I just got KinoGlitch yesterday. I love it already. I’ve done several pieces with it. It has many grids you can adjust as well as your foreground and background. Then the glitch effect. It’s just fabulous!

All kinds of artists besides glitch artists will love this one!

I LOVE KinoGlitch! I have used it many times over the years and its use has not only contributed to the piece I was as working on, but it also inspired me to move into new creative dimensions! Thanks!

Many (read this as most!) of my works are Atypical and abstract. My digital darkroom just added Kino Glitch to the arsenal!! Great app!

I would give KinoGlitch 5 stars but the fact that when you apply an effect the effect keeps running instead of providing a slider bar for the desired affect ot intensity bar. Also its no tutorial for using KinoGlitch

I’ve opened an image from my image library, applied an effect, and now, how the heck do I save the image and start a new one?? At the bottom of the screen are effect buttons and at the top it just says REC. I tried going to the developer’s site to the ‘Ask me anything” and although I’m logged into Tumblr, it won’t let me type anything into the box. So I have to give it one star. Sorry.

I’ve seen what this can do from someone else, but using it myself makes me a big fan! I will be telling my friends about this! You have a winner here!

Just purchased, endless editing possibilities. Lots of fun, great for abstract art creation. Well worth purchasing, already one of my favorite apps.

KinoGlitch is very simple with a lot of power

LOVE KinoGlitch but I’ve had it for a week and only successfully used it like 5 times, just keeps crashing on me...

I use this app so much, I would almost consider it my “medium” as far as digital art. It has become literally essential in my own personal workflow, and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve probably generated over 5000 images and videos with it alone.

It is not without a couple of problems, which I wouldn’t even sweat were they not such glaring ones. First and foremost, while KinoGlitch saves no tangible history of what you’ve opened in it, it does in fact have a data cache that builds up over time, causing KinoGlitch to eat up storage with no discernible advantage to it doing so. This cache can only be cleared by deleting and reinstalling KinoGlitch . This is fine as a band-aid fix, but should it ever get removed from KinoGlitch Store, you’d have to live with that cache bloating up your device forever, or irretrievably delete KinoGlitch (which I hope never happens!) Just adding a function that clears the cache would be incredible!

I’ve also found a bug that, when in either of the two main video modes, causes KinoGlitch to crash right at the moment of saving a video. Fine if you’ve just opened KinoGlitch , pretty infuriating when it happens after you’ve spent an hour or more obsessively tweaking every possible setting and getting the adjustment curves just right- mind you, there is no project saving function or undo history to recall from- the project is just lost forever. In any other art creation app, this would be a dealbreaker, but I’m standing firm in giving this 5 well deserved stars, because KinoGlitch is that important to me.

this app(and every app I’ve tried from this dev for that matter) does a lot of very specific, more esoteric things, and perhaps not everyone will find it as useful as I do, but you will not find a single other app that does what this one does.

Worth it.

It keeps asking me to pay again! It’s not the money, it’s the principle.
Otherwise, it’s a good app.

I love KinoGlitch I just now noticed the back feature of it though which allows you put a picture over in the movie you are recording completely hiding it made me feel like an idiot!! It’s great, though!

One of the best glitching apps out there!

This is honestly the first review I’ve ever written, but I had to just to say WOW! The effects you can pull off with this are awesome!
During the first time using this app you can get some pretty amazing turnouts, but after really digging in and tweakin with it for a bit, that’s when You’ll really say WOW!! Thanks dev(s), this thing rocks..!!
