After spending nearly a year trying to figure SeizureAlert up, we gave up. It’s far too glitchy and once you get one device connected, another disconnects.

I was not expecting a telemarketer to call me the next day hitting me up for about a free trial for SeizureAlert total bull ,scam don’t download.

Battery life was cute 1/2

SeizureAlert the past month or so has shown "error encountered in the server" and doesn't work at all. very frustrating when we pay monthly to use it and it's literally been useless

I downloaded SeizureAlert , but had not done any setup, and I got a call asking if I wanted to subscribe 😳 !

What? NOT OK.

My brother has tested this several times and only caretakers with android phones get the alerts. iOS users get nothing. And app usually says his watch is off.

Great app idea, few things that you should be cautious of.
If for whatever reason, the “patients” heart rate increases it will send a notification that they’re having a seizure.
Well, notification is a strong word. My phone just lit up three times with a push notification saying that my sister was having a seizure and that no one had responded. There wasn’t any noise or vibration and my sound was in and my do not disturb was not activated.
After three attempts of any caregiver not responding it kind of just stops, it doesn’t call anyone when it has numbers and it doesn’t call 911 with the patients location. So if they are having a seizure and worst case scenario you can’t physically see your phone it kind of just leaves it alone until you’re available to look and it may be to late.

The idea is a great one but it’s too touchy. It goes off all the time and now I’m like the girl who cried wolf. It goes off so much my husband has gotten to where he ignores it, so sometime when I really need help I won’t get it. This thing goes off so much I don’t even notice when it has gone off. I have a job where I move a lot, so sometimes I don’t notice it’s gone off or hear that it’s going off. So, yes, the idea is great but it definitely has problems and can’t and won’t work for a lot of people. I will say it has worked for me too! It has detected a couple of seizures and gone off at the correct time, so it does work, but there are flaws in the system too.

I can’t believe how easy to set SeizureAlert was. Only one thing I could think of that SeizureAlert needs is some kind of icon on the watch face to start SeizureAlert instead of having to scroll through SeizureAlert list.

SeizureAlert gives my wife and I some piece of mind since our oldest daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy. She can lead somewhat of a normal life knowing that we are just a push notification away!! The fact that we can have multiple caregivers notified when things go wrong is great being I work in a remote location that doesn’t allow phones. Keep up the great work and thank you for giving my family some normalcy back!!!!!
