NOMO CAM - Point and Shoot Reviews

Hi there I am very excited about your system and trying to learn how to use it. I didn’t like that the camera viewer screen is very small 😂. I pray that there is a way to enlarge the viewer please let me know how to accomplish that goal. I was very happy 😊 with the amazing quality of the pictures. Is there a tutorial for your product? As I said this is my first step learning and I love ❤️ this so far and I am very willing to work hard at this and would appreciate all the help and support that I can get 😎. Do you have a Community group that I can visit and use?🥰. And again I thank you for your help have a fabulous time 👍🏽.

Let me just say if you love photography, you can’t go wrong with NOMOCAM. If you just bought a new iPhone 12 Pro Max like me, get NOMOCAM. I didn’t really know what my phone was capable of until I downloaded NOMOCAM. The cameras are amazing and I am blown away that I can see such differences in my photos with each camera. It’s like buying a whole bunch of different cameras and having them all in your pocket. Even if you know nothing about photography NOMOCAM makes it fun!

The one issue I have and maybe it’s simple but I can’t figure it out. On the VID 8 camera, when I record videos, if someone speaks I can’t hear them talk. Does it not record audio? It may be something simple and if so I would gladly change this review to 5* if I could figure that part out. It’s just I love the Super 8 feel to it and getting audio would be great if and somehow keeping the camera sound with it.

Overall, I love NOMOCAM and it’s amazing. I can’t recommend it enough.

I downloaded NOMOCAM and tried the 7-day free trial to check out each cameras. Even though I think that all of the NOMO cameras were great in its own unique way, I found myself deeply in love with EATS camera. So for the first time (this is the first in-app purchase that I did, ever!) , I decided to purchase the EATS camera. However, I just realized that I can’t import photos from my phone to NOMOCAM while using the EATS camera. Apparently, I need to be a NOMO PRO member in order to use this feature. I just assumed that I would be able to use this feature since some of the FREE NOMO cameras (INS W, Toy K, Toy F), already included the import photo feature. And the fact that I also paid for the EATS camera, I should be able to use this feature as a default.

I hope that you’ll enable the import photo feature if we purchase a certain camera with or WITHOUT the pro membership.

I'm uninstalling creative cloud. That's it. I used to be very into photography but lately have just fallen out with it because I no longer own an slr camera and more importantly I just don't have the time for long editing sessions to get a look I want.

Why spend $100/yr for Lightroom when all I really want are some nice looks and fun back in taking photos. For every day use, it's just too much work to try and get a perfectly crafted shot. I just want to capture the mood and return to the moment. NOMOCAM made me love photography again. Well done!

Once in a while I can rent a pro camera and dive into some heavy editing. But for day to day use? This is my go-to.

As a poor man, I can’t afford a Polaroid, let alone two three or more. Many friend said Nomo’s UI is so simple, and the sounds of shutter and printing are almost real. If you are a Polaroid user, congratulation to you , you will feel very excited for NoMo, because it will bring your Polaroid memories back, if you aren’t, just like me, don’t worry my friends, it will be the cheapest way to own your first Polaroid. When you use the camera of iOS, you are a photographer, but when you use NOMO, you are a creator. That’s all, let us enjoy the interesting of creating. (Sorry to flypig, I just bought two cameras , but didn’t purchase membership )

I love NOMOCAM and the way it emulates old school cameras. I especially like the shake phone to develop picture feature. But I think there should be a setting to turn off the white photo border on some of the cameras. I just find it annoying and painstaking to have to crop the image so the border isn’t there. If there is an already existing setting that does this, please let me know because I can’t seem to find it. But if not, please consider making this a feature. It’s very annoying and I presume that many other users can agree with me on this. Other than that issue, it’s a very nice app and I plan to use it as often as I can. I wish at least some of the other cameras were free to get, but whatever. Nice app.

Was at a concert the other night and thought I'd test out my new pro max camera. Everything was coming out way underexposed and I wasn't happy. So I went looking at my forgotten camera apps and played around with this. A lot of reviews focus on the film-like qualities given to the photographs, and as film shooter, I'm all for that aesthetic. However, even beyond that, th camera did a far better job properly exposing the subjects than the muddy unusableness from Apple's stock camera. Going to try pro now.

It’s a fantastic app they way you can use the cameras and the user interface is so easy and streamlined. However, They advertise new cameras every two weeks but hardly deliver. In fact the most recent camera was added 5 months ago before that it was 3 months (2 cameras in 8 months)… I know this person or team is working very hard on delivering quality updates but I would just like to see more than two new cameras a year for a yearly price we pay. I wouldn’t even mind the custom Polaroid cameras like the one with ir. Or maybe even a steampunk camera. Leica cameras are always amazing as well. Maybe even another video camera like a VHS or something.

Guys I’ve been looking for this kind of camera app through thousands of other ones and I finally found the best one! Every camera is built so well the filters are very accurate. The DOUBLE EXPOSURE feature is AMAZING!
They release new cameras every once in a while and you can subscribe for Premium and get all of them with future releases. There is too much to talk about just get it and find out yourself it’s the best!

I've been trying to make my own filter similar to a film camera for so long that I gave up. I stumbled across NOMOCAM by accident and I have to say it's been amazing. My only suggestions would be to have an option for the Instax border so it will auto-save without? I have to crop manually for every photo I take. Also, allowing to upload existing photos would be amazing. Or maybe a self-timer.

Either way, NOMOCAM is the best out there. Keep doing what you're doing! 💛 much appreciated.

If this was an app that allowed you to pay for every camera you want instead of having to have a subscription to use certain ones I would give it five stars. But I'm against subscription apps as a rule. Once I pay a fee, I want to have permanent access.

I've sank probably hundreds of dollars into Hipstamatic over the years because there was never any subscription or recurring fee involved. I have purchased every film, case, and lens available and will continue to do so.

Too bad the Nomo developers would rather have a few people subscribe instead of making all cameras available and encouraging more people to spend money to buy them individually. Subscription plans for apps like these are a ripoff.

I have tried out so many film filter apps out there and this one is truly the best and has the most realistic film filters. I never pay for apps, but I did with this one and it was 100% worth it. I’m impressed with the attention to detail in not only the appearance of the cameras, but the accuracy in colors and film appearance quality. Whoever is developing NOMOCAM really has done their research. Excited for some new cameras to come out.

This is definitely my favorite photography app of all time!!! I'm pretty sure I use it more than vsco and the iPhone camera. I'd love it even more though if there was an option to remove the cameras that you don't really use or want in the lineup at the bottom of the screen. Like if I download a camera and don't really like it, I have to click on or use the ones I like to move that one to the end. It's very inconvenient, so please look into making that possible! 🙏🏽

I usually never write reviews but this is the only disposable app that has lived up to my expectations. All other disposable apps completely over edit and saturate pictures to create a fake disposable look, but the cameras in NOMOCAM create images that are exactly like real disposables. My favorite camera is FR2 and I'm so happy that it's free! Also, the shutter sounds and other small features as well as exploring each camera is such a fun experience.

Great way to add that certain look to your photos without looking overboard on the filters. Best camera in the line up for me is the XPAN, wish Hasselblad or Fuji would make this camera digital but this is the next best thing! Only feature that’s missing is a way to organize the cameras, would like a way to group them. Currently just loads them up with what camera you used last.

This is one of the greatest apps i have ever used and I've been an iOS user since 2008. As someone that has only shot film for years (contax g2,t2,etc) and has a BFA NOMOCAM is the answer to film photographers looking to continue using the "look" of film. Nobody should have to spend so much time in photoshop. NOMOCAM produces an out-of-camera film emulsion look on the spot. And its not cheesy or fake at all. NOMOCAM needs to remain forever.

I love NOMOCAM the colors and the way it makes the pictures look exactly like if I was using the actual camera !!! But one suggestion I wish it had is that it had the option to make your favorite cameras so you don’t have to keep scrolling through them or trying to remember which one it was that you liked the most instead of checking one by one. But overall I love NOMOCAM

I love NOMOCAM, it’s amazing. I love the settings for each camera and the filters and frames, everything. In an age where every photo (or selfie) is supposed to be perfect I like the idea of imperfect and badly taken photos. Of not caring too much. Only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is the interface for selecting cameras; I think the interface could be improved because if you’re trying to find a specific camera it could take awhile.

I give NOMOCAM 2 stars because from the very minute I started using it a banner continually pops up asking me “are you enjoying NOMOCAM” and wanting me to rate it. In all honesty I don’t know if I am enjoying NOMOCAM yet since I’ve only been using it for two minutes! But since I’ve been prompted to rate it three times in those two minutes, my hope is that by rating it now, it will stop aggravating me and give me a fair chance to use NOMOCAM for a day or two, so I can then give it the rating it deserves. So for now, 2 stars. But who knows? It might rate 5 stars in the future, (or 1 star and a deletion if it continues to be obtrusive)!

The camera is like VSCO but with a very diverse set of filters live on your preview instead of doing things post-process which can lead to some remarkable looking photos.

One thing missing is support for a hardware camera button which is now available with Apple’s first-party iPhone Smart Battery case for the iPhone 11 Pro (also compatible with iPhone Xs and X). It would be quite useful to have this feature added and would make me switch entirely from the normal Camera app to Nomo completely.

I’ve had NOMO since at least February of 2017, and it is by far my favorite photographic app. I love the way it emulates all the various cameras with absolute precision. Each photo is unique, and I sometimes use it more than the actual camera app on my iPhone, if you can believe it. I love the import feature, too, in case I want to get a little creative with photos I’ve already taken. In short, I highly recommend it for either the novice or the pro looking for both a throwback and the creativity involved in taking photographs. Check it out if you haven’t already!

I have entire album of vintage photo apps but this is seriously a go-to.
Even having the 90 sec wait or shake for immediate exposure detail was such a nostalgic sentiment!
If I had to complain about anything, I would love it more if there was an option without the Polaroid framing or if the second cam didn’t have the time stamp mark. Just having the option would be nice ☺️ but that’s so minute compared to everything else!

Is it possible to allow users to rename cameras they have? It’s quite difficult to remember camera type and corresponding features by their original name and it takes time to read the introduction and find the right camera especially for users who downloaded all of them. People have various name systems and personalization will help offer better experiences. Thanks

NOMOCAM is so cool and actually kinda fun. it gives a super accurate polaroid look with the cute little frame. whats kind of funny is it develops and can develop faster if you also shake your phone 😂 which is fun to do. one of the best thing is that the free version is so good: you can take photos with the front and back camera and import photos from your own library. Totally recommend NOMOCAM

This is the best app of it’s kind because it’s all about taking the actual picture and how you compose it and not having to choose between all of these filters and adjustments. Very authentic photos! It’s hard to find thats nowadays. I love photography but the apps I’ve tried are too complex for my taste. If you enjoy photography (not just the editing part) you’d appreciate NOMOCAM.
