Seattle Recycle Garbage Reviews

Started renting in a quad. It says it doesn’t have my address so it won’t tell me when to put out the trash. Those utilities are required to be in the landlords account but what I can’t figure is why seattle tries to hide when the garbage truck is going to come I have an authorized trash can but i guess I’m just suppose to not put it out 🤷🏻‍♂️. They really do make things as hard as humanly possible.

I know my collection day. I don’t need an App to remind me. I would love an App where I could easily find info/rules on accepted items for recycle (which number on those darn plastics are accepted), what goes in compost bins and what doesn’t. These used to be printed on the mailer SPU sent out every year, but dropped - probably for printing costs.
I deleted SeattleRecycleGarbage . All I have to do is go outside in the night before my collection to see if my neighbors have their blue bins out or not.

I like SeattleRecycleGarbage and it would be helpful if you listed what items are actually recyclable. It could make a huge difference cutting down contaminated loads, bundles and pallets of recyclable items.
This should be an easy fix for your developers.

I mainly use SeattleRecycleGarbage to check if it’s recycling collection week. Would be nice to have a “add to calendar” feature so I could just see my collection schedule in my Apple calendar instead of having to open SeattleRecycleGarbage each time. (hint hint developers!)

Love the weekly reminders. But during the recent icy weather there were no updates that came via SeattleRecycleGarbage . They came to our email instead. It would be great if everything was in one place.

When I say I would be more lost than a grape at a rasin convention, I mean it. I love SeattleRecycleGarbage because it sends me a reminder the day before the pick up and also tells me what bins to put out. I used to get the handout that SPUD sends out each year which lists the schedule. Now I don’t have to hunt for it anymore.

Makes it easy to look up anything waste-collection related, and it reminds me when it’s recycling week.

Enter your address into SeattleRecycleGarbage and then you can easily see your trash, compost, and recycling pickup schedules. Very helpful for when holidays push your normal pickup day or if you just cannot recall whether it is a recycling week. Simple, easy, and useful!

SeattleRecycleGarbage is as simple as allowing notifications and typing in your address and will always send you accurate alerts for trash pickup. Great for people like me who forget what day it is!

Not life changing but as others say its simple and does help week in and week out keep track of which cans to put on the curb.
Really helps and the alerts are a must.

I appreciated the help provided by SeattleRecycleGarbage . Good to easily always know what is being picked up for the week. It does what it says it does. But would love to some additional helpful features and links to “where does and it go”.

I don’t know why I didn’t have SeattleRecycleGarbage sooner. It takes all the guess work out of what pickup is coming, what happens with extra trash, recycling, or yard waste, and so much more.

Has quick links to the website for some basic, yet important info. Easy to use. A new fav.

Stumbled on SeattleRecycleGarbage when I couldn’t find the binder with the hard copy schedule. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer here, but now I don’t have to put the schedule in the notebook, remember where I put the notebook, and look up the schedule. Assuming I can find my phone, you have made my life simpler. Thank you!

Being in my 70’s and having a very busy schedule, SeattleRecycleGarbage helps me stay on track. I’ve used it for the last few pickups and I hate to say this but ….I’ve learned to depend on it. I no longer have to look at my neighbors bins to see what I need to put out now. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It feels weird to say I love an app that’s purpose is to remind me to put my trash out each week, but I LOVE SeattleRecycleGarbage! I actually learned a lot about what products and amounts are allowable for different services, I never forget to put my bins out, and I get notified when there are weather delays. It’s the most useful I have!

Works really really well. Someone definitely isn’t getting paid enough for this! It isn’t just simple notifications from a schedule, they’ll send out live updates for collection delays due to weather, etc.

Do I need SeattleRecycleGarbage? Absolutely not. Is it still one of maybe three apps total that I turn on notifications for? Yes.
It’s dumb that I need an app to tell me that Thursday is garbage day, but, I use it every week.
It’s useful, makes my life better, and reduces the ‘just put out recycle and hope it’s the right Thursday’ shuffle.
It also has information if I want it. It doesn’t make me dig three layers in to know if it’s recycle day. In the great wasteland of apps, this is one of very few that I’m happy to hear from.
Whoever built this should take a stab at fixing our roads, and dealing with our drug addiction and homelessness issues. Seems like it’s one of a few slam dunks the City of Seattle has cranked out.

Having moved a couple times lately, I often forget the utility pickup schedule. SeattleRecycleGarbage reminds me when and what to put out for pickup. Thank you Seattle!!!
