Not even going to bother looking through the rest of Drop when theres such obtrusive crap like that all over the first page
When I first started using Drop it was great it’s amazing I can’t find out which color HEX. After few months the only problems is whenever I use an image try to find out the color and it always kick me out Drop I am so annoyed by it so now the rating is going down I will say 1 Star. Always Ads pop up every 3 mins so annoying and I can’t find another app like this ugh I just give up and deleted instead
I couldn’t add a photo or access buttons because they were covered by ads. Installed after 3 minutes of trying to use.
Love Drop . But hate that I have to keep paying for all these additions is beyond frustrating. Please be upfront about this!
Impossible to use with ads filling up the entire page. They pop up so often I am giving up. Can’t even determine if I want to pay for the non ad version because this is too irritating.
I purchased Drop in 2020 and fell in love with it, but now, in 2022, Drop no longer works properly. I have tried to restore my purchase and it does nothing. It won’t log into my account, says I have no internet connection when I clearly do. I uninstalled and reinstalled only to repeat the same process with no success. Sad, it was fun while it lasted. I hope the developer can bring Drop back to life again. And since I paid for Drop , I should not be getting ads… a bit confusing.
I would probably rate it higher if it worked for me. I am sure that it is a great app for those that it actually is what they were looking for.
Super helpful to have an app to pull colors from photos and make swatches. I used it to pre-mix colors for a painting, which made the palette WAY more accurate and saved a ton of time not needing to color correct on the painting itself. However, the free version ads were so incredibly annoying that I found myself hating even opening Drop , and couldn’t wait to delete it when the painting was done. I understand ads are an exchange for a free app, but it made me not want to spend any time with it, which meant I would never even have considered buying more from Drop . I would have stuck with it much longer if the ads were at least respectful of the viewer’s experience (like not putting them smack in the middle of the swatch library.) It was just super annoying using an app catered for visual creatives that was so visually cluttered.
Probably would be a good app, if it wasn’t inundated with ads. Every couple of seconds, when I click on anything an annoying video ad. Deleting.
I’m sure Drop isn’t bad and I’m sure Drop works fine on other devices. However, every time I open Drop and click off the ad Drop crashes and closes itself.
I wish there was a way to create and export palettes with one or two colors.
Has Drop stopped operation?
This is the most perfect app for picking out color pallets from photos and saving them. It’s NOT TOO expensive and it’s NOT another subscription! THANK YOU! To the developers.
User interface is super streamlined and easy to use. Has great features. Not buggy.
Whoever who create this, thank you!
It’s a beautiful App, it’s really useful for my work and i love the minimalistic design.
It is so helpful to be able to import any photo into Drop , select colors manually, and tweak them each individually to achieve a sample palette to share with others!
I bought this to aid myself with some amateur design work, but I’ve found it useful in so many other ways. Love the crowdsourced pallet bank. Love the ability to export pictures and corresponding pallets to a PNG file. Love the variety of ways to identify a color (RGB, HSB, CMYK, HEX). Well worth the $5!
This saves me a lot of time as an illustrator
I use this for my webpages I make. Perfect of designing websites!
I would like to give Drop more stars however I’ve not made the in app purchase yet. I also agree that I’d like to use it in landscape mode not just portrait mode on iPad. Are there some of the palettes that don’t interfere with the photo? In other words, when I upload the bottom palette it crops the bottom of my photo. Also, it would be nice if the “this app Photo Palette” logo disappears in the purchase? I like Drop because it helps me planning my art work colors Will consider purchase of more options. Thank you!
