Pointless

Doesn’t let you create an account unless your employer is part of the C-Pass? program. Thought the goal was to encourage people to ride the bus? Sorry, it’s 2018, I don’t carry exact change for a bus. Guess I’ll stick to driving or Uber, Lyft, and the scooters.

UPDATE IS BROKEN

Pass is now either too big, or some other issue, but isn’t registering on the machines. Update makes CPass unuseable. Forced to update despite knowing it wouldn’t go well. Horrible app from a horrible bus service. Get your stuff together COTA.

Update: it now logs you out every time you close it

Terrible interface, leaves much to be desired.

This is the least user friendly app of all the apps on my phone. What should be the most simple and quick transaction ever is turned into a dozen or so click process... considering you may be fumbling around on CCOH out in the cold/rain or on the bus holding up traffic, this is especially frustrating. I don’t see CCOH attracting too many new customers in its current state, which is sad for the future of public transportation.

Do not use

Half the time the busses scanners do not work, bus drivers don’t care and make you pay twice. Don’t use.

Disappointed

Im a student and have the free cota pass but now that I try to use it, it opens up a page that says “create wallet” and when I put my name and press create, it gives me a warning telling me its unable to get your wallet . Please try again. That app was working fine but now it’s impossible to get in and its been weeks now…now I got to pay for something that school gave me for free from the city make it make sense.

It’s been over a year

I was super excited to see that COTA was FINALLY rolling out a payment solution that doesn’t require cash because, well, this isn’t 1953 anymore and people haven’t carried cash around for a very long time now. That was a year ago, and CCOH STILL isn’t open to regular users, which is insane! I don’t know if COTA needs to hire a better systems integrator or what, but they’re getting ripped off by whoever they paid to design this system.

Doesn’t work

Downloaded it today to buy passes, but it won’t let me do anything. I tried to create an account, but since my employer doesn’t participate in the C-Pass program I couldn’t register. So all CCOH is apparently good for is getting alerts and contacting COTA.

Slow and outdated

CCOH takes at least 20-30 seconds to load and it’s a little glitchy. As for the actual service, COTA has never been on time. I would be utterly astonished if this bus ever arrived on time.

Furthermore, the bus itself isn’t bad. They’re actually pretty clean, modern, and safe compared to the Metro in Los Angeles.

Confusing

I tried to use my c-pass once my employer gave me the info to enroll. I’m so confused by CCOH. I tried to use it once and it said insufficient funds. I thought CCOH gave free bus rides for downtown workers? So why would I need to add funds? And when I try to add money, it doesn’t give me the option to do so.

Notaccessible to the blind and visually impaired

There is a lot of blind and visually impaired customers that use cota. CCOH does not work well with voiceover on the iPhone. Please work on making CCOH accessible with voiceover. I am myself and a few others would be willing to test and help with this.

Okay I guess

Never used a paid COTA bus before but really want to. Finally figured out they have an app to pay. I had no idea how to pay before

Why doesn’t CCOH let me use my location to figure out routes I can take? Why can’t I see where busses are? Lots of improvement needed if they wanted people like me to start riding the bus

Good Start, But Needs Work

Finally there’s a way to board a COTA bus electronically. But CCOH needs some work.

First it is slow to launch and generate a cpass code to be scanned. When people are waiting this can be frustrating.

Second CCOH is not optimized for iPhone X screens.

Third passes should integrate into Apple wallet.

Fourth add support for the Apple Watch.

App no longer works on iOS 13

CCOH worked fairly consistently until I updated to iOS 13. Now I can neither use my C-Pass nor purchase passes on CCOH .

I gave it three stars because I like it but it needs work

The only reason I did not give the full amount of stars because it is convenient I do like it however I also have a reduced fare passIn an order for me to buy a pass I will have to pay full price where I do not believe that’s correct I understand why it’s not available however that is something that the people that are disabled that have the legit pass should be able to add it and pay the amount that they’re entitled to if they did that I will have no problem giving five stars

Please rework screens

Why do you have to have all white backgrounds? Please switch to dark colors and save the light background for the pass screen. Give your users better battery life and less eye pain when CCOH is opened early mornings.

ITS 2019

Please make this available for all. I can’t go to stops to get passes all the time, this will help me so much!

Mobile pay!

I love the fact you can use your phone with CCOH to pay for a ride. I don’t like having cash a lot and since you can’t use a debit card to pay on the bus it’s nice to know you can pay through CCOH. Convenient.

Finally

Glad to finally have CCOH open to us in the general public. Works like a champ! Super simple to use once you have your wallet set up and I like the “alerts” function to let you know of any bus service interruptions.

Lack of knowledge by a user doesn’t make a bad app

This is a really easy to use app. The other user didn’t realize that the previous one wasn’t for the general public. Now that it is released for everyone it is pretty cool. Although I still use cash sometimes.

Open to regular users

Now CCOH is open for regular user and very convenient
