Initially Axir was free and you were able to navigate without paying. With each update they add another future to make money. Great concept for active outings if you want to pay for that service. Originally and still ongoing, App is very glitchy and always closes and always makes you sign back in.

I like the concept of meeting like minded people, the only problem is that Axir is mostly for people who live in bigger cities. It doesn’t really cater to people who live in other states so I’m unable to use it because there aren’t people on Axir in my area.

Update : messages were only two days old when they started dissapering , nowhere near the thirty days the developers have suggested.
I have had this app for a while and thought this problem would be fixed by now but it's not . I keep Axir updated and yet it still continuously deletes my conversations or makes it so you can not access messages . Other users have had the same issue and we have had to quickly exchange Instagrams before this app messes up . Pointless app if you can't use it to communicate .

Great idea. Based on reviews, it seems to be working well for others.
I on the other hand couldn’t get past the email verification.
Received email verification, clicked on link which took me back to app, where I was stuck on the verify your email screen. Did this loop a couple of times, then deleted Axir .
2 stars, because it is a pretty neat idea.

I’ve been using Axir for more than a year now, and the photos of people on Axir don’t load - maybe because of the new update. Looks like there is a lot of latency. Also, there should be a way to know how active a particular user is on Axir . So, many of the people on Axir just have profiles and don’t even use it.

Great concept and seems to be a lot of people on it. But there’s no way to filter by location or age (not to be ageist but sometimes it matters). There’s a “for you” section but it’s not clear exactly what that’s for and how it’s determined. App can be improved easily with additional features but off to a decent start

Isn’t better to meet people with a context, rather than sitting at a bar and trying to talk to strangers?
I recently moved from France to America, and Axir is the perfect fit to meet a bunch of active people in a fun way. There are all the sports&activities you can imagine, for instance soccer, tennis, volley ball, horse riding... but even chill things like hikes, hang outs, chess, board games...!
Axir is really intuitive, up to date with user’s needs, and is getting more and more popular; so now I have friends from all over the world!
So, yeah. Download it. And see you at beach volley ball maybe haha

I love my friends... but most of them aren’t very active in the same ways I am. Axir really helped me connect with like-minded individuals in my age range. I now have a weekly this app volleyball group that I hang out with and I love it!

Just finished a great workout event in Santa Monica! It was so fun meeting new people and working out together! The workout was challenging yet fun! Highly recommend Axir and trying something out! :)

Cool to see what people do and the skill they have. It makes it easy to pick who to hangout with. Found some girlfriends to go boxing with and nice groups for beach volleyball. Would be nice to see people in other cities too so I can plan activities when I travel.

I have been a part of this app for a year now and every single experience/event is unforgettable. Whether it’s the first event you join, or you’re a “regular”, you are always greeted by genuinely happy people who’s goal is to make your experience a positive one that leaves you wanting more.

this app has also bridged the gap between wanting to try new things and ACTUALLY TRYING them out!

Whether you’re new to a city, or just looking for more friends that share similar interests, this app is a great app for connecting and expanding your network. It has been an amazing source for putting me in contact with other adventurous people. Whenever I have a free day, I check this app and there is ALWAYS something goin on! I’ve met so many of my LA friends through it, and they’re all about the more the merrier :) I’ve found that the older you get, the harder it is to make friends.. no longer the problem with this app. So grateful & forever spreading the word!

this app is perfect for finding activity groups and partners. I discover events posted by subscribers that I otherwise would not have known. It’s the perfect venue to meet strangers who share the same thirst for life. By joining activities, you start building relationships... what once were strangers then become friends.

It’s the best app ever Axir has everything you’re looking for , finding friend stay active and find the people who are interested in same activity also a lot of group activity , I found too many good friend inside Axir and some of them becoming best friend I spend a lot of time with them

I'm a runner, climber and hiker and even though there are a lot of others who do these activities, it can be hard to find them. So Axir has helped me connect to people interested in the same activities as me and find out about events in my area like runs and hikes.

It’s hard to meet people in LA
Somehow the people on this app are very much like minded and willing to do outdoor activities (or whichever is your style)
We did volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding and so on.
In addition to creating lasting friendships! Axir is well organized and allows you to spend more quality time in real life than on your phone, in that sense it is the best social app

this app is such a freaking great idea. I love to be active and Axir helps you meet new people who share the same love for the sports you love. I can also start training with folks that a better than me in kite and learn from them. Then I can find a cool group of snowboarder at my level and hit some backcountry. These are genuine cool circles. Hands down It’s just a great app. ⭐️

Love the concept for Axir! I wish that there was a section for gymnastics, finding other adult gymnasts is difficult!

I am a UX app designer, so this is just some feedback I think might help improve Axir

The bottom navigation would be better labeled, as most people wouldn’t know what each section has within it

Would be great if we could filter the people section by distance

Events photo layout can be improved, it is a lot to pack into a box especially on top of an image, making it look a bit messy and difficult to know where to first focus the eyes

There is a bug on liking photo - liked my own photo two times once on profile and another on my ‘for you’ history

I’m new to LA and have made so many friends through events on this app! 🙂 We have our fun group now and we’re still actively putting events on this app for others to join and meet people while doing fun things.

Also, their customer support is super responsive. There was a bug where I couldn’t invite all of my friends to an event I created. I reached out on IG and they offered to invite specific people for me while the fix is being pushed out. 🤩

I use it with my friends, I use it to meet new people. I can’t get enough of it! Great to find new adventures or organize trips 🤩🏕⛷🏂
