Would Purchase But No iPad and MacOS Apps

Update: I appreciate the thorough response and I will 100% be looking out for future updates! A lifetime or yearly purchase with HabitTracker across the ecosystem and i'll be right back. Your doing the UI and the widgets how it should be done. Much respect, thank you.

Review: I was almost ready to purchase but not having the all across the ecosystem was a let down for me. The only reason i'm going with a competitor at the moment is because I don't always want to use my phone to access my apps. Outside of that the new widgets are a huge selling point, great addition!

(Updated) Great app!

Really like HabitTracker, but it desperately needs an easier way to edit habits for past dates. Presently, if I want to add 3 tasks I completed yesterday, that requires 15 taps! WAY too cumbersome. The best option would be to simply allow users to tap on the date for the applicable habit under the “(Current Month)” page. The fact that this page doesn’t have that functionality is baffling. Alternatively, a swipe gesture could be added to the “Today” page. Where swiping right takes you to an identical page for Yesterday, then the previous date. Even if users could only go back in time 2-3 days using this method, that would be enough. With one of these features, this is definitely a 5-star app!

(Updated to 4 stars - thank you devs for the response! Turns out there’s a super helpful shortcut via long-pressing the habit on the home page to mark yesterday as complete. That solves 90% of the struggle here! 5 stars once the calendar updates are complete. Really glad I’ve found a habit tracker I can stick with!)

Super Habit = Atomic Habits!

I love Super Habit, it is the perfect digital companion to the book Atomic Habits. After reading the book I struggled to find the perfect app to track my newly forming habits. Using a paper tracker was a PITA for my digital nomad life. Which brings me Super Habit.

What a game changer! One of the biggest challenges of maintaining habits for me, was living on the road. Every new destination was new chaos for my life and trying to get into my daily routine usually failed.

But with Super Habit I start my day, no matter my location, with my “list” of habits and voilà — much less chaos. Seeing my past success helps keep me motivated.

There's only one tiny, insignificant detail I wish it had, which is why I rated it 4 ⭐️ instead of 5.

If you could mark the habit done from the notifications screen, instead of taking you INTO HabitTracker , it would be perfect! I have other tracking apps that let you do that, but they lack all the great features of Super Habit.

Also, the customer service and support are awesome 👏🏻

Thanks!

Finally

I have finally found the habit tracker I’m looking for. Visually, it’s great. It’s just enough to stick. I love that the developer utilizes Notion as well. All around I’m pretty happy with it. Maybe we could incorporate optional sounds in future updates. Love the share card options available too and would be cool to see those shuffle with different ones. Thankful for HabitTracker. Massive gratitude because I have been having a difficult time tracking habits and have wanted to be consistent with this one habit of trekking them haha. HabitTracker is doing the trick.

My preferred habit tracker!

The UI is so simple, clean, and easy to understand! It is not time consuming to use. After setting up the desired habits and finish them with a tap. I love how I can input my old data into HabitTracker .

The free trial version only allows two habits to be tracked. The one time fee for unlimited trackable habits is so worth it because of the other useful features (dark mode, importing data, reminders, even changing HabitTracker color!)

I love that there are no subscription fees and my data isn’t stored on a server! I don’t rate and buy apps usually. Buying HabitTracker definitely was worth helping out a solo developer!

This app will help you get your life together

This is the best intuitive design for a no nonsense habit tracking app I’ve seen yet. I’ve downloaded so many, but these widgets and layout of the home screen are easy to use and helpful for keeping me accountable and on track with my habits. I get excited to check off my habits and see the streak numbers go up.
Some other apps have too many bells and whistles and I get decision fatigue from just being on HabitTracker . HabitTracker is simple & has the exact number of customizations to effectively get the job done. Bravo

Simple but motivating

I love the simplicity of this one — no busy visuals, no hokey games or hoops to jump through to waste my time, just click once to log that it’s done today. It’s super motivating, though, because I really really want all the tiles to turn blue and have the same number. (If you miss a day, the streak count for that habit resets.) HabitTracker is flexible enough to adjust past dates if you fall asleep without logging, to re-order the goals, to hide/show goals when life changes, and to decide how many days/week the habit should happen. It’s great! I’ve tried over a dozen apps and always come back to this one.

Great app, Great developer!

The power of HabitTracker is in its simplicity and tracking ability (while also offering the customization needed for certain habits). This makes it much easier for me to keep up with checking off tasks daily instead of getting off track with my goals (which is what happened with other apps).

HabitTracker is minimalist and streamlined- really a great app. However, the best part of HabitTracker is really the developer, Kevin, and how awesome he is with feedback and improvements! It’s really easy to communicate directly with him and if you give him suggestions/feedback, he actually implements it!

Easy and Effective

I looked at probably a dozen apps and tested three others before choosing this one as my habit tracking app. I started with the free version and after deciding this was the best one for me, I chose to support Kevin the developer and avail myself of the visually appealing extras, such as customizable colors by purchasing Premium. Many other apps were just too complicated to use. I don’t have to spend a lot of time on this one but it helps me work on habits I want to develop without a lot of fuss. It really makes a difference!! UPDATE: I’ve used for at least 3 years or so and still ❤️ HabitTracker!! Thanks Kevin!

I love the visual and simplicity.

I’ve been on the hunt for a habit tracker and I needed something visual where I can see how many days per month I completed a habit. Not necessarily just writing out what habits I needed to do and marking it off at the end of the day.

I think HabitTracker does a really good job of showing habits completely on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. I like the streaks it provides and the overall simplicity of HabitTracker . Also, the subscription for a year is VERY affordable which makes it more attractive. Lastly, there are zero adds which is amazing!

I think I would like to see more statistics. Other than that, I can’t complain.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for...

Downloaded HabitTracker yesterday and already loving it! The user interface is simple and easy to navigate. I like the various design options and all the tracking visuals. Honestly, it took no time to setup. I noticed in the reviews the developer responds to suggestive improvements so would like to throw one minor thing out there. A lot of the habits that I set up would be easier to measure by allowing me to enter a target quantity for a specific daily, weekly or monthly habit and then entering the quantity accomplished as I go. For example, if my habit is to run X number of miles per week. I’d like to keep tally of the miles as I run them. Could also use this for drinking x number of fl oz per day, etc. If I missed this feature my mistake and I’m sure I will quickly find it. In any event this has been the exact app I’ve been looking for to make some lifestyle changes and hold myself accountable by tacking/measuring said changes!

Thoughtfully designed, useful app

I have been using HabitTracker daily since 9/27 to track both good and bad habits. It's well designed, useful, and my favorite app in the quantified self category. I would only ask for two changes.

1. HabitTracker is designed around positive habits that you want to sustain (e.g. exercise). It does not cater to habits you want to quit. It's subtle, but things like "TO DO," streaks, and minimum goal of 1/wk instead of 0. It's not hard to work around that, but for example I'd rather not see "TO DO" next to bad habits. Just an empty state check box is enough for both good and bad habits.

2. It would be cool to stack different habits on one graph for comparison. But again, it's not hard to work around by just exporting the data.

Absolutely love!

I have tried countless “habit-tracker-day-counter-goal setting” type of apps lol but none of them have stuck like this one has. It’s cleanly designed which I love, there’s no extra in your face stuff and it does exactly what you need. I’m a very visual person which is what drew me to HabitTracker because I wanted a “at a glance” year to look back on and this is perfect. I want to stay on track on my studies and goals and HabitTracker is a perfect fit. I would recommend this for people that are visual, ADD/ADHD and habit oriented. One thing I would absolutely LOVE is if there were widgets so that I could see the little lit up squares of the month in a widget form. Having it be on my Home Screen for constant visuals :)

Satisfyingly checking off habits

HabitTracker surpasses all other habit apps BY FAR. I tried at least 5 different habit trackers before this one, and HabitTracker is *the only* app that I’ve actually stuck with.

Forget cutesy interfaces, overuse of emojis, and overwhelming looking reports with annoying fonts. No one needs all that.

HabitTracker has a clean interface, visually appealing monthly and yearly report, and each check-off of a habit is so so satisfying. I paid for the full version to create more habits, but even so - it’s lifetime access, instead of a subscription which was what I was looking for, plus you’d be supporting small developers. Thank you for creating HabitTracker! I look forward to using it for many years to come!

Perfect for my needs!

I reviewed a couple of other goal tracking apps and they were complicated. There’s some short term and long term goals I wanted to track. For example, first goal is to do a task for 30 days straight. I don’t need to time anything, I don’t need a reminder. I just wanted to list the task and checkmark it “done” and have that noted on a calendar so I could see my progress and know when I had done it for 30 days. So many apps require you to enter so many details, and/or to start HabitTracker at the beginning of the task and time it; it’s too time-consuming to set up. HabitTracker is simple. There are more details I can set up with it, but I’m not required to. I can get started with a just basic set up.

Create change quickly in your daily life

I have been messing around with bullet journals, lists, handmade graphs and it all felt overwhelming AND most importantly all of that was getting in the way of me adopting new habits and moving away from old ones.
HabitTracker is the right amount of simplicity and effectiveness for helping you track habits. I’m 3 days in and already I have established change in my habits for the good.
I love the notes section, the monthly fee and that each habit has a color. Fully customizable. So grateful for something easy to help me make change in areas I had been struggling with. (Sugar, screens in the bedroom, getting to bed by 9:00, daily exercise and no “News” days).
Thank you for a great app. I immediately upgraded to the paid app. Well worth it.

I love this app!

As I evaluated my daily habits earlier this year, I realized that part of the reason I don’t accomplish more of my goals is because I get distracted and lose track of the daily tasks that are required to successfully complete my larger goals. I use HabitTracker everyday to remind myself of those smaller tasks. I look at it very quickly when I wake up and this helps me to push back distractions like checking email or social media until I have done the tasks I created in HabitTracker . I rarely pick up my phone and mindlessly look through it because I can easily use HabitTracker to remember tasks on my phone that make good use of my time such as listening to a new podcast or sending a note of encouragement to someone I know. HabitTracker is easy to use and worth the price in my opinion.

Sometimes less is more!

I looked into a few “habit apps” before deciding on Super Habit. A lot of the other apps were very intricate and had a lot of up-sells build in. They looked super fancy but that doesn’t mean they were practical or functional. Super Habit is exactly what I was looking for. Something a little more simplistic, now that’s not to say Super Habit is not a great quality app, because it is. But I needed an app that was going to track my habits and display them for me in the simplest way possible. I’ve had HabitTracker for just under two weeks and every habit I log (6 in total) has gotten done everyday. I do recommend HabitTracker for anyone looking for a simple way to help you reach your desired results. HabitTracker will be in my phone for years to come. I am very thankful for it.

Love Habit Tracking!

I love the idea of habit tracking — from exercising (and having separate habits for each excerise I want to do) to eating healthy or going without spending. I’ve tried bullet journaling but it was hard to stay accountable for that, as I much prefer this digital means. On the free version, you can track two habits. I upgraded for $9 so I could get unlimited habits and dark mode (love that feature as well!) The upgrade to premium mode helps support an independent developer as well, so if you really like HabitTracker and can spend the money, I would recommend updating to get the unlimited habits and to help support the developer.

HabitTracker interface is clean and easy to navigate. You can make HabitTracker work for whatever your needs are! Plus, the reminders are fantastic, as you can set up a certain amount of them per week (3 per week, every day, etc.) I find that extremely helpful to keep track of remembering to log your habits. A+!

Literally life changing...

Nothing more to say. HabitTracker is an absolute game changer with regard to consistency, accountability, and motivation. Not to mention the ability to look back months (or even eventually years) in order to observe and recognize patterns of behaviors regarding your goals, habits, etc., as well as understanding and addressing variables in your life that, at that time, led to the success (or lack there of) of said goals, habits, etc.

This month is my one year anniversary of purchasing HabitTracker and I purchased another year again without hesitation. I genuinely believe that I will never not use HabitTracker for the rest of my life and will definitely continue to heavily promote it to friends and family.
