Useless for clackamas

I live in clackamas and there was no data within 20 miles of me. Not helpful.

Lag DANGEROUS

I’d give it zero stars if it were an option. Serious Bug: The data is there in a different view but the map data is seriously lagging. The map says it’s a 23 rating but it’s actually 73 on another page. We haven’t had a 23 rating in days! Sick ppl depend on this data. Fix this or remove OregonAir from the store. This isn’t a pizza delivery app. Sick ppl could wind-up in a hospital if they depend on your app. If you need correct data to manage your health look elsewhere. Great idea and nice layout but completely useless.

not for general user

OregonAir wasn’t designed for the average consumer. You can’t change from celsius to fahrenheit and offers no other information about conditions other than a smiley face or a number (no information to explain the meaning of the numbers or anything useful to people who want a deeper understanding of what it means). I found it to be pretty useless and deleted it. I found another app called Air Visual to be much more useful and user friendly.

No Fahrenheit Option

The State of Oregon mismanaging yet another project. They hired a UK company to develop OregonAir and didn’t bother requiring them to translate the temperature to fahrenheit.

Very Strange choice of app for Oregon

Bizarre that Oregon would choose this as a “go to” for you to date air quality info given that there are so few reporting areas and that the weather info, as others have mentioned is only in Celsius??

Doesn’t even launch.

Just downloaded; using an iPhone. No go!
Isn’t even getting past initial screen - hung up at opening.

Won’t open

This seems like a great idea, especially for fire season. Unfortunately OregonAir won’t even open so it’s not too useful.

No info for the Oregon Coast

This is not an app problem from what I have researched. But there is currently no information/monitoring of the coast of Oregon.

Often Fails

Data is usually hours old. No updates for a couple Years. No support whatsoever. Use AirNow by EPA instead. Their readings are usually within the past hour or so.

Ok, but needs proper temps

Please convert temps to display in fahrenheit. The temperature scale bar maxes out at 123°C which is 253°F; probably not what you intended.

Good but unstable

It’s great to have easy to understand AQI data and to be able to create favorite locations for a quick view. Lots of room for improvement though:
- AQI data changes rapidly but the data in OregonAir is always 2-3 hours behind, so you have to interpret trends.
- OregonAir crashes frequently. Seems to always crash when it can’t contact the server.
- needs to be a way to force an update rather than quitting and restarting OregonAir .

Location issue

Although we can see the map, and go to favorites to see the places selected by the user, there should be an option to have the map show just favorites. My location, Corvallis, does not appear on the map. I can see trends in my area, but that isn’t really what this site is meant to do, or maybe it is and my expectations are not in line with the developers goals.

Decent - Needs a Little Work

OregonAir works well and is uncluttered so it’s fairly easy to find the data you need. It doesn’t appear to auto refresh very frequently

Favorites

Currently unable to delete favorites from screen. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I can’t find it.

Not in Europe!

I would rate OregonAir higher if it gave the option of display temperatures in Imperial not just Celsius.

Air Temp

Need to include a Fahrenheit or Celsius button in settings... graphic scale is for Fahrenheit but unit are Celsius... need to be able to show units in Fahrenheit AND have the proper scale on the graphic scale

Good Air Quality Info

After checking several other air quality apps and online air quality info, OregonAir's info was the most consistently reliable. OregonAir is easy to use. It lists the air quality at the monitors that are closest to my location and other locations throughout the city and state, instead of just an overall air quality number for the entire city. It could use a couple of improvements, including listing the temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius and giving an explanation of what the air quality numbers and colors relate to. This info can be easily found in other locations. With the extreme smokey conditions from the wildfires this has become my go to app.

Great app & widget! Apple Watch complication please!

Late summer and fall OregonAir is a must have here in Central Oregon. I have the widget on my Home Screen and refer to it multiple times a day.

Now if it only had a complication on my Apple Watch it would be perfect.

Excellent Source of Information

Best and most accurate source of air quality information I have found and I tried many during the most recent wildfire outbreaks.

All You Need in a Simple Interface

Quick, efficient, and free of advertising! All the air quality info available is only one click away. It’s simple to switch between pollutant types and weather data. Info can be viewed on a map or in a list. Data is available as current, eight-hour average, 24-hour average, maximum, minimum, etc.

Useless

OregonAir will not stay open- it opens and closes in one movement.

OregonAir

Not useful, regular AQI sites have more info.

Temp fnht please

Degree for temp please this is oregon not Europe
