SeasonCast: Live Stream Sports Reviews

I deleted and reinstalled SeasonCast and was told by season cast that some other changes were made, and our game broadcast tonight was a success! The video was clear and all my parents were able to see the game. We just started a tournament, so if all goes well I will update my rating as needed.

I’ve been using SeasonCast for about 2 months now, and have captured roughly 12-14 games. While I don’t have any problems setting up the games, the people who want to watch the games live are not able to. The screen seems to cycle from the “watch live” window to “starting game”, then back to “watch live” and so on and so on. So my parents are not having any luck watching the games live. I have contacts supper and haven’t heard anything. My first email sent over to them about 2 months ago with a follow up about once a week and nothing but radio silence. It’s disappointing because my son plays for one of the biggest parks in Florida and possibly the biggest park in north Florida so I have all star teams who would love to purchase this service. But they won’t because it doesn’t work the way it expected to. If you are looking to buy SeasonCast, I would live stream 3-4 games and if you don’t have any issues then maybe get the year subscription after that.

I’ve been using SeasonCast for less than a year to live stream my kids hockey games for my out of town family. It has worked great up until the last two times that I’ve gone live. On my end, SeasonCast says I am live and it records the game. On the viewer end, it says “Not Live”. The game still recorded and was saved. Today however, same problem of not being “live” even tho it said “live” but now, the game that I thought I was at least recording is not up. I’m getting an error message when I try to look at my events on the website. I’ve tried contacting support via email three times now and I get no response. I have deleted SeasonCast and tried to re-download and it does not fix the problem. There is no update to SeasonCast that I am missing. I paid for SeasonCast to use the extended features and I feel like I am not getting my money’s worth. I sincerely hope that this issue can be fixed because up until this point, it was a great app to be able to share my kids games live with my family.

SeasonCast doesn’t work well when broadcasting. I have been in rinks and tested WiFi with 2 separate IPhone 12 pro max and a IPhone 11 max all show only 5.5 g max on the connection but phones test at 150 plus g upload speed and still can’t get app to allow more than 5.5 g then as you start to broadcast SeasonCast drops and continues to drop the is so low won’t broadcast then will slowly climb back all while testing internet speed with separate phones that continue to test abound 150 g upload speed. Tried at my house a test and had same issue with a controlled WiFi. Additionally the 3 rinks that have great speed all confirm the speed is great as they upgraded with the new COVID-19 so people could broadcast and video. I also lowered the frame speed still no help. App doesn’t hold a good signal

SeasonCast is absolutely amazing! Perfect for any high school, club, or any other athletic team looking to produce video of games, workouts, trainings, etc! An app that exceeded my expectations and beyond. Set up is easy, video high quality, and SeasonCast itself is crucial for any athlete or team looking to improve their game. Wish I could give this a 10/10! 100% recommend.

I love SeasonCast I have been using it for over a year. There are some tricks you have to figure out and once you do it works great. SeasonCast isn’t perfect but I have made it work.

My problem with it right now is that the support for SeasonCast has gone MIA. I have emailed them and received there “we created a ticket and will get back to you in 24hrs”. It’s been over 45 days!!!! I haven’t heard a thing from them. When u call it says all the staff are busy will customers, and the waiting list is full then it just hangs up. Very disappointed right now.

By far, this is the best for the do it yourself broadcaster. I love the scoreboards and live scoring. It is easy to use and has a good amount of options, but not all work well. It however could use a pretty good amount of work on streaming when in less than desirable locations. It really should cache the games and if need be, buffer them till they are sent out. Even with 5G it can have issues. I have also had times where the broadcast is not saved in their app and we lost some great moments. It feels like I am paying $40 for a beta program.

Ditto on comments regarding latest update. Good got better but still not 5 stars great.

I appreciate the work that went into reducing cut outs and choppiness but there is still remnants of fragmenting or choppy projection. Even with healthy upload bandwidth there is evidence that the stream quality diminishes. The stream speed monitor seems to degrade over the length of the broadcast. It starts with 1500+ ms and steadily reduces to sometimes less than 100.

This is a great concept, but the execution and consistency are terrible. It works about 50% of the time, and looking at reviews it seems we have the same problems as others with SeasonCast saying we are live, but the actual broadcast not being available and no recording. Support is non-existent. The phone line is never answered, and they do not answer emails. They cut and paste the same response to negative reviews - it is clear they are cutting and pasting because it is the same response with the same grammatical errors. I really believe they are doing just enough to keep taking money, but providing no support or development. Not worth it.

Watched my daughter in a Junior Grand Prix event this weekend that my husband and she were at and I was not able to make. I couldn’t watch much of it because his baseball game started but I got to watch it later that day. It was great to sit with her and have her talk about her thoughts during the game.

So far only watched one game but for most part ok. Sometimes camera doesn’t pan fast enough and we miss action under basket. Score doesn’t seem to keep up. However with Covid this is our only opportunity to watch our grandgirls so we’re thankful

I got SeasonCast a week ago and already love it. Used it for my sons games this weekend and it allowed my parents and kids to watch it. Really easy to use, doesn’t drain your battery, overall a great app

I have been using this app since the beginning of SeasonCast . SeasonCast works great! It’s the customer support that really has gone downhill the last few months. They never answer the phone or emails. Even after multiple attempts it’s like they aren’t there any more. Sad, because it used to be an awesome company to work with.

Happy I found SeasonCast. My older parents can’t come to games because of COVID. So easy to use, even my 80 year old mom could navigate SeasonCast and now won’t miss a game.

My only complaint is that i wish it had integrated stats on the score box!

They are still taking money, but the streaming doesn’t always work and phone support is never working for last month. All emails for support over past month also are not being answered. It seems like they are no longer in business. Make sure you turn off your subscription before getting charged for getting nothing.

Tried the free version of SeasonCast and upgraded to the premium. SeasonCast itself is pretty slick. Unfortunately, I can’t log into my account and followed directions to reset the password at least 10 times. No luck. I emailed customer support twice and had a ticket opened, but 4 days later, no follow up. I called their number but “all reps are busy and our waitlist is full”. Seems fishy to me.

tried watching hockey tournament granddaughter was playing in this weekend. Thank goodness the announcers kept us in the games. The video went out, was scrambled, or stopped repeatedly. Not the first time this has happened. So disappointing.

It won’t let me record. Keeps saying That it needs something from me (access to the camera) even though everything has been approved! Paid for the subscription and it doesn’t work.

Easy for fans who cannot attend games, even for grandparents who may not be so quick with technology.

2020 Turkey Shoot-if the streaming intent to the viewer was to provide game coverage the grade is a D-. Frozen screens consistently occurred throughout the simulcast. The camera shakey and blurred at times. I want to be clearthe return of money is warranted, but all parents and scouts really wantI is you to take responsibility of your product, equipment and lessees to ensure quality!

Having multiple kids playing sports at different venues- SeasonCast has been a lifesaver! I can watch both sporting events and never miss a play.

I bought this so grandparents could watch my kids games. So easy for me to broadcast and grandparents to use. Homerun!

Does SeasonCast support cricket scoring on screen?

I purchased the membership online and through SeasonCast twice, but could not access the benefits or select the sport softball. I have requested a refund as the premium subscription does not work as advertised.
