I purchased supposedly timber ridge chairs as per the posting on mac.bid. When I went to pick it up a N. las begas there was only one chair in the opened box. I use Macbid a lot and never ever purchase the extra $7 assurance. But, when I won a small bid of $1 and looked at my bill, it was $1 plus the $3 and then another $7 for some kind of assurance. I did not ask for that.......Item is not worth that if $7 is added. Please advise
On July 8 I won 5 items but then I got the paper work off my conputer and they (mac Bids) charged me $7.00 each item as buyers assurance I did not activate that charge, so please remove it from my credit card. I purchased a number of items this weekend. The pick up date was shown as 7/9/25, which I scheduled my day for pick up. BUT, you guys changed the pick up date on many of the items as 7/7, ????????? I bought hearing aids and paid $889.58. I was excited to have gotten them for a decent price. I had read the reviews of that particular set and liked what I read. However, when I got them home, I could not register them in the Jabra app because they had already been registered. These should not have even been sold! This is the message I’ve send to MAC.BID 3 times now! I also started by contacting the warehouse a month ago and they said I just needed to wait longer for the refund. Waited another week or two and called back again and they said this time it might be due to his account being locked and said to contact the MAC.BID help email, which is what I have sent them below and still have not recieved a response!! This is not just a little bit of money and there should be absolutely no reason to not be receiving a response to resolve this issue, other than possibly needing my husbands bank card again. It should not have taken more than 7-14 business days for the refund they told us and we are now going on over a month!! I picked up won items at the Mac Bid in Uniontown PA. One item was not available on the floor when I was checking out. I asked for the item to be refunded because I drive an hour to get to the MAC BID in Uniontown. The man that was checking me out said he couldn't do that and that I needed to come back some other day to pick up said item. The man was rude and intimidating to me, an continually interrupted me when I tried to explain how far I have to drive. I am an older woman (68 years old) and this man was VERY RUDE and dismissive. He made me afraid. When I explained how I felt, he told me that I was suspended and couldn't use my MAC Bid account anymore. So not only did he not help me with a refund/or the item, he made me afraid and suspended my account so now I can't even track the item he wouldn't refund. I am just sick over this situation. I have spent over $3000. at MAC BID over the years and I don't understand how this man could do this. Please contact me and reinstate my suspended account. I love doing business with MAC BID and I don't think I should be punished because one of your male employees was having a bad day and took it out on me.

I arrived at Boardman location at 304 pm and was met in parking lot by a Mac bid associate who say they quit letting people in at 300 pm! Just picked up a Kenmore dishwasher from the Anderson, SC center. The dishwasher was advertised on your auction site a being "like new." It was in a cardboard carton -- that was about as "like new" as it got. When we removed the crating, we found the dishwasher was dented so badly the door would not stay shut. It was damaged in the front and in the rear of the body. The top rack would pull out but it would not shut back completely without being forced. We feel that we were misled and lied to. This dishwasher was certainly misrepresented and is not worth the almost $400.00 we paid for it. Lesson to the inexperienced like us -- don't believe everything you read or see on Mac.Bid. Be prepared to be cheated and misled.

I won a bid on a Craftsman lawn trimmer and picked it up at Pittsburgh Mills. Important parts were missing such as lower shaft and the trimmer head. I was able to find a company where I could purchase the lower shaft but have been unable to find the trimmer head. Several places were sold out. Spent time with an employee at Lowes searching with no success. I'm surprised that Mac.Bid would sell an item with important missing parts.
for the 2nd time i bid on an a/c unit and they had auto bid and every time i bid it auto bid higher, this is unfair and a disgrace to you company. i was bidding for a Midea a/c unit window and it was in beaver falls, this happened to me Wednesday and tonight, i got screwed and you need to see who won and kick them off the website because it unfair and very ignorant, I'm thinking on reporting this to the bbb because its qn unfair bidding technique. i feel this bidder should be blocked and prosecuted and have to lose all his winnings and fined i feel that a/c unit should be rewarded to e cause of this crap

I picked up a pair of Levi 505 jeans today that was not listed as damaged, but they were extremely worn, dirty, and torn. Does this happen often when purchasing clothing? I don’t want to continue to bid on clothing that belongs in a dumpster which is where these are going?
Bought a graco booster. I looked at the picture and it was in a sealed plastic bag so I assumed that the item had not been used. When I got it home it was missing the base and had no arms. What a rip off. I paid 21 dollars for this and if parts are missing it should be stated. I've shopped every week since they opened and it was great in the beginning but now its getting sloppy and items are being posted falsely. What you're seeing is not always what you're getting. Don't think it is worth my time to keep getting ripped off.

I have won a number of items at the McKees Rocks location and Washington location. I have a credit card on file and never received notification that my credit card wasn't charged. Nor I am showing that I won absolutely nothing that closed on Friday, July 1st. Things went very smooth when I initially joined, yet now it seems so screwed up! My father was there today to pick up my items. He provided my auction# 52381 and was only advised about the two blinds I purchased but no of the table that was purchased on 6/23/22. This table was to be picked up today or it was considered abandon. This item should not be considered abandon, as he was there today and was not provided advised about the table also. I know from when I have picked up my items in the past. All of my orders from all days are listed for pick up when I provide my auction#. He said the only items shown for pick up were the blinds. I still want my table that I won. I will have him come again tomorrow to collect.
i purchased a stationary bike from you guys and its smashed i got the warranty because ive been burned 2 other times i wanted to know what the next steps were and what the reimbursement process was. do i get reimbursed the buyers premium and lot fees as well. im extremely dissatisfied with the last few purchases they claimed it was open box and that they are looked at but with todays purchase of this bike even ray Charles could have seen this thing was broken with little or no observation. and that no time was spent to make sure it was not shattered or anything. i will be returning this and done with mac bid i just havent recieved any indication that its worth the time and effort that has to be put in everytime a purchase is made.

The app works fine, but buyer beware. Make sure that you understand that what you buy/win might not even work. I won an auction for a good paper shredder. It was listed as “open box”, not damaged. Got it home, and it doesn’t work. I notified them, and they told me I should have checked it at the pickup location, and they basically weren’t going to do anything. It had to be over 25 dollars (I paid 24 conveniently), and it had to be within 5 days of the auction (I had it shipped to a closer location for me, so it was past that window. Again, conveniently.) The original company couldn’t even help me, since I didn’t buy from them. They literally told me that it was junk when I described the problem to them (it would turn on, but wouldn’t make any noise or shred anything.) I get that it’s only 24 bucks. But I’m glad I didn’t spend hundreds on something, like one of their Roombas, for example. Could you imagine paying several hundred dollars, it not work, and you possibly be out all of that money. I’m just dissatisfied, and wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the stipulations of bidding/buying from them. At your own risk.

The update will probably stop me from bidding.
The app worked fine for the past year I’ve been using it. The newest update is basically a poor mobile version of their new website. It’s complete garbage to use. Search function is practically worthless and the simplistic design that allowed you to scroll quickly through items is now gone.
If the app is terrible, I can’t find items. If I can’t find items, I can’t bid on them.
Also, I have to agree with some other reviews I’ve seen. There’s a recent trend to list everything as “open box” when it’s clearly broken or missing components. Why have a “damaged” distinction if your “open box” also allows for damaged items?
Take some time to inspect the items and be honest with the description. If you continually disappoint your customers, you won’t have repeat business. You might be doing fine now but the business won’t survive without repeat customers.
My personal experience with M@C discount has been relatively good. I’ve gotten good deals on working items and only 1 or 2 small cost items that were broken or missing 70% of the contents (i.e. 2 out of 5 items in a set). I’d rate them as 4 stars if the newest app update was usable. But this is a rating of the app and it’s user experience.
