Whatever happened after the latest update - including the logo change and interface change, it has almost ruined SoftPads completely. We never had issues before using SoftPads for background pads in worship, but now there are consistent issues with the volume. If you’re not in SoftPads , it dims the volume. But the whole point is to put in on in the background - I use the same iPad for my music. Not loving all the new glitches :(

SoftPads is simple and does its job

but disappointed that there is no Audiobus or GarageBand support as promised by developer in description
Also when not is crossfade mode, has boundary clicks when starting or stopping ...Which is not a deal breaker .. since I mostly use crossfading but something to be looked into

Fantastic for adding that soft worshipful ambience. I keep it on my iPad next to my mic stand and use a small DI box with a volume knob zip tied to the stand. It runs through the church PA but I control it. Works excellent. My only asks for the developer are the ability to “Save to Set List” so you can save current selections and keys to a set list AND the ability to control the rate of modulation, sometimes I want that even slower, like adjusting it in a chorus pedal for guitar. Make this part of a Pro version and I will gladly pay for them. (You may also show enharmonic equivalents on the selection page as well as add minor keys). This is a great app that is not far from leaving every similar app in the dust.

Pads sound great. But please add support for side by side view on an iPad. Also the audio fades out if I bring another app up in sidebar mode. And cross fade / fade in/out time is too fast, let me adjust it. Otherwise an excellent app!

This a great app. Worth way more than the price. Love the different pads. Love being able to play multiple pads at once. I only wish it had a way to control the volume. Using the volume control buttons on the iPad are to disruptive, and doesn’t always work if you’re running multiple apps.

Changes the atmosphere and is continuous looping. Portable and plugs right into the churches DI box. I have been looking for this flexibility forever. Incredible app. Love this. Really builds the sound behind my band.

Very simple to use... really helps remove the dead space between songs. Midi support to start/stop and change keys would be awesome (think footswitch)... but otherwise, awesome app!

Makes creating ambiance so easy during a set. Crossfade and sound stacking is so fluid. Highly recommend to anyone trying to fill the empty spaces in a room while playing music.

i have used similar apps in the past and SoftPads has the best sounds of any one ive tried. like how u can blend sounds and easy to switch keys

I love SoftPads. I would highly recommend it, if you’re looking for great sounding pads. Also, you can use multiple pads at the same time to create awesome sounds.

I lead worship sing, and play piano and was looking for pads to fill in the sound. Found free stuff but after some research I decided to give SoftPads a try. Very simple, versatile, beautiful and affordable. Must have for any solo performer.

SoftPads has a great lay out and it’s simple design allows for smooth transitions between keys and can be managed by anyone in the band. Have used it for worship sets and it adds a great dynamic to the room! All around fantastic app!

SoftPads has changed my acoustic solo playing! If you’re looking for something to hold a background pad while you play over it this is it. I use it for my worship team at church and it’s perfect to be played underneath my acoustic, and also as holdovers in between songs and during worship. I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time… I used to just use scotch tape on the keyboard, lol.

I play in homes a lot with just my acoustic and my voice. Being able to have a tool like this to help fill dead space is great, and works a lot more smoothly than the competitors... for less money. Totally worth it.

This is the fourth app I’ve downloaded in my attempt to find a simple way to add pads to our church and this one is the best so far! Simple to use and the pads sound amazing! Only suggestion would be to be able to adjust the length of the cross fade.

Effective Simple Smart Only 2 performances in and the compliments /interest in my music has tripled! This board is so simple and easy to use anI’m not as tech savvy as most soeasy application is key! You can tell this was built by a musician and they nailed it!!! GREAT APP looking forward to new ones soon-Thanks soft pads!

It’s always so frustrating when your leading worship and then all of the sudden the time on the pad runs out and there’s the awkward moment of dead space before it restarts. Soft Pads has totally eliminated that and helps create an on going atmosphere of worship! I love SoftPads and all of the cool sounds you can make with it! Definitely worth the buy!

We only have 2 musicians in our worship team (keys & drums) and this is like adding a 3rd. I Set it up on my iPad in arms reach and it was able to layer pads changing the feel for each song and it made transitioning to songs in different keys smooth without that awkward moment of silence while changing keyboard settings. Great value so don’t hesitate. Wish I’d had this years ago

Great app! Sounds are quality, beautiful and extremely versatile. I love the stacking, and the cross fade makes stage-usage a breeze. Had one small issue and support got it resolved quickly - was user error. Might add an arrow or page dots or something on the interface so folks know that there’s a left and right menu. Other than that, brilliant app. Will continue to use. Makes this one-man-show sound much more full!

The person who designed SoftPads is a genius. Great sounds, great on the spot transitions, great for live music. Highly recommend buying this. Well worth the money.
