This has happened twice now in the less than a single year i’ve had it. I try to log in but a pop up says “the information you entered doesn’t match our records. you might be registered with a partner instead” and wont even let me do forgot password. I called my advisor and they were able to lock my account then have me change the password but this should not keep happening! Most frustrating app to use

Open a free Etrade account and compare mobile apps. Unbelievable one can’t see portfolio with unrealized $ and % at once columns, not have to click on each security one at a time. Lots of wasted space, make more information dense with user-formatable choices. Also, we know you are going to have weekend maintenance, do you need to daily cover up my balance with your announcements that need to be x’ed away to see my data every time I launch LPLAccountView ?

So when my broker switched from WF to being on his own LPLAccountView became my means to access my account. I feel snail mail would be better. First, the number of times it has frozen or crashed exceeds anything acceptable these days. Second, the delay is realtime pricing is sometimes more than 24 hours as it was this morning. Third, sometimes Face Recognition login works and sometimes it doesn’t. Maybe this is an Apple thing, IDK. Beyond these problems the organization and presentation of data is just terrible. No reason gains/losses can not be viewed across multiple holdings at the same time rather than having to dig into each stock. I wanted to give it zeros stars but felt it deserved at least one for effort.

I have been using a money management team that has employed LPL for 3 years. In that time I have had numerous mistakes on posting of numbers in my account. I have 2 screen shots that WILDLY exaggerate the amount that was in my account. One was 4.5 times the amount I had in my account and the other was 5 times more. The weekend of Oct. 13, 2024 they did an update. On Monday those with Apple products were having trouble getting online. Not until midday on Wednesday, Oct. 16 did they put anything out that they were having problems. And then you had to call them to hear the message. Go with someone better.

Sometimes I can get on sometimes I cannot. It varies from day-to-day, using the same sign on and the same password each time.

Worse, I had facial recognition set up for my iPhone and now it no longer works. When I could sign on, using security settings Eye clicked on set up facial recognition. nothing happens.

In the meantime, I exited and tried to sign back in and could not because you were porting over my account, which it said a week ago. How long does it take to port over my account?

I guess LPLAccountView gets the job done in showing you the number in your account, but other than that it’s very lackluster. It’s slow, positions hardly update, and it’s something I expect from an app 10 years ago. The one thing that is VERY frustrating for me, is that it does not support third party communication. I use Monarch to manage my finances and brokerage accounts, and being unable to link this one is frankly absurd in 2025. Even the most basic of institutions provide that service. May be moving to another brokerage.

I’m quite frustrated with the current design of your app. It lacks the sophistication and user-friendliness of established platforms like Fidelity. While I’ve noticed some improvements, it still falls short in several areas.

One of the major annoyances is the excessive pop-up notifications. They interrupt my experience when all I want is to review my account data. It's incredibly distracting and takes away from what should be a straightforward task.

Overall, I feel that significant enhancements are necessary, and they need to happen quickly. At this point, I’m not convinced of the added value your app provides, and I’m seriously considering transferring my funds to a platform that offers a more seamless user experience.

I’ve used LPLAccountView for 2 years, while it is reliable and fast, it could be so much more useful.

I would like to see in positions, gains (losses) average price, short/long, etc. there is massive white space to display, but instead I have to go each stock and several screens to get to gains/losses. It should be shown in the main screen, Fidelity has it.

In fact I may just push to relocate my account to Fidelity so as to have better access.

Blind using voiceover. Last week could access my statements for viewing and downloading; now message saying cannot retrieve at this time, try again later, with your supposed techs saying there’s no problem on their end, when don’t even know if they are using the iPhone app! this is inexcusable. Please fix!

I believe the interface and platform are missing so many details that others offer. Linking outside accounts, having a better view of your whole picture, not just the funds at LPL. This is something that should be more user friendly and having more access to news, articles, information. It needs to be a one stop shop.

The mobile app should have everything the web app does. Especially linked accounts.

Also, suddenly, I cannot use Face ID to log in any longer. I uninstalled and reinstalled LPLAccountView and still cannot enable it.

My recollection is that there was a setting for Face ID in LPL settings that is no longer there. My recollection may be incorrect.

When it works it’s a good app. However one day I can view my accounts and the next day the screen is black. It never comes back so I have to delete LPLAccountView then download it again, log in again and then wait to see how long before it goes black again.

Camera function to photograph front and back of check is funky and inconsistent. Error messages include: flip check, move closer, move away. Seems like the software could use some improvements. Capturing a photo of the front and back of a check for deposit is not new or high technology. Give this some thoght, folks!

I have recently been receiving error message when trying to login to my account. I deleted my app and reinstalled and still keep getting error message not allowing me to login. I am getting very frustrated and would like to know if anyone is experiencing this same issue?

Please restore the ability to sort when viewing positions. For instance, let me see top gainers for the day. Or to sort by value, etc. this would greatly increase the value of LPLAccountView . Thank you.

I’ve been using LPLAccountView for 6 months + now. It does exactly what it’s set to do. Easy to see accounts, holdings, balances, etc. Easy access to documents and any other connected software advisors use.

Most of the negative reviews are from an older version of LPLAccountView . LPL has made major progress on LPLAccountView and has released plenty of updates since then. LPLAccountView works just as well if not better than any other broker dealers/advisory app out there.

LPL has prioritized development of LPLAccountView and it shows in the improved interface and connectivity. I expect it to continue to improve.

LPLAccountView is working really good in both modes, also very fast , all screens are loading quickly when we try to navigate from one tab to another

LPLAccountView was added to LPLAccountView Store while it was still under development. So people were downloading it before it was intended to be used.

Pay mind to reviews from earlier in the year, as they were effected by this.

LPLAccountView works great for me. But an update several months ago removed the option to view all of the Securities/Stocks in my Account based on Total Value, from highest to lowest Total Value or from lowest to highest. Please add these options back to the Positions tab.

LPLAccountView is so much better than it used to be! I think the bad ratings are old and people just haven’t taken the time to write the new app! Check it out.
