This game is fun for anyone really, but if you like puzzle solving, logic and working with a team, it will become one of your favorites. You get a shuffled role every match you play which keeps the game from getting stale and each time you play, it will feel fresh and unique. It’s also the type of game that’s simple and inviting for casual players but can be complex, thrilling and seriously competitive if you want to invest the time into it. Seriously, it’s so satisfying when you get good at it and learn how to drive, help, trick or manipulate the people around you with psychological techniques and help yourself to a well earned win. The features, roles and game mechanics are well balanced, and you can tell a lot of time went into making a game of high quality instead of trying to make as much money as possible. Yes, you can spend cash on cosmetics but you get a surprisingly generous amount of free content without having to spend a dime and gameplay remains unaffected. There are no intrusive ads either which is rare among mobile games and the game gives you a fair way to watch ads to buy stuff for free too. Werewolf Online is a must try for pretty much anyone!

I hardly ever write reviews, but I felt the need to do so here because of how corrupt this game is and the people running it as well. I used to like this game and have been playing for a while (level 128), but I am just sick of it now. You can report toxic players and they never get banned and you end up in the same games with them, meanwhile, you will get banned despite the fact that the toxic players were harassing and targeting you all game long. Even if you make a mistake, you can get banned and when you try to explain yourself on Discord to have the ban removed, Guardians are extremely biased and will not remove your ban and they will make assumptions despite the fact that there is no proof of certain wrongdoings and you have explained your actions. There are also automatic bans that happen if you accidentally type the wrong thing, and once again, just because it “looked” like you were doing something against their rules, they will not remove the ban even though it was an accident and you have explained your actions on Discord. It is just really messed up that they have made a habit of punishing the players who actually try to play the game fairly, but they never seem to get rid of the really toxic players who make the game awful to play. Do yourself a favor and play Among Us or one of the other many “who done it” games where the system is not corrupt and where guardians are not randomly banning you from playing the game.

I would like to start by saying that I think that this is one of the best games I've played so far and I've played it nearly from the beginning/creation of Wolvesville . But having been playing for that long I notice so things that as an app the community thinks you should improve upon. I play with my friends and there are two thinks we think you can improve on. 1) There should be quests for exp and gold and I know there are already clan quests but those are expensive and require you to be in a clan, this would help new people get started off and help people finish the battle pass making your audience happier. It should be completely separate from the battle pass because you may never get the role you need to complete but the challenges should either be daily or until the battle pass ends. 2) Popular custom games should be added in as featured gamemodes for maybe a week and every other week. The reason being is becasue I love to play custom games like all random or all serial killer but something's it takes up to twenty minutes to fill a lobby so hopefully and it as "featured game" meaning it shows up next to or below feautered games. Like I said amazing game, though it can be improved.

It’s a solid app. If you have 10 minutes to waste, you can’t go wrong with Werewolf. It’s such a simple game. The goal is to find a liar. With this mobile version, you can play whenever and wherever with anybody. That seems pretty basic for a card game ported on IOS, but the presentation is pretty good for a simple card game ported on IOS. The game uses an in game currency to purchase avatar costumes which you earn by playing the game and opening loot boxes. Normally I have a seething hatred for loot boxes, but here it’s whatever. It’s a mobile game and you don’t really ever need to buy them. You can earn them entirely for free and they don’t take too long to find. It’s just the average quality and nothing more. I do wish you could unlock costumes through a leveling system or through some other method that wasn’t so Activisiony. Overall, if you want a simple game of Werewolf on your phone, you can’t really go wrong with this. Plus it’s free. Rejoice for free mobile games!

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year, and I generally play at least once a day. I wasn’t going to make this review, but I’ve gotten to the point where it needs to be said. I am frustrated with how players a maintained, so many sexist players, racists, and horrible mannered people. There is also a HUGE problem with people playing to purposefully ruin a game I.E game throwing, random killing, etc. stuff is never done about this no matter what, it seems the developers are scared to ban accounts because it will make them lose money. The game becomes aggravating to play when there’s gamethrowers yet the problem never stops. I once got banned for saying “stupid” , as offensive language, yet someone is blatantly racist isn’t even considered for ban. I want to continue loving this game but this problem is getting worse.

Also, make fool a villager role, it’s so annoying being revealed first day, then getting penalized if you kill yourself. Thanks, that’s a major complaint I have.

Overall, fix the community, very aggravating and it’s hard to even play anymore. I love this game but that’s it’s fatal flaw for me and I might just have to delete the game if it doesn’t stop.

This game is so amazing, lots of fun to play with friends or just by yourself when you are bored. There are so many different roles, and such awesome gameplay. It does remind me of among us, however it has more roles. I believe they could add a few things, though. I wish that they looked more into banning, I worked hard in many games however it ended up in banning. I also wish the costume packs stay for more then a couple days. Also, I wish it was easier to suicide without getting banned. To add on, I wish there was some way to say your favorite and least favorite roles, so you had less of a chance of getting a role you don’t like. I had read a comment about how it’s really hard for the blind or hard of seeing to play this game, and I do agree with them. It may be kind of hard, however that is only one down grade. There are so many amazing features to the game, from editing your avatar to actually playing the game. This game lets your creativity show, along with new games to play with your friends. It is totally worth trying, and I would recommend it to most of my friends.

If you’re considering this game, be prepared to be overwhelmed for a little bit. There’s a lot of information you need to keep track of and it’s hard learning the roles in the beginning. But the roles become easier, especially as you play them. The game is fun when you start to understand who does what and what motivations other players will have regarding deception. It’s a great game overall though.

Racism and random sexual commentary is a bit overboard though. I play with three different avatars and even in a fully anonymous game, people still tend to go hard on my darkest skin tone character. I’ve played a few hundred games and this is a trend I’m not alone in noticing. Also, usernames sometimes are barely veiled racist slurs or phrases like “HaylHittler” as if a slight misspelling would change the sentiment.

Also game glitches get weird. Sometimes you can’t see a players icon. Sometimes if you’re a revealing role you can click to reveal but it won’t show the persons role and won’t give the text box to show either. Sometimes you can’t vote and the like. Glitches that are annoying but also do impact gameplay.

I must say fun fun game. But I have one complaint, that is role variety. For example, in ranked and quick play there are the same base roles, but tbh in quick play and ranked have 1 thing in common, the villains. In quick play there is the boring yet occasionally strong shaman, overpowered and fun jr, reg ww, alpha werewolf (honestly it serves no purpose except lucky end game stuff), and wolf seer which is a good role I must say. But I think maybe replacing alpha or shaman with a different werewolf type would be fun, like an alpha male, if alpha male dies, he gets another werewolf revealed (terrible example but you get the idea, something better). And don’t get me wrong, the game is more fun then the card game since everybody is better let’s admit it, quick play is rather ehh but ranked is hard and more fun along with more intensity. These are my opinions, and also maybe making clan quests cheaper would be great and making he xp 20k instead of 13k.

If you have vision issues and/or or Blind, don’t even bother trying to play this game. You won’t be able to. It’s only 15% voiceover accessible. This game could be great for everyone, however no one seems to care or want to take the time to include Blind/low vision players. This is extremely hurtful and discriminatory. The only thing you can do is get the daily reward. Just forget about playing because you can’t, due to lack of willingness to fix this issue and include those without site. If I was the developer, I’d be extremely ashamed of myself. Maybe if you try to play the game with voiceover on and a screen curtain over what you normally see, then you’d experience what low vision and blind people have to deal with in your game. This game is insulting and prejudiced towards those without sight who want to play but are on the evil. This is extremely hurtful and mini blind people are also gamers. Which people conveniently forget. There are many blind people who are gamers and want to play the same games as those with site, however they’re left out due to this issue. Stop adding salt into already opened wounds. Fix it and make it fair for everyone to play.

We all know how games can bring us together, but sometimes you may stumble upon jerks. Toxic behavior happens here too, I only wish there were a way to block players for behaviors like acting as if the last person who voted wrong was the only reason for a loss, they can’t force others to choose the wrong answer. Even if it was stated and half of more than half, so far I have met people like that. Also I have seen people get angry after revealing the werewolf as a pacifist, IDK why other than they weren’t able to vote. The system needs to be fixed so that toxic players are banned, there’s another review on this I very much agree on, at least in among us they have the option of banning. I wouldn’t be surprised if this issue of toxicity isn’t talked about because either people don’t wanna bring it up, or the fact that most of the players are toxic. I wish you could do more with that, maybe if there were more solid accounts as well so that banning or blocking toxic players is more effective and so that the people who aren’t toxic can actually enjoy the game for what it is, a game.

Ever since i started playing WWO i’ve become obsessed and i love the game, so much more than other versions! Only two things bother me a lot about the game, i wish messaging/game invites were actually instant because a lot of the times you miss out on these things due to not seeing them until later. The biggest thing i’d have to say bothers me is there’s not a whole lot of ways to earn coins, and leveling up takes a lot of time and dedication. The spin you get from watching an ad gives you very little in comparison to what you would need to be able to buy the cool stuff! There’s a lot of young players/ people who honestly can’t spend the extra money to purchase these things. I would just like to see the game made a little more available to players who aren’t able to purchase coins/gems.

This is one of the best games so far. I’ve played this day and night and it’s super addicting! One suggestion is to make the werewolf team a little fairer by adding one more werewolf to the team. And I think that there should be a thing where people can vote to skip voting. I know it seems complicated but it’s just a suggestion. I also feel like the solo players almost never win. I got serial killer three times in a row and never won. I think maybe the solo players should be given a tiny advantage. I don’t know, it just feels like the village is a little too overpowering. Because people who get the werewolf role like to suicide a lot because they didn’t get a role on the team they wanted. And most people think that the village will win. Overall I think this is one of the best, simple, interesting games there is in Wolvesville Store. Very happy with my download.

This game is really entertaining. I love being able to deceive others when I'm on a werewolf team, or working with the village when I'm a villager, or just acting on my own when I'm the fool or random killer. The game is complex and it rewards you if you stick with it. Getting diamonds is hard, but with the quest system, it'll be a lot easier. Of course, some things are bad; there are toxic, racist, homophobic, and sexist players that occasionally show up, but the game lets you block and report them, and once that's done, they can't bother you anymore. I do have a few problems; the games are almost always villager wins. I also think they should get rid of the zombie role, because it's a pain for everyone involved. Other than that, it's a great way to spend your time!

Atm each game consists of 16 players. 10 of them are village (good), 2 are neutral, and 4 are werewolves (bad). Even though this might seem good, it’s always tilted towards a villager win. This causes the game to be that much more unbalanced. In my opinion, the game would benefit a lot from a 25% neutral, 25% bad 50% good player system in every game to keep the game balanced. That would mean 4 werewolves and 4 neutral players with 8 villagers. Making and implementing a balance change like this would greatly improve the competitive aspect of the game and would encourage older players to play ranked more. Hopefully y’all consider this idea and further improve your game. ~ItzBurstyy (I play ToS) edit: Just wanted to mention the cursed role imo, is more of a villager role until someone finds out who they are. If it gets replaced with another neutral evil role that can kill I believe that would make the game way more balanced.

This game is honestly the best game on my phone right now. I feel like the game is 99% perfect. I only have a couple issues to address, one sometimes when you are a seer and you select someone to check the game bugs out and doesn’t let you see their role. My other problem is why is it so hard to get coins??? The only way I’ve gained coins is by watching ads for a long while then buying the stuff that I want to buy. I feel that there should be a small bonus when you win a game instead of just getting nothing. Lastly why are loot boxes so rare? I get that the only way to get loot boxes is by leveling up but it takes FOREVER to level up, and I wish there would be a faster way to get xp. That’s all I’m sayin about the game despite the issues I still give it 5 stars for the joy it brings me.

Just started playing yesterday, already one of the best mobile games I’ve played in a long time. The game itself is so much fun, proving to people that you are such, and being a werewolf is a whole new challenge. There is a learning curve to it, and I’d recommend reading about what all the roles do. Also, playing with friends and family is SO MUCH FUN. I have cousins that I play with, and it adds another factor in, especially if you are on different teams. The only suggestion I would make, make the ranked version a little harder to unlock, because there are a lot of noobs and beginners in that mode. The characters that you get to make are an afterthought when downloading the game, but it’s so rewarding and fun to unlock one and get to use it on your character. Download it, you won’t regret it.

I love this game I play it everyday. There are a few annoying things in this game though. Specifically a few roles.
1. Cupid - I think Cupid should be able to see the roles of his/her couple, I know this isn’t much for Cupid but it would definitely make the role a little more interesting.
2. Sect leader - Again I think sect leader should be able to see roles of his teammates but I also think he should be able to kill anyone in his sect but only once per game. For instance one person is about to rat you out, well you could just kill him, problem solved!
New role! I have an idea for a couple roles but I don’t think any of them are really good so I will let you decide.
1 - Some kind of medic, village team, he is able to save a player during the day one time, for instance if they are glitched or if tough guy was attacked. He could also be a good rrv role. I think that would be a fun or interesting role and balanced because they could only do it once.
2 - A wolf medium... it’s as simple as that a new wolf that can revive another wolf.
3 - A role switcher, he gets to choose two people at night to switch role only 1 time.
Well that’s all I could think of and I know you probably won’t even see this but it would be really cool to see something like one of these in the game I think.

This sounds like a bot review, but I assure you it’s not. This game is super fun, and you can tell it’s well thought out. My friends introduced it to me about 3 weeks ago and since then we’ve all been playing together and doing clan quests and such. I’m really enjoying it and it makes for an interesting game when you’re using discord or playing in the same place as your friends. It’s also fun to play by yourself (who needs friends anyway?) and not just one of those games that you can only play once in a while when someone actually wants to play with you. My only suggestion maybe is to add an optional ingame voice chat, I feel like that could make the game really cool and more immersive. All in all, really great game!

Hi. I am messaging you because I lost gold in the amount of approximately 1100 and the person who was helping me said that I probably accidentally purchased something for 1000 gold. I did not and they can see that. I love this game and I’ve only spent maybe $60 on it but if I randomly just lose my money then I won’t be spending anymore on it. I played the game last night and had over 1100 gold. This morning I only had 20. No, I did not screenshot how much gold I had last night because I didn’t think I needed to keep track of it for proof. The game developers should have that information. I am simply asking for my goal back or a list of my purchases. Thanks!

I love this game, don’t get me wrong. Its a great game to play when you’re bored thats easy to understand. HOWEVER, this game, and the “guardians” of this game, are very very sexist. I (f) and my boyfriend (m) play this game together. We’re both super into the game, and like most online games, people can be toxic. Him and I are sometimes a little toxic. Saying things like “your dumb” or something small like that. He, being much more toxic than I am, has never been banned. He’s gone as far as telling people to die, calling them wh*res and b*tches, and he’s never been banned. I, have maybe only called someone dumb or useless at their role, and have been banned over and over.

I guess my point is, male characters in this game, don’t get banned regardless of what they do, where as females get banned all the time.
This game is very sexist and goes against women.

I recently bought two things in Werewolf Online. I bought 400 diamonds and a special pack that includes 1 outfit and 3 lootboxes. However, I did not receive my special pack even though it said I bought it successfully. I messaged a mentor to ask about it, but I was told that outfits could only be bought with gems and not real money. Then what did I just buy? When I check Wolvesville store, it says that both purchases are pending even tho i already received the 400 diamonds. Originally, I thought I would only have to refresh Wolvesville to get the special pack cause that’s what I did in order to get my 400 diamonds; I tried 4 times and nothing happened. When I bought the diamonds, I waited a few minutes for it to show up after the message about successful purchase, but it didn’t work until I refreshed Wolvesville . Seeing how it’s different from my other in game purchases and how it seemed like there are problems with it. The support replied quickly but weren’t very helpful imo. The mentors’ attitudes were also meh. The game itself is fun but the other players are very rude. They would literally call others dumb and cuss about it whenever someone dies. Have they ever considered that the player could be new? Or maybe they had their own strategies? Very unsatisfied with the experience.

If you are ever a fan of Mafia, slasher, or werewolf and have always wanted to play with friends then you have found the right game. I always loved playing mafia or slasher on the n but unfortunately mafia required a huge party in person and the N got taken down, as a result I have been scouring around for a game and honestly I found it on Wolvesville.
Firstly, great game and community. The developers, creators, and content makers really care about community, user experience, and about the game. You can see this by: Wolvesville being free, constant improvements and releases, dedication to make sure no bad languages or behavior, LIMITED ADS (sorry this one is huge for me), social media posts and discord clan help.

For most of the other games out there you are constantly bombarded with ads, YOU WILL NOT HAVE THAT BAD EXPERIENCE with Wolvesville, which is amazing. The main way I assume they profit is with in app purchases but honestly you can go playing without the fancy purse or crown for you character. you can play to your hearts content and no be spammed which for me is super appealing (you will have the occasional ad after a few games but for the great game it’s totally worth it)

Very attentative game, great community, huge loads of fun, I highly recommend it. Would like to give a huge shoutout to the developers and company for such a great experience and for the creativity and care they put into the the game.

This is a fun and well put together game. I don’t have anything to complain about but I’d like to see this game added to a lot. I have some suggestions:

1) add other game modes. Ones that include the newer roles. (Custom does this but if the developers do, it’ll probably be more balanced)
2) make it so the doc can self heal 1x
3) headhunter and fool shouldn’t end the game when they get the win. Just add them to the winning team at the end.
4) games should have multiple of the same character so it’s easier for evil to blend in.
5) if you are part of a team (ww,sect,etc) you should be able to see ur teammates roles.
6) give 45 seconds for each phase, the games are a little quick.
7) lovers should win if they live to the end. (If ww have lover, then when ww win-lover also wins)

Glitches:
1) seems as if when you run the zombie talisman that it makes you have an almost guaranteed chance to be wolf seer or seer (I was ws or s for about 10 games in a row, regardless of how low the chance it said) might have to do with someone else also running the talisman...

I’ll update if I have anymore suggestions.

One of the ways this game can be addicting is through avatar customization. Playing more earns you exp for loot boxes with many creative and fantastical accessories, it’s fun!

Recently, I changed my avatar’s skin color to the “darkest” option to match some new accessories I got.

Now, about 50% of the games I join, I get called out by random players “black niga” “kill the niger” “black people should die” etc.

Yes the other villagers WILL vote for you day 1 even if you are on the good team. Or you get randomly shot despite being the seer for being “suspicious.”

The difference between when I was using a “white” avatar versus a “black” avatar is HUGE.

It’s utterly disturbing, screwed up, and ridiculous that they can even target a FICTIONAL avatar.

Yes, the official game rules prohibit racism, but it’s not enforced well and it’s hidden in the rules in a tab you have to look for, so new players would never see it.

When told they would be reported, racist players just say “don’t care, I’ll just make a new account.”

Did I mention, the official game language for describing death from majority village vote is a “lynching”?

What a great example to lead with!

Im highly addicted to this game but in the most recent update, quick play was changed and some roles swapped out which I mildly dislike. The Bomber is kind of over powered because it can kill 3 people at once, and that makes it nearly impossible for wolves to win due to the quickplay having the 2 auras and a seer now. I just liked how quickplay was the other day with serial killer, jailer, avenger, 1 aura, and no witch, no beast hunter or no priest, but its a personal opinion so my suggestion is to change quickplay back to normal or make the old one Im talking about a classic gamemode.
