I like the idea of Blurry , if only it functions the way it advertise because I found using Blurry very difficult unless you’re going to pay. Otherwise it’s not going to modify the details like it states which makes it harder to match because ideally you’re probably gonna be looking for someone with in your area region in instead, it will give you someone halfway across the world that does not really me what you’re looking for. It does not modify based off your likes what you’re interested in at all he doesn’t even met you with someone who similarly close and for that I feel like it’s a fail. I personally think Blurry has a lot of work. The only good thing I didn’t like was the AI feature in the voice feature because I do like to know what your voice sound like at the very least, but that’s all.

Let me tell you why that’s bad. You can like one person for free and somehow you’re expected to subscribe to do more than just send a like. If someone likes you good luck matching with them because you got one like. Honestly seems like a waste of time.

Yes I understand that apps have age rules but 18+ is a bit overage maybe you should have it like at 15+ or 13+

The past 2 days I've been trying to get matched. Blurry is dead.

Women get to use Blurry for free
Men have to pay $5 per match to talk to someone.

Every time I open Blurry it doesnt let me login , keep getting this message “Login Failed please try again” what should I do?

You have to pay to actually meet people. It repeats people constantly. And it isn’t connecting me to people after I hit the check.

Really great concept but the way they execute and design Blurry is a little confusing. First theres a queue for waiting to talk to people which makes no sense when they put up membership and pay walls where you can only friend one person every once in awhile, and you can only video chat if you are friends. In the commercial i watched for Blurry you can choose what location you want to people from but you cant even do that it sets you up randomly. So the “language exchange” that they advertised doesnt have that feature on Blurry either. Potentially this could be a great app and i dont have a problem with ads and paywalls/memberships, but there are way too many and its taking away from the experience

Blurry was better before you use to get more people to talk to you now is just lame

You’re probably considering getting Blurry thinking that it’s like Omegle video chat, but you and the stranger are blurred at first so you have a chance to get to know each other at first, but you’ve got the wrong idea. It’s got several layers of paywalls that cost a bunch, plus their own confusing mechanic (I believe is currency?) called ‘stars’.

This could have been a decent app if they didn’t go and make it cost money to talk other people. Anybody getting Blurry (like me) is already bad at talking to people, you really don’t have to go and make it harder for us.

I’ve used Blurry in the past and it worked just fine. I love the concept of it and everything, i had no complaints before but when i went to use it after a long while Blurry keeps saying “Error” “Server Error”. I’ve tried closing Blurry , opening again, checking if the wifi was the problem and using my phone data but it kept saying the same thing. I will change my review once Blurry works again. I hope is something temporary because if not, i’ll sadly delete it.

Seemed like a great idea for making friends in foreign counties to help with language learning. You basically can’t really do anything without paying a bunch of money. Worthless if you don’t feel like paying a ton to use it

EDIT: the reply to my original review is ridiculous. This is obviously run by people who barely understand the English language and have no idea how to handle customers. I said NOTHING about gender. I don’t care about gender. I said I wanted to look in other locations to find language friends, but you have to pay money for that, which defeats the purpose of this whole app. What a joke.

What the hell is wrong with Blurry?
I paid for the membership and I’m waiting in Blurry and nothing is working I’m not connecting with any one just keeping me waiting every time
I want my money back

I love the idea to meet new friends oversee but its not working even from the get go. Not sure if this is expected or if its just bug on production. Good luck dev team!

1)Can no longer choose girl only, I got to pay to choose.
2) can choose what state to search.
3) not option weather female is virgin or not.
4) not an option to know what language a person speak.

Ps. I’m not spending noting till this is in effect.

I used Blurry before and it was better. I liked how if you liked someone during the call you can message them, not Blurry doesn’t have this option. I am disappointed.

It’s not as bad as I think in the beginning! Very safe place to practice a language!
Wish you can upgrade to let us call the one we want - the one I had addfriend to!

I really love Blurry. You can match with people not based off of looks and off of personality and what matters. Where has Blurry been all my life. It’s literally the best dating app ever.

Blurry is really good as it allows you to get to know the person on a much deeper level before judging their face, definitely a great take on modern dating and would recommend.
