Giant Jumble Crosswords Reviews

I have several of David Hoyt’s games and really like them. The Jumble Crossword game has a few problems. The first one is that you do not always get the clues for the word to put into the grid. At least half the time I have to go back and re-pick the puzzle in order to get the clue word. It is a bother but easily done. Today I got the initial “bonus” word at the beginning but GiantJumbleCrosswords did not accept it. I reversed the two letter i’s and GiantJumbleCrosswords still didn’t accept it. I skipped the bonus word and it gave me the exact word I had put in several times. The last problem is a personal choice and just an exception. There is one game ad that features a war game with destroying tanks etc. I think the violence is in poor taste for this day and age. I thank Mr Hoyt for his other games. They are great! The programmers do a great job on them. Jumble Crossword does not meet the bar they set.

Am I the only user for whom GiantJumbleCrosswords frequently freezes?
GiantJumbleCrosswords also frequently cuts off my streaming audio. Am I the only user who has a podcast or ballgame on when I’m unjumbling?
Having said that, the premise of the game is fun and engaging, even if GiantJumbleCrosswords thinks the main city of a state is its “capital.”.
I have every intention of spending $2 to remove the ads—once the freezing ceases—but I gotta confess I’ll reallllly miss the ad for the spot remover with the lady who thought the spots were “freakles.”
So please lemme know if you’re having issues with GiantJumbleCrosswords freezing and/or cutting off your streaming audio!

Jumble Crossword is just as fun as Just Jumble, but it's different enough that you can play both games back-to-back without feeling like you're playing the same game.

Also, GiantJumbleCrosswords experience is much smoother than the original Jumble Crossword from years ago. There are a ton of pop-ups (usually for coins and challenges), but no long, obtrusive ads.

Download GiantJumbleCrosswords if you like word games; you won't be disappointed.

I paid twice now for the correct final answer to category M, which is Liverpool. The puzzle identified Liverpool as the answer both times and filled it in automatically, but won’t accept it as the answer. Won’t accept it either if I type it in. The rest of the letter categories work ok. I’ve been waiting for months for this to fix so I guess the developer doesn’t read his reviews. I really like the puzzles but don’t care much for the final question, but that’s personal preference.

Each day you have to unscramble a simple word and you get points for it. You can use these points to buy hints. Each game gives you points. Different levels and lots of fun. This is my all-time favorite game. I get to choose the difficulty and I get to relax and get lost in the game. If you like to be challenged and you want to use your brain on a different type of game, then this is the game for you!

For starters, there is no cloud sync. So, playing on one device does not sync it with other devices. Results on one device are not tallied on another. If you play the game on multiple devices expect to play the same puzzles again and again.
A lot of the word clues are repetitive. Nor are the clues interesting, like the NYT cRosswords. In fact, most clues are merely synonyms for the answer.
The hardest levels are not that difficult, and there are an insufficient number of puzzles. However, for a couple of bucks, it’s a good way to waste some time.

The Giant Jumble Crossword game is challenging and fun for all knowledge levels
"J-E" . It's not too hard but not too easy, it's just enough! I especially like the variety of layers of puzzles within each puzzle/game. I have finished all levels and have started over again at "J" and have accumulated almost 500,000 coins. If you like challenges, and if you like puzzles, you must try these.

I do enjoy the came, and most always find it challenging.

However, it is also frustrating. I paid the fee for no ads, but still get ads! My account was charged for the $1.99. To add insult to injury, I still get the ‘AdFree’ notices. And, the dadgum puzzle ads freeze very often and I can’t get out of them to get back to my Jumble puzzle. Most of the time I have to turn off the pad to get out out of the ad.

I’m addicted to Jumble Crosswords! I don’t know how it happened but it has! And now I’m running out of puzzles! I only play two a day hoping I can put off a time when l’ve run out! Please update as soon as possible! It’s the humanitarian kind of thing to do! Also, much thanks for all the good times this has brought me!

Word Jumble was always my favorite in the print newspapers, so I was happy to find GiantJumbleCrosswords. I like the different levels and I’m already in the hard level. And the final answer is usually educational or historical or trivia. And the companion app called Just Jumble which is like the old newspaper one with only the final jumble!

I love these puzzles, but what do I do with all the thousands of points I racked up? Are they transferable to any other of the other games?
When is the new J2 coming out?
These are real challenging, stimulating my brain!

I have never been a big puzzle guy until I retired NOW I can’t put this GREAT puzzle game down I’m on the Apple iPad when ever I have some time LOL which is always Really it’s a lot of fun and there are hundreds of puzzles Thanks guys for putting this Game on GiantJumbleCrosswords sites It’s FANTASTIC

As a life-long Scrabble Enthusiast, this game (as well as the original JUMBLE Game) are a bid thumbs up for me. It's great exercise for the brain, and entertaining, too. I highly recommend it to everyone who shares a similar love for words and word games, that stimulate the mind, while providing wholesome, educational entertainment. -JP

I’ve been playing for a few weeks and find this game entertaining and challenging. It gives my eyes and brain a workout. Like exercise, staying with hit will pay off. As you workout your brain, sharpen your skills and ability to solve the puzzles.

I absolutely love Jumble and this is great! However, I worked all the way to the’E’ and a puzzle froze on me. I went back to the J for fun; when I got to the ‘E’ there was the same frozen puzzle. So,I just went back to the beginning. I have tapped the send email and it does nothing. I love Jumble, please make it work

I’ve loved Jumbles and crosswords for a long time so to have them combined is a lot of fun! There’s no cute comic or play on words but the Jumbles themselves are a fun tease. They’re hard enough to make you think, but easy enough that you can work it out in a reasonable period of time. Best of the word puzzles.

Game is fun but because it doesn’t tell you what challenges are in process that span multiple games, it’s hard to track them so you don’t unintentionally lose one. The other issue is that some clues are really strange. I understand adding challenge but some were really off target. Also saw one or two misspellings.

Once again I am addicted to another Jumble game. I love this and just want to keep playing. Great addition to other Jumble games!!!

I’ve enjoyed the Jumble games via newspapers and printed books for over 10 years. This crossword game just adds one more to my list. The clues are sometimes challenging and usually vocabulary building worthy. If you like Jumble games, you’ll like this.
