It’s pretty poorly developed. Everything is random luck; no real team building or improvements actually lead to better results. You’re held to the whim of the game. I made adjustments to lines, adjusted to the opponent, trained, upgraded, traded out players, lines. Accomplished nothing. It really boils down to if the game allows you to move to the next level or not. Support is non-existent - they ignore questions, don’t answer what you ask, offer zero guidance, and never fix the bugs that are in the game.

The games fun for a while until you realize that it’s a total scam the wins are totally random the team could be 1/3 the level of yours and you lose 5-0 it’s happened you could spend years and years playing and upgrading but every season the team who was 1/3 is now somehow barley better than you so you lose to play a season it’s 5 minutes but then you must wait 15 hours not joking this game is a total pay to win and then once you pay you still lose to that team who is 1/3 your power this time you lose 6-0 purposely CBS makes it to where your about to pass your season but somehow for 4 seasons in a row I’ve been 1 point of of passing with my best player this game is a total waste of time please do not get sucked into the game as I have it’s totally rigged for you to lose so you pay money and lose again this is not a game worth playing for even over a month and a half.

I am currently on season 33 with a level 58 team. This has taken a good amount of time in my opinion the season playoffs and finals should take less time to recharge or make the next season unlockable with requirements of challenges. Another flaw is within 30 minutes of playing, I've found me self unable to continue playing. Exhibitions done, pro games done and season waiting to finish. Equipment, training, coins, RP and cash gone. Not sure what solution is available but i'm addressing the problem.

The game is addictive and fun. I agree that getting stuck and missing the playoffs due to not wanting to pay 7$ every time makes it feel slow. I don’t mind paying for extras but I don’t like stopping my playoffs for it. Also a more minute breakdown of stats would be cool. Just to see what your player has done through all of the seasons and playoffs on their own screen. There are some stats but nothing broken down per player more than generic stuff and it’s not sortable. Make me pay for better cards NOT for playoffs!

Game is great but a few minor tweaks can be made. For starters, season times need to be shorter to maybe 10 to 12 hours tops. Another tweak is having some kind of booster pack if you don't qualify to level up. This way here an owner can either get training points or extra rep points or even cash to help with training their team. Finally, bring back bonuses for achieving goals in a season like you had in Franchise Football 2016.

Fun game, I like the training and equipment systems, and the achievements give something else to work towards other than just winning games. However, the game can get tedious due to the lack of actual involvement with playing in the game and the minimal amount of game modes. If you want a game where you are playing in the games, rather than building and managing the team, I suggest you look elsewhere. Otherwise, this game is a fun thing to check up on every now and then.

I got into this game after it was introduced to me by a friend. I was thoroughly enjoying it, and would be playing it daily. However, there was a hiatus where I stopped playing because I kept losing over and over again resulting in me being stuck at the same level. I came back to this game a couple months ago and am enjoying it once more, but it is just missing something. For one, I wish that players stats would transfer to their higher cards because it is difficult to get some of the achievements when my team is constantly changing, but some of the new players are just better versions of old. Also, I wish you could exchange players for cash or coins because they just become irrelevant. Lastly, I want a new mode to be introduced or something that might make use of clubs/clans to make the game more interactive with other players. Other than that, the game is enjoyable for something that you don’t have to spend a lot of time on!

This game is a very simple hockey simulator with inaccurate hockey statistics. It doesn’t allow proper line combinations such as 4 forward lines with 3 Defensive lines, no power play lines, no penalty kill lines, etc. that’s rather disappointing but I play it because of its simplicity. If they could update one thing, I would hope they add proper hockey assists. Seems like the game was made by soccer fans since players only get one assist per goal. At the end of the day the game is random and super simple, press play and watch a 5 sec sim of numbers dialing up on screen.

This game is very fun it is easy at the start but then you actually are in a franchise. I have only been playing this for a couple days. When you start getting good cards it starts getting really fun. But one problem when you finish a season which takes me about 10 minutes you have to wait 15 hours until the playoffs. This game can be a pay to win game but it does not have to be. My team is really good but i didn’t pay a cent. So overall a pretty great game. I recommend this game to anyone likes a good franchise and people that play hockey.

First of, this game is fun and repetitive (but in a fun way. Been playing it for a few months and never get tired of it. The one knack I have for this game, if you plan to advance “faster” you have to pay. You can play without paying but it’s a slow build. The rewards are very small. You only win 3-5 cash per exhibition but at random. You’ll be better off getting booster packs but they range from 2-40 cash from what I seen. 5–10 coins per season game reward. But I really wished the reward system was more rewarding, fun game but as you get along, I’m as of this post, hit lvl 50, the rewards are very lackluster.

Update: WARNING at level 50 you pay for every game outside of the regular season. That’s.99 cents for every exhibition and pro game, which racks up fast. Plus the regular season games don’t award cash or RP. They try to hook you then it’s only pay for play. If they had stuck to the original format where it was an option if you wanted to buy more games at the pro and exhibition levels they wouldn’t be losing me as a player. I am taking off two stars for the ambush, so one star overall.

I have really enjoyed FranchiseHockey. Fun to build a team and complete. I only wish you could trade or draft players. Hence the 4 not 5 star rating. But on the whole lots of fun.

I love the game so much but the 1 and only thing that I would change is how you can’t watch your team play. It is not that bad at all, but it would be a tiny bit better but I would give it 4.5 stars not 4 because the 1 thing isn’t bad enough to deduct a full star, but overall really fun game! I love the cards and every thing

If you want to actually play games, this isn’t for you. It’s a team building game so if you’ve always fancied yourself a GM, it’s right up your alley. Phone games lose me after about 3-4 days usually, but I’ve played this daily for 6 months now and don’t plan on abandoning it anytime soon. The only thing I’d like to see is a Draft feature - I’m draft obsessed so that’s my only real complaint.

Very fun game that will teach you a lot about hockey while also having your own fantasy team of player cards to collect. It is by far one of the best and most fun hockey games available to play on FranchiseHockey. If you are new into hockey or have been a long time fan this game is for everybody and anybody else who likes to watch and play hockey. I really enjoy collecting the character cards you can play for up to 1000 seasons I believe so there is a ton of gameplay. Collect your favorite players build a team and challenge others. Win championships. Upgrade players. Train players. Collect players. 10/10 recommended for any hockey fan

This game is absolutely amazing. it's easy to learn and it's very fun to play. you can get the best players from any year on your team and it can become powerful and unstoppable. the one thing that could be fixed is how long it takes for a season to end because waiting is kind of boring when you don't have exhibition or pro games.

This game allows you to coach and be the GM simultaneously. I actually enjoy passing time while I play this game. I only wish they gave more free games, 21 game season is good but since the games are so quick it doesn’t take much time to get through a season. To make up for that there are many extras that with building your team to have more to do, I really like the game

It’s fun and relatively simple. Haven’t had to pay for anything yet.

Only con is I feel the rewards are a little low. Find my self being stuck for a while. Once I get stuck I get my resources back and do a quick little progress then stuck again.

Will keep playing though. Also add the Vegas golden knights please.

This game can let you open packs and if you get really good you could open legend packs a tip to do is train every player on your team so there same amount except the goalie make them better than most players don’t get into a series til your players are good just train

It’s definitely a fun little game, but I think the wait time between seasons is a bit much. I think people that don’t want to pay to win should still be rewarded for patience, but it would be nice to get through more than one season attempt per day.

This is my favorite app on apple. I love how logging in every day you get prizes for your team. It’s a a great hockey app in general. The only thing is I think it would be cool to see if you could decide what goalie will be in net each game. For example for a season game I could chose if I wanted to use Fleury instead of like Tunka Rask, or like the opposite for another game (sorry for the bad spelling btw) but yeah would recommend
