I type in a word/words and no translation takes place, nothing!

Not sure if it is because of my dark theme or just stellar design but you can read what you type and you can’t read the results. If it’s my theme I’m not changing it for one app

Didn’t do anything and required the downloading of another app to even use it.

It didn’t even try to translate the simple infinitive form of a word “offere”. I had full bars, it simply would not show anything besides a white screen and an add

I saw that I need to change my phone’s display settings but that’s totally ridiculous to ask a user to do

I type in a word, either English or Latin, and 90% of the time nothing happens. I hit search or translate and it just gives me a blank screen. And the ads pop up frequently and inconveniently! I just wanted the definitions, not even the conjugations/ declensions... Eheu.

Doesn’t show any results whatsoever. Only displays ads to download other apps. As a matter of fact, I’ll follow the advice to download a better app and delete this one.

I’ve never once had a single word translated. LatinEnglishDictionary only gives ads, and doesn’t function. There is no option to reach anyone for help.

It seems that the letters at the end of the alphabet cannot be found in the search field. Ex I cannot find the translation from Latin to English of “vale” and actually there is no way to see any word that starts with V in that mode. If you put A you will see all As words

LatinEnglishDictionary is not a true Latin dictionary. For verbs, a proper Latin dictionary will show the 4 parts of the verb to indicate the proper declension, etc. For nouns, the nominative and genitive to show the declension, etc. The meaning of any Latin sentence is based upon Latin grammar and the proper conjugation of verbs and the declension of nouns. LatinEnglishDictionary gives none of those. For anyone leaning Latin or the experienced Latinist, LatinEnglishDictionary is not for you.

After getting translated the language that you expect to receive the translation in has a white font on a white background. You can’t see the translation, however, you can still copy the word in it and view it in another place. Though at that point, you might as well think of getting a different app. If this is fixed, it would be loads better.

It’s not even a real dictionary. Why do I need to search the word when I just wanted a regular dictionary from A-Z

LatinEnglishDictionary doesn’t work at all, but the advertisements still load fine.

I had to put my phone into light mode to see the word but other than that I see no problem

Might be me but Latin translation is invisible, moving to viewable app.

-scroll down to display and brightness

- open it up.

- You should see an example of two iPhones

-select the “light” version of the two.

- go back to LatinEnglishDictionary and you will be able to read the characters

Excellent dictionary to have in hand to build vocabulary.

I really just needed to learn more Latin. Though, I am considering buying a physical dictionary. So I can put my notes and suppositions all over the margins to find possible cognates and false cognates.
