I bought the premium version of ILoveFilm only to discover that the grain settings are discarded when you save the photo to camera roll, thus losing its vintage feel. I reported this to the developer a few weeks ago and got no response. AVOID ILoveFilm AND LOOK ELSEWHERE.

ILoveFilm takes perfect,crisp images, then degrades them all the same, to give it that "vintage film" look, then they just add the same stupid filters everyone else had to begin with. Hipstamatic is far superior

ILoveFilm is fun and artistic when it works but more than not when I launch it it will take a LONG time to launch (iCloud photos can cause this problem with some apps but others have no issue) and many times it freezes or crashes. Hoping for some fixes to these problems.

And I’ll not just pay for the pro version but I’ll happily do monthly pay and give you 5 stars.

I can’t change the amount of grain and it appears not to scale with the image size. I don’t find many of the film stocks very convincing and many are super low contrast no solid blacks - with film this wouldn’t ever be the case if the film was developed and printed properly.

I’d prefer fewer authentic film stocks than breadth there they aren’t convincing. These minor tweaks of tone curves plus some invariable grain are just as easily done in snapseed which also has a million other tools.

I like how the pro version is a one time think you buy not a monthly subscription. And it’s not over priced and they even do limited time discounts sometimes. The only downside I had was you don’t have an account so when I switched phones I had to buy pro again because there is no login. other than that it’s a great app with cool filters and affects, and they are still adding to it... I think.

Still have to wait for loading of photos

it would be nice if we could have the option to take pictures with the volume button. So that and this is a 5 star app

Great app but the film grain doesn’t translate all the way when you save to your photos

Brings the presets from DxO Filmpak to iOS. Only problem I have (and it’s major) is I work with raw image files. ILF won’t load these files saved from Lightroom Mobile CC.

Excellent App it makes you understand the historical photography and helps you to analyze the old pictures. It also helps you to explain to someone who has questions about different colors.

Basically an all in one app to edit your film pictures. Can’t wait to start using all the available filters. In app purchases are definitely worth the money!

Been experimenting with BnW at bit. Was originally using ILoveFilm for processing. Now I’m loving the camera with the ability to see films before The Click.

Wonderful app. Very easy to use. The film effects are great! Add in light leaks and you can really create some expressive photos. The In App purchases are amazing value for what you get. Highly recommend 📷

Love ILoveFilm. Simple and intuitive tool for those of us who like to tweak our “digital film” photos.

I don’t ordinarily leave reviews, but ILoveFilm is worth it! Fricken’ LOVE IT!

Really responsive developer and ILoveFilm is working correctly now with the latest update:) It will even process my 50mp Canon 5ds raw files without hesitation. Now I can get a little closer to the old days/looks of shooting with my Nikon F3’s and Contax and Zeiss lens combos without having to be in the darkroom....Thanks for the awesome support!!
