I was looking through profiles, and literally every man on there is claiming to be a surgeon LOL! Also there are many duplicate profiles with the same pictures but with different bios and information. I do are also many male pictures that have female names which is a big red flag. This company should be more careful and have algorithms that prevent this from happening. Guaranteed more than half of these are fake profiles on Weworld! Check for yourself you will see exactly what I’m talking about!

OIL RIG SCAMMERS HAVE A SCRIPT THAT WILL FOLLOW OR AT LEAST RESEMBLE THIS:
Divorced (cheating) or wife died in child birth, serious illness or terrible accident
Has young child/children staying with family, a nanny or in boarding school
Born in one country but raised in another country and often living in yet another country
Both parents, whether living or dead, are from two different countries
Bank account is frozen for a variety of different reasons
Can't video chat due to security or regulations Those on an oil rig will often claim that the phone signal may trigger an explosion, yet they're using that phone to message you.
Oil Rig "workers" will always claim they have to personally replace equipment, PAY FOR MEALS, get internet, or upgrade their computer, but can't access their bank account to pay for it so you have to help them do so, generally by asking for gift cards.
Oil Rig "workers" will also have some disaster strike like a serious injury to themselves or a co-worker. Then they will need payment for a helicopter to get them off the rig or to pay for medical care before they will be allowed to leave the rig.

It's full of fake users; you need to be very careful. I'm not sure that the people behind the photo are who they say they are—I caught a couple of female users, in my case, laying with the basics like age, place of work, or where they were originally from. People use Weworld not for travel mates but for hookups and finding mates. Also, to contact anyone, you must pay, not even given a free trial period.

I thought it would be fun to find a pen pal like I had when I was a kid. Unfortunately Weworld has nothing but people trying to scam others. Every person I spoke to and mind you it was over 10+ would talk for awhile then ask if I had a WhatsApp. They would say I should join them there and they all claim to be investors and want you to invest money with them. It comical that these people are this stupid and would think anyone would actually fall for such a scam.

The main feedback is that of non premium accounts unable to see the people who wants to connect with them. What you could do is let the non premium account only see a limited amount per day. While premium can stay the same but I think that if you let the non premium accounts go through the people who wants to connect with them might help out Weworld a bit.

So I been a user of Weworld for a while. I enjoyed it so much but a couple of months ago I woke up to find out I got banned for no reason. The developers didn’t even let me know why I was banned. I even reached out via email and never got a reply. Just cause Weworld was decent I decide to give it a two star.

So the concept of Weworld is really great. But I only have one problem. Why should I pay to see people who actually wanna talk to me. It’s really frustrating because do you know how hard it is to find someone that you swiped right and they did the same ?

Isn’t it supposed to be an app where you connect with people ? Yes, I’m a bit mad because by saying that you need to pay to see people who wants to talk to you (even though I kinda understand why you do this) is like putting a huge wall.

It’s a good app but the thing I think you guys should change about it is having to pay to see who texted you and change it to pay to view more than 3 countries of people in it because it really have no use when I have to pay to see who chat with me and also change it to having to pay to change the gender of who you are looking for

The concept is fun, but Weworld lacks a lot of polish, especially with the algorithm. At first you get some matches, probably to keep you on Weworld . But then you get to watch your “Waiting” number of swipe rights build up (people waiting for you to also swipe right on them). Below 100, you can see the exact number of “Waiting” people increase or decrease with your swipes. And I could swipe for an hour with 70 potential matches, and get 0 matches and maybe the number will decrease to 68. That means I was shown maybe 2 matches in an hour. An hour is a LOT of swiping. That means they’re holding all of those potential matches behind a paywall, when they could easily be rotating some of them in the cycle. Once the “Waiting” is stuck at “99+”, it will stay that way forever, and you’ll just be getting ghost notifications that mean nothing and swiping for hours with no results. It’s just depressing to have to pay $9/mo for the opportunity to start a conversation, many of which will die out quickly. There’s also many bots, scams, and abandoned accounts that add to the feeling of swiping into the void, doing nothing productive. Wasted potential with what could be a super popular app.

I downloaded Weworld in hopes to be having conversations with international people but it just wasn’t that great. It has a basic swipe left or right function and apparently in order to see anyone who swiped on you, you have to pay for the premium package so I tried the trial but then even after that it didn’t do anything. I had a basic convo with one person, but other than that no bite.

I think it’s a good app. I really like the way things are arranged and the nationality and description options in the profile. I really like everything. It’s my first time with an app like this and I’m satisfied for the most part. I just had some difficulty when putting my birthday and it’s kind of difficult to swipe to see the pictures. Especially to see it completely. Plus, I’m not too happy with having to pay the amount given for the premium. I would say it’s too much. But if you’re lucky enough to find a match, then congrats! So I would say you should give it a try I guess and hope that there are some changes when it comes to the price. At least give a free trial or smth.

Ok, so I like how Weworld allows people to meet others around the world to make international friends or find more people who are like you. But what I don’t like is how when you have someone who swiped right (wants to chat) on you, you have to PAY for a premium membership to see who wants to chat with you along with chatting with others too. Also I don’t like how if someone uses an inappropriate profile picture, and you report it, nothing happens. Another concern is that sometimes the nationalities you want to search for to be friends with sometimes just runs out. Lastly, I don’t like how there isn’t like an undo button (maybe that’s just me in my opinion) like if I swiped left accidentally, there’s no undo. But overall I guess it’s nice, not amazing, but nice.

I know little can be done about this but I’m just sick of these “meet people” apps being overrun by scammers. You know the ones...the same rehearsed story. The are widowers, have a young child and are either in the army or now...new twist...in oil overseas. They steal other men’s pics and claim to be from an English speaking country (usually the US or the UK). I just deleted Weworld for this reason.

Needs a system to verify the fake profiles from the real ones. There’s definitely potential with Weworld but finding real people came be really difficult at times because I’ll end up talking to someone for a period of time who ends up not being real.

The this app app is okay. The best thing about it is its potential to connect you with people around the world and facilitate interesting conversations. The UI is fairly easy to navigate, but it lacks polish. I get the idea the developers bank pretty heavily on the backend matching algorithm. A lot of people seem to use Weworld as little more than a launch pad for connecting via other media, like Instagram.

As a mobile developer myself, here are some easy wins that I think would dramatically improve Weworld ’s quality:

Being able to select/copy text from the chat view. This would be extremely helpful if, say, you were having a conversation with someone who speaks a different language and you need to paste some text into Google translate (or if you really want to go crazy—sync with a third-party translation API and provide inline translations, sort of like what Twitter has for tweets! That would be a neat feature!)
The photo scroller in the profile view is kinda janky, and it’s often difficult to see an entire photo, particularly with the information pane covering the bottom third of the screen. It’d be nice if there was a way to open up a person’s photos and view them full-size.
The character limit for individual messages seems arbitrary and too small.
Message timestamps. Why are there no timestamps for messages?
Adding swipe options to the conversations/messages list.

I’ve only had Weworld for an hour or so but so far it’s pretty good! There’s a couple small bugs like the keyboard not always popping up but that’s really about it. I’ve gotten a few connections and only one has been a guy “looking for fun” 🙄
For the most part it’s literally just people looking to connect and practice new languages, which is awesome!

Past several weeks there’s been a bug in Weworld causing it to always either say “looks like you’re out of people” or showing me 1-3 profiles before doing so, despite that I currently have 38 on my “waiting” list.

Weworld is okay but people try to scam you by asking you to invest. It is a scam about 90% of the people I have talked to have tried to scam me

Through this app you can recognize people from all over the world, and Weworld will indicate the country the stranger likes, his nationality and language, and some more detailed information. You can use the information provided by these systems to choose and communicate with people who share your interests. Just through a small app can let you know different people in the world anytime, anywhere. This will be a very interesting user experience.

Weworld is really amazing I been using this ever since last year during the fall, and I came a very long way😂💗🫶🏾, I’ve met so many different people and they were all so nice it’s honestly ridiculous, most people say that there are scammers and people that uses others pictures, which I can see and understand, but me personally I never got scammed maybe since I’m young and the people that I talk to are young, really wouldn’t have interest interest of scamming people, but just looking for genuine friends. I’ve mostly have friends from Asia and I’m In the U.S📍and literally half of my followers are off Weworld😂. I’ve met people from Japan and China and they are the Sweetest And we talk mostly everyday even if it’s a time difference. Everyone is almost saying that you have to pay which is right you do, but in my case I never did. If I were you I would just swipe right on everyone, because you would never know who you could get matched with so it’s best to swipe right. You wouldn’t understand how that helps me with Weworld and talking to people(hopefully that helps the people out there that’s having problems with premium). Weworld it’s honestly better than InterPals period point blank. InterPals is the real place for cat fishers, and scammers, it’s honestly scary😭.Hopefully this helps everyone because this is a good app! So stay safe!😘💗
