Python3 IDE Fresh Edition Reviews

Python3IDEFreshEdition seems kind of like a mean joke. It's somewhat functional, but so lacking in helpful instructions of any kind and so many useful features that I found it far more with it to pay $10 for a better app. Plus, a fair number of bugs in here. I've had to force quit it several times in a few days.
If I had to guess (actually, even if I didn't have to), the author wrote one editor and skinned on a bunch of languages as different apps to sell. This can be done well, but it takes care and attention to each language's needs. That care does not seem to have been taken, in this case.

I am not a hard core developer. I just have an interest in learning Python to simplify tasks. Python3IDEFreshEdition is perfect for me. It’s simple to use and works for lightweight scripts. It’s also easy to look at the common lib modules like random and pprint, etc.

Several people have stated it’s abandoned and I believe it is, but for a free, simple interface I can’t see how you can go wrong.

Love the customizable user interface and general layout of Python3IDEFreshEdition feels great and is very useful. With few adds and restrictions. Developers are extremely fast at making updates!

This is a great app for basic to intermediate python programming. It doesn’t have the whole package of features and processing that a computer program has but I use it for when I wanna test an idea on the go. Great structure overall

Great to tap into to get more comfortable with Python, but honestly, the daily reminders are the best part. Cool quotes to get you re-engaged and stay focused on what you want to learn.

There are some features they ask you to pay for but they aren’t crippling you if you don’t and they aren’t aggressive about telling you to buy them

I use more software but your is woooow even on offline I can use it well I’m in Africa where the internet is a big problem but your software help me to work without problem

Its been very useful and you don't need to purchase it if you can’t. The interface might need a hand with translation, but its otherwise phenomenal.

Lots of features and at first it seems a little too busy but after getting used to it you realized how full of options it is

Have been using it for a bit.

Exported program to notes and it worked, exported it to Google Drive with no problem, will see if file works on computer.

Internal saving works it seems.

Looks like it has libraries and turtle graphics capabilities, which is pretty unique. It’s having some problems running turtle, I’ll try and fix it, but even without it, it’s amazing!

Works well for a sanity check when you're on the go

Very useful for leaning Python. Allows users anywhere to type in Python examples and play with them, reinforcing learning new Python concepts.

After I imported numpy, I found that Python3IDEFreshEdition is able to print one numpy command, but if I try to print a second one Python3IDEFreshEdition crashes. This is the only app updated enough to work with so every time I use numpy I have to delete and redownload Python3IDEFreshEdition several times.

I’m in beginner classes for Python Programming, and this is wonderful to use if you’re on the road and have some simple projects to do. :)

Is there a way to indent an entire block of script in one or two steps?
Also, any way to include importing common libraries like matplotlib, pandas, and scikit-learn?

Love being able to kill some time and test some ideas on the go. As a beginner, it’s helped out a lot.

I have used Python3IDEFreshEdition often, on the train, on my breaks, basically anytime I’m not at home. It’s great to sort out ideas/questions in my head and get quick results. If there’s anything to improve I would say it’s a little difficult to set the cursor exactly where you want in some cases (especially if it’s in the middle of a line). Anyway, this is great, thank you!

I have not tried many IDE’s, but for python. This is one of the best, but the thing that makes me like at the most is the only paid feature on Python3IDEFreshEdition is a one time purchase of $3 very rare, makes me want to give money to have all the features and no I wouldn’t have to keep paying very honorable

It is a useful app but you could make it better by adding a way to import custom library’s with something like pip

Developer got back within 20 minutes with a visual guide on how to fix

And python works fine
