Very inconvenient site. After each purchase I had to send receipts and make a claim because nothing was credited to my account! Then since I live in Hawai’i, they would not accept some receipts because it would land in a different day of purchase due it time difference. So I had to email and call customer service several times! Once reached, I do have to say they were nice, however I feel overall this app was not worth it compared to Rakuten where monies are placed in your account right away and no hassles! Now I can’t withdraw my earned funds from FlipGive….waiting on the site to get back to me!

They get you to make purchases you wouldn’t regularly, then won’t honor the deal. If you already shop at any stores listed, you must sign in as guest because anything associated with your account (free shipping, member only deals, etc) it will invalidate your claim. They send you a claim denial email stating that they won’t make money, but are fine with you spending money through their portal. Maybe just growing pains, but I’ve learned my lesson (only cost me $80). Oh also won’t let you unregister only signout, they keep your info forever. Only one star because it ends up actually costing you money while you are trying to save. Use ebates and donate yourself.

I don’t typically write reviews, but FlipGive is so bad, I think others should know. It’s very difficult to maneuver. You have to earn at least $100 to get your cash back. If you don’t get to $100, they take away the bonus offers earned. Then you have to request payment. I’m sure a lot of people simply just give up. If you are looking for good a cash back app, use Rakuten. They simply mail you a check periodically. You don’t have to request it. There is no minimum required for them to send you a check. Rakuten is easy, FlipGive is not.
