Sooo OnionCam2 is really good, I wanted a different one and then I saw this one so I was i was like oh well, this one also looks really good. But then I got it,and, it’s so much more complex then it has to be, I just want to make videos and being able to show my friends and family, but you have to export it and make it a document.. well, that’s why I wrote this I hope you understand, byeeeee

I saw the reviews, downloaded OnionCam2 , and right away, I knew it actually WAS easy to use! There is just one small problem though. There is no green screen option. And if there is, i cant find it. If its not already in OnionCam2 , add it, and please make it free to use! And if it already is in OnionCam2 , tell me where to find it! Thx!
Edit: I saw some arrows pointing each other in a circle and thought “Hey, what does this do?” I tapped it, and it kicked me out of OnionCam2 . What is it supposed to do?

I am giving OnionCam2 a 3 star review. It is very easy to use, and I really loved it when I had downloaded it, but when I tried to use the flip cam it restarted the whole app without any saved projects. Could you please fix this bug? I still use OnionCam2 but not very often anymore. Please take this bug into consideration and fix it whenever you want. Thank you for reading this review.

I was excited to use OnionCam2 for a stop motion. However, because I shot the photos on my digital camera, and there's no option to add photos from your camera roll, it's entirely non-functional for me. Pretty disappointing, as I've shot several stop motion minded photo series and can't make a video out of them because this and every other app I've tried can only make stop motions out of photos taken inside OnionCam2 .

So I was bored. And I wanted to make a stop motion video. So I was looking through apps and I saw this one. I looked at three of the reviews and they were all 5 stars. So I was like, ok this should be good. So I downloaded it. I made my movie. But when you watch it... ITS SOOO FAST! Even when you make it slower.. you have to watch it like 3 times to understand what’s happening. Really annoying. Also. I couldn’t put my voice in to add talking. So overall. I would not recommend OnionCam2. Unless these problems were fixed... don’t download it.

I love to make videos and I had a project due so I decided to make a stop motion video. I downloaded onion cam 2. I was making my video and with 5 more pictures to go I had reached the limit on how many photos you could take. I had to redo my entire project which meant redoing all of the photos but with less. I love OnionCam2 but I think they should expand the photo limit.

Overall, I think it’s a very great way to keep yourself entertained and it’s very easy to use. It definitely keeps you occupied. I kinda wish that there was an option to make the stop motion go slower, but overall I think it’s great. I also love the “onion skin” option (I think that’s the name) because it helps you keep track of the alignment of your photos and the last picture you just took. It’s very great!

Overall OnionCam2 is very good. Videos are great quality, ads aren’t intrusive and it’s easy to use. I do like the fact that you can see what photos you’ve taken, move them around and remove unwanted frames. This is a feature I don’t see on other stop motion apps. There are a few things in the interface, mainly with the history, that could change to help make this a five star app.
1. In the history (where you can see all the photos you’ve taken) make it so that the most recent image comes first. I’ve made a few long videos and decided to remove some frames at the end, but scrolling through 300+ photos is not ideal. You could add a filter that switches it between newest and oldest.
2. Add a multi select for removing frames. Again having to individually remove frames is quite annoying and tedious.
3. Fix the bug with moving frames. If you move a frame, you have to back out of history, then go back in. If you moved a frame from the bottom, this means a lot of scrolling. You also aren’t able to move beyond the visible frames, so it makes moving frames frustrating. Adding a multi select here would also help.

I love OnionCam2 so much, it has really made stop motion fun to use and makes it so easy to make videos. I only have 2 suggestions, and one of them is a pretty big game changer for me, the one that isn’t so bad is that you can’t have a video go over 1000 photos, which makes it so much more difficult to make longer films, but you can just make multiple parts instead, the big problem for me is audio and text, if you really want to have a story for your animation, dialogue is needed, and whenever an app doesn’t have it, it really changes your stop motion video

So when I downloaded this I was bored and wanted something to do and when I did I instantly loved it! It was so easy to make a cute stop-motion film it took me three minutes! By far the greatest stop-motion app ever it even shows what it would look like. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have sound so devs please add some sound otherwise amazing app!👍👍

I love OnionCam2 it’s very good for dinner so stop motion but I must say one thing I know I’ll stop motion app do this but if you’re looking to get OnionCam2 and you’re a beginner stop motion it will go very fast mine took me about 30 minutes just to get two seconds it was so fast and I don’t know how to slow down yet but I will figure it out but besides that it’s a very good app I think you should get it definitely get it if you’re a beginner

This is the first time I use anything with stop motion. I should’ve know how time consuming it could be considering you have to do everything frame by frame and move things little by little but it looks fun. I don’t know how other apps work but this one is so simple and easy to use. I don’t know if you’re able to add sound to other apps but it looks like you can’t with this one but I’m fine with that since I’m barley able to even make one movie. It’s easy and fun to use when you’re finally able to put at least 50 shots together. I only wish that it would move just a little slower but hey this is free so I can’t expect to get everything I want free.

If your a beginner this is a great app to use and I read a lot of other reviews and they thought that there was going to be certain stuff in OnionCam2 but there wasn’t so here what
You should and should not expect

1. Do not expect sound, so if you speak while taking each frame sound won’t come out, why? Well because your taking a picture not a video and what stop motion is doing is putting multiple pictures together and creating the motion hence the name.

2. Expect it to go fast, it WILL go fast and a way to make a scene go slower or certain movements is to just take more pictures.

Really fun if you like stop motion and is a little time consuming depending on what your doing.

I must say I haven’t used OnionCam2 much but when I have it takes a lot of time and effort. However it’s worth it to make an animation of your own and see how it turns out. There are functions to zoom in and out, change the brightness of photos and change the speed of transition between photos. Fun app but you must be patient with it also would love a way to just hold the button down and take many photos in a few seconds

I love how you can see the previous image you’ve taken so you have something to compare to. Makes for a very focused animation. The ads are not annoying at all, either. But a few things that make OnionCam2 more ‘decent’ than pretty-
1. You can’t duplicate images. I had a short animation that didn’t get the timing worked out very well, and my problem would’ve been solved if I had the option of duplicating pictures.
2. The settings don’t save. I came back to an animation I had zoomed in a bit and when I started working on it I couldn’t adjust the zoom to the precise size.
Overall, great , especially since it’s free.

I love this so much because of stop motion animation maker I had to delete it and downloaded it with your awesome app! Because I managed to make my first Godzilla stop motion yesterday although it was only 1 successful animation it was a swift with just a lil bit of minutes! If your looking for a easy stop motion program that you can understand in 5 minutes this is it. It gives you a tutorial and it has a see through image after every shot. This way if you knock your phone off the desk you can line it back up perfectly. Would suggest

I absolutely love OnionCam2. You have many options in the settings to build a specific type of video. The only problem, I hope they fix is when I try to turn the camera from the back camera to the front facing camera OnionCam2 crashes. I look forward to the update patching that.

OnionCam2 is easy to use its free and it shows your last clip but it takes to many pictures per second and its 12 frames per second is the slowest which is to big I wis it was 6 so it would go slower or 8 would be fine

I like how i can see the previous image! But my suggestion is, add a redo button for when i accidentally delete a photo. And fix the glitch in which there are random colorful lines on left and right when i delete a video.
