Why do I have to pay $30 just to see one person who sent a hi? That seems overboard. And not even giving a free trial is insane. I want to meet and talk to people, not go broke because I’m desperate. This is honestly the worst ways to ‘meet’ someone who can’t even talk to you back for long.

Honestly, when I saw this app, I was super excited to get to meet more people outside of my community, but everything requires payment. The idea was great, but having to pay for almost every interaction makes it so easy to delete Connecting . Looking at the other reviews, I agree with them. Connecting is money leeching and it seems like all the replies to the reviews from this app is copy and pasted and they have not necessarily made changes to Connecting to fulfill these feedback, so I have to give it a 1 star.

Would be better to see who’s liking my profile or say hi easily. I don’t think I should have to pay $30 on an app to talk to people what’s the point of Connecting if you can’t actually connect to people? Y’all should change that and fix how you have us communicate with others. I want to be able to use Connecting .

so basically if you wanna talk to people or say “hi” it costs money? so what’s the point of Connecting when all you can do is swipe. let alone, some people don’t want to pay that amount just to see who all said “hi” to you. literally all Connecting lets you do is swipe on people THATS IT, only if you choose not to pay. if you wanna text someone it also costs money, anyways it’s pointless.

If I could give ZERO stars or negative stars, I would. But we are forced to give at least one in order to send you a review.

What’s the point if you’re born before 1978? You can’t get past the registration because it won’t go further that 1978. And you can’t change your birthday once you set it. Maybe you should say that at the beginning. It would save people time.

I got a text by some guy and he was nice at first but then we talked and he asked me to show my chest and said that if i didn’t he was going to post it on twitter 😤 btw I did not show nothing about me and yet he showed me pictures of a woman naked and told me to do it like that and they are racism he also said he was tired of black women that’s a offense that he said that girls pls be careful with this like I said I deleted my account I can’t go into a app where their racism is bad and thier perverts

Y’all should really do a video or picture verification process so you don’t have so many scammers and fake profiles. Couple of real people but most of the other ones have the same story, live in one place but working out of country. They end up asking you for money to help get back home cuz of bank issues. They use famous people’s Instagram pictures. Before you talk. To anyone, reverse image search them and you’ll find inconsistencies in multiple profiles with different names.

When I saw the ad on insta I thought it would be pretty good but after setting up my account it says that I have to pay standard to at least chat with people. The ad gave me false advertisement making me think that this a a good app to chat with people when in reality you can’t even do that. And I personally think 30$ is too much to start off especially when you just downloaded Connecting , I am very disappointed.

Connecting is filled with fake Accounts. I had one person try to "expose me" by attaching a photo of a random d!ck to my face picture saying "ready to go viral? Send me money or I post you". So many accounts asking for my telegram and asking for money. Countless women who connect, say hi then don't answer ever again like any other app. I met ONE real person who I became friends with. Connecting is a joke if you're a man. Do not waste your time. I wish I could get a refund. I regret spending $30 on this horrible experience.

When someone “likes” or “greets” you, it costs money for you to see who greeted which means it’s literally impossible to “connect” with people on Connecting. If you have the basic free plan, then the only thing you can do is literally stare at pictures of people and like them. If someone likes you back, Connecting will tell you that someone “is greeting you”, but when you press the button to see who did, it pops up a premium subscription plan so you can’t actually check, rendering Connecting useless. What a disappointment 😔

Connecting would be so much better if u can talk to people for free more people would use Connecting, Connecting just seems like a cash grab sure there are benefits for paying for the plan but realistically the only thing they should be charging is for your profile to be put out more, but to use all the features is crazy, if 35,000 people pay the monthly plan that’s a million per month and there is definitely more people using Connecting, I understand Connecting is a cash grab but at least make it useable for people who don’t want to pay the monthly plan, or advertise that u need to spend 30 dollars a month on your adds but telling people that wouldn’t give ur app downloads that’s why they don’t market the monthly plan, even after I typed all this they won’t change Connecting

Not sure what the different subscription packages are for if you can’t even do anything unless you pay $30 upfront. Connecting itself is confusing and I can’t tell if the purpose of Connecting is for language exchange, or dating and flirting. I was hoping for a language partner but it’s pretty much a dating app which isn’t helpful because it’s likely an ‘online only’ dating app. Majority of the users live in another country or state. I’m a tad disappointed because I love the media content so much. Can I get clarity on how to use Connecting ? Thank you.

Hey, i personally think you guys should let see who sent us hi’s for free because we shouldn’t have to pay to see who wants to chat with us. I think that part should be free. I’ve only been able to talk to 1 person and I’ve had Connecting for 2 weeks. I can’t pay $30 to see who sent me a hi. Some people just can’t afford to pay that much just to talk to people.

I’ve had Connecting for a week. But I’ve only been able to speak with 4 people. I paid the $30 for a month because I enjoy speaking with people in other countries about different cultures. But I’ve noticed that it is NOT a 1-2 minute wait time. I think the longest I’ve waited to match up with someone has been an HOUR and I give up after that. I don’t know why my wait time is so long. It’s a great idea I’ve tried the countries Canada, Australia, and United Kingdom but I haven’t been able to meet anyone outside of the US except for 1 person in Japan (she was lovely) and 1 person in South Korea that was angry I was not fluent in Korean. It’s a great idea but it has not been worth $30. Please reduce the wait time.

i tried the premium version and the free version, and there honestly is very little difference between the two. with the free session, you can expect to match with MAYBE one or two people, because the people who swipe on you hardly ever show up in your feed. the paid version will allow you to match with a small handful of people. however, Connecting is full of bots and/or dead profiles. half of my matches are scammers and even though i swipe on literally everyone, i get very few matches. the paid version is also ridiculously expensive. the only reason i’m not giving this 1 star is because i have met 2 interesting people after a month of using it.

Honestly, they’re used to be a lot of ways to get free calls. They’re slowly cutting back rewards and tickets not to mention the absolutely outrageous membership prices. I’ve also had several instances where diamonds just left and I did not use them.

My phone works very well with little to no lag, but when I opened Connecting my phone started lagging. The lag wasn’t bad but when I was putting in my age, the apps submitted my age before I was even done(making my age inaccurate). I tried to leave Connecting to redo it but it wont let me.

The wait times to get matched with anyone is ridiculous, I’ve only been able to talk to one person because every other time I’ve tried I either gave up after 10 minutes or Connecting crashed while I was waiting. The calls are way too short, if you’re gonna make people wait that long to get matched the calls should be at least 10 minutes minimum, not 2. You can’t even get passed initial greetings with calls that short. Also, $30 a month for premium subscription is wild. If Connecting was REALLY good (ie barely any wait time per call, unlimited minutes, etc) then maybe, MAYBE $15 a month would be reasonable, $30 is crazy. If Connecting is mediocre at best without the premium subscription why would anyone want to pay the equivalent of 2 netflix subscriptions for it.

Connecting is a great idea some features could be better like when you send a hello I think having so many free conversations would be great like you get 10 free swipes a day to conversate with people and then the rest would be for subscription
