A Challenge

I have several of David Hoyt’s games and really like them. The Jumble Crossword game has a few problems. The first one is that you do not always get the clues for the word to put into the grid. At least half the time I have to go back and re-pick the puzzle in order to get the clue word. It is a bother but easily done. Today I got the initial “bonus” word at the beginning but the app did not accept it. I reversed the two letter i’s and the app still didn’t accept it. I skipped the bonus word and it gave me the exact word I had put in several times. The last problem is a personal choice and just an exception. There is one game ad that features a war game with destroying tanks etc. I think the violence is in poor taste for this day and age. I thank Mr Hoyt for his other games. They are great! The programmers do a great job on them. Jumble Crossword does not meet the bar they set.
Fun Game, Needs Work

For starters, there is no cloud sync. So, playing on one device does not sync it with other devices. Results on one device are not tallied on another. If you play the game on multiple devices expect to play the same puzzles again and again.
A lot of the word clues are repetitive. Nor are the clues interesting, like the NYT cRosswords. In fact, most clues are merely synonyms for the answer.
The hardest levels are not that difficult, and there are an insufficient number of puzzles. However, for a couple of bucks, it’s a good way to waste some time.

Game is fun but because it doesn’t tell you what challenges are in process that span multiple games, it’s hard to track them so you don’t unintentionally lose one. The other issue is that some clues are really strange. I understand adding challenge but some were really off target. Also saw one or two misspellings.
