycle time and time over. When it’s time you lose a lot of games again, you lose games on the river, 5, 6, 7 times in a row. In real life this never happens. It’s totally rigged. The algorithm is designed to pump you up and the clean you out, in the hope you finally buy poker dollars. But anyway, you can waste some time with this game.

No way it’s randomized correctly

It is very streaky and I believe it does randomize who will win, but not the cards. There are tables I win at with uncanny luck and playing stupid, but when I actually play smart and play the odds I lose every time. AK vs Q10 on all in, never fails the Q is flopped. JJ in the pocket someone else at the table has KK or QQ. Happens WAY too often to be random because I know the odds of it happening. Good luck. If u don’t care about having a fair game, the game play is fun and when it randomly selects u as the winner it is a ton of fun because you cannot lose even if you try.

I appreciate your reply, unfortunately I’ve done the math and actually analyzed it myself. While it is random, the algorithms are not good. 6,2;K,7;3;5 all come up way, way too often. A;2, A;3, A;4, A;9 are all far more prevalent than other A;x combos.

Your Algos also tend to favor the “hot hand”. The person with the most money gets the “river or turn” they need far too often.

I’m not saying your game is not fun, it is. I have benefitted from the poor algos as well. I have received pocket A;A twice in a row followed by pocket K;Ks. Had a royal flush, which I have never had even close in all the years I played real Texas Hold’em.

It may be random and fair, but definitely has very obvious flaws. Sorry, it’s a fact.

Absolutely Biased

I don’t care what the developers say - there is no way this game isn’t biased, or in some way influenced by player profiles.

I’ve played over 100K hands and seen it over and over, select players (in particular if they’re way up - hello leader bias) are going to win no matter what you do. Play tight, play loose, or somewhere in between - it just doesn’t matter. The algorithm somehow pegs your profile as secondary and that’s the way it’s going to be.

And course you’re going have bad beats, and losing trends and play against really skilled players - it’s poker. But this is different. This is that feeling of “wow, I can’t believe I lost that hand.” Over. And over. And over.

Rigged

It is completely obvious that this game rigs the cards to produce an overly dramatic result. The things that happen in this game do not happen in the real world. It consistently punishes all in bets with better cards. It probably does this to keep poor players in the game. There is nothing random about how the cards fall here. Virtually useless as a training aid, you may as well download a slot machine game.

UPDATE: It doesn’t matter how many times they say it is not rigged. It absolutely is. They want you to stay on PokerChampionship , and the card fixing is what just does that. It “trains” you to not be aggressive, because if you push, a weak player will almost always get that 2 outer, or that runner-runner miracle.

something is not right

ok, first off when I first started playing it was a fun entertaining poker game. But as I kept on playing its been noticeably getting more and more less random. like I’ve been playing this game for a good 5 months now. and I really been enjoying it for the most part. But now every single time I play I ether lose my money in 2 seconds because I only start with 5k. Or for example let’s say I’m in a hand with this guy. and we both go all in before the flop. now we show are cards and I have the best hand for example I have AK and he has Q10. now I have the best hand right? yes I do and I kid you not every single time for the last 3 months the other person always and I mean always! hits his Carl on the river. I maybe hit the river 1 out of 30 times I really think this is not random. so yeah and I have one more thing can we please have more money then 5k. I have to wait 3 hours to get 5k and I always lose it because it’s just not enough. I think we should start off with at least 20k because it’s enough money to keep you playing. 5k is just not enough, well that’s about it I hope you can do something about this thank you guys

Don’t Bother

Another crappy game, why can’t there be a game which is more true to life cards? When you play real poker you never get 3, 4, 5 times in a row, cards with 3 cards of the same suit! Very easy to get a flush. Every game has one thing in mind here, and that is to buy more chips! I have probably tried at least a dozen games on here and that is what I found. I just want to play a game for fun, not worry about the game, trying to get me to buy chips. I’d be willing to pay .99 or even 1.99 to get a honest to goodness game. I know there are paid apps out there but I don’t know how they are.
I hope somebody reads this and feels the same way I do and has an app for me which is more like “real cards”.

Big slick

This game as you show is not FairPlay. I have lost so many games in a row,it’s unbelievable. I cannot afford to purchase stuff. I think this may contribute to it. I’m disabled and are home 7 days a week and can only watch tv and sleep and play this game. I am a good poker player but the beat downs are ridiculous. I will not recommend this game to anyone else. The ones I did I will tell them what has happened in the past month or two. At first it was fun but the last four months have been awful. Sorry.

Online poker

Pretty easy to navigate and not a lot of ads which is nice. You can’t play other games while waiting for a tournament to start after you register or you loose your place but you get your buy in back. Chat feature is useless much like most of the players that don’t understand the game or they do and just don’t care because it’s free chips so will call all the way hoping to hit their 1 or 2 outer on the river. This happens more than it should and nothing random about it. Makes it hard to play serious when you can get river too many times by a 4 card flush some idiot is calling 5 bets all the way with Q3 os and hits a runner runner runner straight or flush while you are holding aces kings or queens. It’s amazing how you can see a pattern and tell when AK flops top two but looses to a stupid 74 caller who hits his 4 but calls all in anyways to hit a 4 on the river. If you want to play serious cards with same like players who have a clue this isn’t the place nor is any other online free poker sites. They should call it bingo

There is definitely designed in bias

I am a statistician by training and trade.
First let me compliment you on a fun game. Having said that when I get different results over 1000,s of hands that defy the principles of statistical distribution. Example: I have probably been in hundreds of show down hands where I was either ahead or equal at the point of show down status my opponent outdraws me 90% of the time. I don’t know but the obvious bias seems to be introduced when a competitor like myself (who accumulates chips through either play or gifted incentives from the game as opposed to the many players who actually pay real cash for them). Get rid of the bias if you are going to claim there is no bias.

Frustrating

I’ve been playing this game for awhile now, and while I can admit it is the most charming and well-made poker game, there have been too many moments where I have anywhere from a 90-98% chance to win and somehow the other person(s) still come out on top (or vice versa). Maybe I’m just unlucky, but it’s gotten to the point where I’ve decided for my own sake I am going to uninstall PokerChampionship for the foreseeable future. It seemed a little too common in my opinion, maybe that’s just me, play at your own risk.

Bad Algorithms

It’s a fun app but download and play and count the number of times the cards fall for the person with the most money. For example, you’ll have two kings with a full house but they’ll have two aces with a full house; or you’ll have a full house but the the person who has more money will have four of a kind. It doesn’t happen all of the time but just often enough so that if you’re the one with the most money, you can end the game quickly with a win.

Love this app

Love this poker app. Like the variety of modes where we aren’t essentially playing a game of big bank take little bank and people actually have to use strategy for sit n go. However I have found that some users have learned to hack the game and there is no way to report them in game. Guest1424 was able to find a hack to cheat and I would like it looked into please. Other than that PokerChampionship deserves 5 stars!

Great app

This is the best poker app on PokerChampionship store. It is the only app I have found to have competitive players at higher levels and a good base of less knowledgable players who play the first stages. This enables new players to efficiently learn the game without risking real money! One thing I have a problem with is the friends aspect. It seems like PokerChampionship would have friends but I can not find any way to add people or get into games with my friends without being lucky. Other than that PokerChampionship is perfect for poker players of all skill levels.

Fun game

It’s good. The only weird thing is that if you are playing at any table with 5 or more players and check everyone’s best hand . Every player has made a straight flush/ royal flush. It says it rng But I’m sure it’s juiced a bit. Selling our info may not get everyone a Maserati but getting players to buy chips does, but hey Maserati is excellent and expensive car.

Please add this.

Firstly, this is my favorite poker app. I really like the way everything is organized, gorgeous graphics, and the fact that your blackjack app is the same but also links with the poker app to give you extra rewards is awesome!
My main reason for writing this review though is because I think it would be really cool if you added emotes that were poker chip tricks. Such as shuffling the chips, thumbs flip, etc. maybe make it something you have to buy with gems? Idk. Please add this, and if not I still love your game! Have a great day, whoever reads this.

Purely not poker

If your intent is to play poker, this is a waste of time. If your interested is a card game based on pure chance, this is the one for you. The Fair Play Guarantee is pure bs. I am a statistician and I know random number programming. This isn’t it. I have tracked every hand in over a thousand games, and the data is so far out of norm that it’s unplottable. Enjoy if you want to play bingo poker!

Update: Not to suggest the game is rigged, but I haven’t won a single game since I wrote this review. I was winning more than 80% of time before I wrote the review. In spite of their canned response, you can make your own decision.

One flaw in great poker app

This is a great poker app. There are too many reasons to list here. However, a big flaw in my view is the lack of functionality to see where other players are from within a game. There is a flag showing player location but one has to be at his/her profile screen to see various flags. I realize this ‘flags’ screen is where players can change their locations, although I’m not sure this functionality is extremely useful. However, it would be nice, within a game (or tournament) to be able to see where other players are from.
