So IPTVSmartersPlayer loaded initially fine and quick. But quickly started to notice a few things. Anytime I connect my iPhone to my ear pods, I lose audio on my headsets and have to disconnect them from my phone and then reconnect again. Then…if I pause or rewind/fast forward the video, it disconnects again. I also purchased the premium version and tried to use AirPlay, but it only casts audio. Now I would like a refund of my premium purchase. May need to seek another option.

This is the third year I’ve subscribed to IPTVSmartersPlayer, and each year it just gets worse. The first year I got the subscription as a gift and it was fairly easy to find the game I wanted to watch, but IPTVSmartersPlayer buffering was really annoying. The next year, they made some changes which made the games a bit more difficult to find and the buffering continued. Admittedly, my internet speed was only 100mbps. It seems that each year I find some changes to IPTVSmartersPlayer , but the games become more and more difficult to find, as I have to scroll through every available network until I get to the. NFL network. The buffering is not too annoying now, since I now have 200mbps internet speed, but I just got a message that “…the video you are watching is no longer available. Please select another video.” Then I had to quit IPTVSmartersPlayer and reload it, scroll through all the networks, again, before I could get back to the game. The other annoying thing about IPTVSmartersPlayer is the fact that the video is about 3-5 seconds behind the audio.

All in all, two stars may well be too generous. I’ll have to try another sports app subscription next year. I’ve had it with this “IPTV” app.

IPTVSmartersPlayer has so much potential but it has bugs that cause headaches. First of all I’m paying for this but every time I want to watch a channel it takes forever to load, and when it does play it freezes every few minutes can’t enjoy watching my games. Second it’s always kicking me out of channels for no reason and throws me back to the home of IPTVSmartersPlayer . And for some reason these last couple of days no channels will play at all. Truly bad service alternative. They need to fix these quick

I got this service in February and every day I have to constantly reset it, it does not work properly. I’ve tried to reach out to someone via email however I never got a response back other than customer service telling me that this was a fraudulent account but you guys took my money and it plays sometimes and other times it don’t play. Tonight I can’t get it to play on either TV. So I would love for someone to reach out to me to tell me how to set this thing up so that I can get the service that I’ve paid for.

This review is in for AppleTV. Layout is O.K., however, you cannot back out/exit out of the menus and channels without sliding your finger up on the remote pad several times, sometimes it will get stuck in a menu and will not back out and you’ll have to kill IPTVSmartersPlayer and start over. My wife and kids find this very hard to use, and stopped using it because of this. I’ve had IPTVSmartersPlayer for a year, hoping this will get fixed, but no. So I’m going back to iPlay and GSE until this get fixed.

So this is one of my favorite apps to use on the go. It worked perfectly fine for many many months but just recently the crashing seems to be normal. I see the last update was 8months ago so it might be time they take a look at the crash reports. I mean the moment I login to the server everything works, but when I click on a tab to watch something IPTVSmartersPlayer automatically shuts down and forces me out.

Paid for app to cast to hotel’s Chromecast device from my iPhone. There are issues worth addressing and I hope the devs work them out.

Selected video stream whether it’s a movie or live TV show, doesn’t always stream. I get the initial handshake but no data across the data path as indicated by the loading bar along the bottom of the screen. Both app and chromecast are indicating a good connection and active stream, but the tv shows a “cast icon” in the center of the screen and in IPTVSmartersPlayer it says no media. The work around is to navigate back to the casted stream, stop/disconnect, and retry. Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to force close IPTVSmartersPlayer.

Channel changes on IPTVSmartersPlayer does not reflect on the TV. Once a stream is cast, it separates itself as an individual thread. The problem is if I want to change channels then I have to stop/disconnect cast, find new channel and cast again. This is very annoying TBH. In fact, this goes for everything, pausing movie, forward/rewind. The only way this can be accomplished is by tapping the cast icon and then you get the playback screen, but really it should leave you here in IPTVSmartersPlayer when casting or integerate those features back in the main play area

I have used Smarters before and while it’s good it’s far from perfect. I have been using Tivimate and there EPG is so simple and great. I would like to recommend to use a full epg window so that we can simply view the current playtime and what’s coming on in the next few hrs also with a mini preview window. How about adding a add and remove folder feature. That would be great for removing unwanted folders from appearing.. please update it IPTVSmartersPlayer again with those features and smarters will be solid.

Please add PIP!!!!

2 major things that need to be fixed/changed:

1. Add the ability to put your favorite channels in the exact order you want at anytime. (Alphabetically, etc.) Like being able to move a channel in your favorites list, and move it up or down the list and place it anywhere in the list you wish.

2. Fix the crash that happens when one of your favorites is removed. Example: If I add Cinemax to my favorites, and it gets changed on the other end, if I try to remove it from my favorites list, IPTVSmartersPlayer kicks me out of favorites. And that channel remains stuck in my favorites list.

I think it’s a solid overall app. I’m not sure what you really get with the paid version besides no ads, but I typically don’t see many ads. I see an Airplay option with premium now, but using an iPad already, that doesn’t help me. The ability to move channels into whichever group you choose, to make your own channel groupings and name them how you please, hiding certain channel groupings you don’t want to see, are all missing. The iptv channel groupings are a mess, and customizing them to your liking is a huge feature that needs to be added for this to be a great app.

The Samsung TV version of IPTVSmartersPlayer is horrible it doesn’t have a search it doesn’t resume where you left off on videos it doesn’t like your favorite anything it just groups everything together and half the time doesn’t even load the correct shows without a 62nd wait the mobile version and the tablet or iPad version of IPTVSmartersPlayer works wonderful I don’t know why the best part of what should be IPTVSmartersPlayer the one that should work the best is the one that doesn’t hardly function it’s ridiculous very disappointing and seems like people that created IPTVSmartersPlayer don’t care they just want money

IPTVSmartersPlayer is perfect for using IPTV but the issue i found with it that i cant use the airplay. When i try to connect to the TV it just send the sound of the video but it shows the picture of a music file i have on the music app in the iPhone.

The only thing that need to be fixed is the airplay on IPTVSmartersPlayer .

Glad to find an app that actually works! Definitely worth the price. Three improvements would make IPTVSmartersPlayer much easier to use:

1. A TV guide viewer and channel selector. Program guides aren’t visible until after selecting a channel currently.
2. Changing the layout of the current title of show playing. No need for it to take up such a large square on the screen next to the preview of the channel playing.
3. Ability to remove icons on the homepage, like Movies and Series you don’t have those.

There are many IPTV apps out there. This one actually WORKS!
thanks to the developer. Excellent work. Love to see the ability to move the master folders around so I can organize them as I want. Many packages have LOTS of folders of channels I don’t watch or use. I’d love to be able to hide the folders I don’t ever use.

Essentially a bug-free app. And I am an actual user...not a paid bot reviewer!

After the last update, IPTVSmartersPlayer keeps crashing when trying to open... also continues to have issues with paid premium version and non stop adds when switching channels... becoming such a pain... please fix these issues on the next update...
App use to work flawless before...

I have been looking for an app like this for a very very long time. I just wanted to say, awesome app! I love the accessability of it. It reads all the channels one by one to us like it's supposed to. It also doesn't cut out all the time, one of the things I don't like about internet TV. Believe me, if there was a way to give you a 10 I would. Thanks for this awesome app! I hope it stays for a long long time!

I had purchased the no adds a year ago.. all was good but since the last update adds are back ... can you fix ? I did restore purchase and even went to buy it again but it said already purchased.. I deleted app and reinstalled it .. still have adds .....

Love IPTVSmartersPlayer been using it for a year now. Only issue is I recently deleted IPTVSmartersPlayer and reinstalled it and now I lost my “pro” functions. I clicked on restore from purchase and nothing. I even paid for it again and it shows I have pro but none of the extra settings are there. Only having this issue on my iPhone. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

It is awesome to have 9000+ channels. But there are certain times a day where the buffering gets in the way of enjoying streaming. It is for sure not my internet nor the streaming device, both are tested and super fast. I hope they can fix the buffering issues.

It’s so nice to have IPTV Smarters back in IPTVSmartersPlayer Store, again. I missed you guys. While you were gone, I tried a bunch of other IPTV apps and they are sucked! This is the best IPTV app out there! There are a few things I’d like to see improved (sorting of favorites, screen sharing, & remove categories I’ll never watch), but I’m 110% satisfied compared to the other wannabes. Keep up the great work and please stay in IPTVSmartersPlayer Store.

This is a great app on iPhone and iPad, and it runs flawlessly on the Apple TV as well. Only issue I have is the Apple TV app does not flow very well with the Apple TV remote, it’s very bad, constant swipes instead of the menu button taking you back one page. Once the Apple TV remote is setup well this is easily 5 stars. So I’m complaining... but I’m not... if that makes sense.

*** Update*** Still can’t browse channels while watching tv.

In the previous Smarters ios app you could still scroll while watching your channel minimized, now the channel changes to whatever channel you fall on while scrolling... The ads have gotten terrible, to the point where I might just go back to GSE

Used to be the best IPTV app on all platforms. iOS version does not support multi view like other platforms. The latest update search function is broken. Still one of the good options for IOS and Apple TV but not the best. Hopefully search function will be fixed and multi screen added to Apple versions like the other versions on other platforms.

Just a little question - I love Little House on the Prairie and never get tired of it. But I am sick to death of only the first two seasons being shown over and over and over and over and over and over and ....... Is it possible to add more seasons???? Thank you.

Love IPTVSmartersPlayer on IPad and IPhone! The Apple TV app needs some attention! Not as user friendly, functions with remote are beyond confusing. Just need developers to put some attention to the Apple TV app so it can run as flawless as the other IOS platforms.

I work with this application. It’s so good but needs to promote.
1. Need to have caption option
It means you can see caption on the screen for some people who are deaf
2. If it can support ABC DEF instead of the channel number, you could press the numbers which is name of the channel, it would be fantastic.

If you can update it to remove the home bar from the bottom of the screen while watching. Other than that, IPTVSmartersPlayer works flawlessly! I love how people are mad about the url that they need to get from their service provider.

I love IPTVSmartersPlayer and been using it for awhile now. My only complaint is I wish we can see what’s on instead of the channel and some channels have a guide but it be the wrong program. But other than that love it but please fix that issue

Works flawlessly while I’m away from home. I agree with the other reviewer that the ability to create folders or edit my favorites would be great!
I paid a little more and got the Pro edition, I encourage others to do it too!

Great app! This is one of the best tv apps in IPTVSmartersPlayer Store hands down. Thanks a lot. Only issue I have is when I want to watch a tv or a movie I would love to download and watch it later. Can you guys make that possible on the next update ? Thanks anyways.
