First thing you see when you open TORWebBrowserDarkOnion is three options to subscribe to use TORWebBrowserDarkOnion for a week month or year. You get 3 days for free and then they'll charge but I've tried these kind of trials many times and too many times ended up getting charged after I tried canceling the subscription before the trial expired, so I'm not gonna let this sketchy app and dev have my debit or credit card details and neither should you. Onion Browser is the original open sourced free tor browser for iOS that I can personally recommend though.

Somehow got to into paying for a year with no notice.. whatever if TORWebBrowserDarkOnion works for what I need it for but it doesn’t. Stay away at all costs. Barely opens any site without crashing. I’m on the most current version of everything. How do I get In contact with the developer?

But the 3 day trial doesn’t actually give 3 days to try it out,I was automatically charged the ten bucks which is why a single star rating is given.
It does work as advertised however

It promised a 3 day trial but immediately charged me $10 and doesn’t even work. Like at all. Not on WiFi not on cellular data. Just straight does not work at all for any purpose. Thanks for taking my money I guess you thieving pieces of human excrement.

I wasted 9.99 because TORWebBrowserDarkOnion does nothing. Says it won’t initialise and I have no time for it. Now I can’t get a refund even though I just paid 20 minutes ago. Giving me 30 days from now to use TORWebBrowserDarkOnion that doesn’t work. Gee thanks. Don’t bother.

What in the world why would I pay for something and not be able to use it??? Imagine going to a car dealership and they tell you to buy the car with out driving it… like come on now!!!

Anyone that is stupid enough to make it through the paywall has earned the right to lose their money. I didn’t get that far. This trash wants a commitment before even letting you try the software. It’s probably buggy, tracking, and not working, but you’ll never know until you throw them money.😂Hard pass- I’d recommend anyone with brains to do likewise.

From the outside it works great. You might have to use a ton of recaptcha, but all the links work. As soon as you try to login into anything, get ready for more recaptcha and maybe force close. If you make it through that, smooth sailing until you try to, comment, reply, watch, download or upload anything. Just be prepared for infinite recaptcha , force close, and errors. Well at least that was my experience but thank them for the 3day trail before I was out $30.

I was looking to see if the subscription would include a vpn, and as soon as I hit the subscription button it charged me and for a whole year without giving me an option to even see what the other subscription lengths were for and even though I have my iPhone set to require a password before charging. Apple support told me to go F myself and the stupid developers were no help and simply said “too bad”

Works great 80% of the time but crashes all the time! I wouldn’t say it’s worth the fee when they are plenty of free options. Fix the crashes!

i opted for the three day trial that ends on the 18th today is the 17th and it just tried to bill me a before my free trial is over!!! im super mad that needs to be looked into. that is really messed up especially sibce i only gave 20 dollars on my card it wasnt able to take my money because there wasn't enough but if there had been i would have been really mad
