Bubble Shooter Dragon Pop Reviews

This game is clickbait plain & simple.
I chose to play it in airplane mode because the game says you can *supposedly* play without Wi-Fi, and You can avoid watching the endless ads. BUT The game will only let you play up to seven levels before it says open “open box need network!” So in reality you do need Wi-Fi to play it so you can watch ads before, during, and after each level. If you want a booster, you have to watch an ad for that too. Now, doesn’t that sound like fun? You spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game.

And, of course, like most games, it will not give you the correct colors and you’ll need to use boosters. If you do choose to play in spite of the ads, it will become harder and harder to play without boosters. It can be done on some levels, but not all.

Other people have already mentioned that the previews are wrong for this game, but I’ll include it here anyway.

It doesn’t offer an option to get rid of ads. It’s too bad so many developers choose to lie and mislead people as to what their games are really like. I’m all for paying and supporting them, but I’m not about to support someone who resorts to clickbait and lies to lure you in.

This used to be such a fun game. I actually would have given it 5 stars, even with the ridiculous amount of ads. But for some reason, you changed it and added a completely useless scoring system. Now you have levels that give you 40 balls for a round that takes 3 hits and you get three stars. Then, you give us a level that takes 6 hits because you have to hit 6 lightning bolts, so you only give us 6 balls and you get ONE star! Why? You took a game that could be fun and entertaining for hours and turned it into a frustrating game. I used to love replaying a round so I could get 3 stars on every level. Now it’s impossible with your insane “scoring” system. If you give us 6 balls for a mandatory 6 hit level, GIVE THE THREE STARS IT DESERVES!! There’s no way to earn more than one star on those levels.

On level 3216. I have loved this game mainly because there was always a way to beat the level. I like a challenge but it seems like all of a sudden It seems impossible. Why are balls being taken away in middle of game? And leaves no chance of finishing. Can you explain how or why this is being done? There are no rules or explanation of what the new strategies are and why it does certain things. There are no explanation of the new challenges are. You have to just figure it out which I have been able to do up until now.

Continuing to try to complete 3216!!! It is entirely impossible! There is no reason as to have such an impossible level! You can’t even use the power ups to win it. Impossible and about to delete!

I would have given this game 5 stars if you didn’t change where the ball went when we get higher uo in levels. I am extremely accurate although in the higher levels that doesn’t matter because you could be spot on with the pointer and the ball goes somewhere else when released. That’s YOU cheating! And you do it so we will lose and need to purchase! It’s freaking b.s.! When people are good at the game THEY should be rewarded, YOU should not manipulate the game, act like your not manipulating the game like we are actually the ones messing up. I’ll go as far as I can without spending 1 red cent and then just delete you. CHEATER! It’s just a shame because you are likely to get people to spend money by being honest instead of deceptive.

This is a fun game to waste time to, but there are issues. The higher the level( I’m on 2,481), the more you are going to find repeats where it’s the same type pattern but with like, more balls to shoot. Still fun, but a little lazy on the developers part I think.
The other annoying thing is the ads.
They USED to be like 5 seconds. NOW they are 24 seconds, come in more frequently ( you get about 7-10 of them per game not including before and after each game) AND they blare awful music at you!
So I can’t listen to a podcast without having to mute the ad sound that comes screaming at me with zero warning at random times during the game. Not fun.
They recently added a question asking if one is 16 or older or 15 and younger and I have to answer it pretty much every other game.
You can remember what level I’m on, but not my age?
Immediately after answering the question you get a screaming 24 second commercial for some random game I would never play, and the ads become even MORE frequent!
It’s actually fairly torturous.
I used to play this game more often and recommend it to friends, but with the new ad format I’ve told everyone to just delete it and find a bubble shooter game that lets you purchase ad removal.
It’s a shame really because I used to love playing this game.

Absolutely love this game with one exception, in between each game you have to watch a 5-15 second add then hit the X to enter the game. This is fine unless EVERY time you hit the X it takes you to the You might like this page. Happens about 90% of the time. The only way to get it to stop is to completely close out of the game and restart. Extremely frustrating. I would also like to point out that most of the little 5-15 second adds have a white X on a white background. Again extremely frustrating. Fix these issues and you get a 5 star rating. The actual game once you get past all the frustrating X’s is great. I’ve been playing for a long time now. Several times I’ve completed and began again. Please fix these issues. If it helps I’m playing on an iPhone 12.

The last couple of months whenever I win a level there is such a long time lag that I start to think the screen has frozen. Then suddenly it pops back to life. What’s up with that?!
The other thing that bugs me are the political ads, especially those hidden behind a bogus poll. If I want to hear propaganda I can find that easy enough. Games are fun because you can avoid all that crap. Now I am bombarded even on a children’s game. I play the children’s version so I can avoid that nonsense.
Yes, bubble shooting with little dragons wants to tell me how to vote and insinuate if I don’t support a certain person then ... well, we all know the rest.
So now young children can play this game and tell me and everyone else how to vote! After all - they saw it on Bubble Shooter!
Bottom line, huge lag time and inappropriate advertising.

As for the game, I’ve been playing it for awhile & enjoy it overall. There are a few frustrating glitches when I got higher in the game (after level 1500 or so) that seemed to make a certain screen impossible to get through. I can’t say whether finally getting through a screen means that it was just challenging or if it was a glitch.
But at the end of the day, in the storm of social change, fear and a desperate need for effective action from our leaders, I just can’t stand these childish pro-Trump ads (i.e. “who’s better, Trump or Obama”...who the f** cares?? Why can’t Trump stand on his own actions now? And “who will I vote for? Trump or a do-nothing Democrat?” We are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic...is Trump the man of decisive action, taking care of the entire country equally right now? That’s the only question that I want to discuss. Anyway, I don’t need my game inserting propaganda, or developers and decision-makers approving ads that spew this crap. So, I’m deleting you and I thought you should know.

I thoroughly enjoy this game and like it better than any other I play. Since I got a new phone recently and had to reinstall it, however, the music from another game called Royal Match frequently plays in the background during the game. It is extremely discordant with the dinosaur bubble shooter game's music. Having both playing at the same time is annoying and distracting. Sometimes I put the phone on silent mode just for respite. I have deleted and reinstalled the game several times but that doesn't solve this issue. I love this game but I hate listening to Royal Match music playing over and over. Please make it stop.

I love bubble shooter games when i’m bored or waiting in my car for my kids to get out of school, and i can never have the sound on because it whistles so often and it’s not cute, also it seems to have the need to remind you before every level how the game works 🤷🏼‍♀️ the only other thing is i’ve gone through two islands of levels and i’m still ending each game with like 20 balls left over. the difficulty takes a long time to kick in. other than that cute game. just change the music and difficulty!

I’ve been playing this game for months and I love it I’m on level 2879 and a few levels ago I noticed it was taking longer to wait while the game is loading the next level, and if I need more ammo to shoot bubbles it also takes longer. I look for updates and never see if it’s been updated. I fear it will freeze and lose the game entirely. At the end of each level when all the bubbles are popping and confetti it takes a couple min before moving on. Wish someone knew what to tell me to do to clear it up. I’ll enjoy and hope to be back to say I have finished the whole game!!!

Hi, I’m currently at level 1985 and I have noticed that as I get higher in the levels, the amount of time from the start of the win page (flashes and exploding bubbles) until the next level starts, has gone from a few seconds to currently over 20 and the page is frozen. After the page freeze is over, everything goes back to normal. The other issue is that you need to include more instructions as you add on new features. You need a way for the user to learn how all of the options and new features work.

Fun game.

I feel like I’m in a movie when playing this game! The sound effects are AMAZING! This is my favorite game and I’m absolutely HOOKED! I would’ve given 5 stars but the aim is a bit touchy (as others have mentioned)and there’s wayyyyy tooooooo many ads. I’ll deal with the adds though, this game is definitely worth it! I haven’t experienced the 3 star issue(yet)as I’ve seen mentioned in other reviews. Hopefully I don’t because that’ll push me over the edge 🤦‍♀️ I have to have 3 stars before I move to the next level, even if it takes months. I’m a little (ok, a lot) weird that way. 😐 I really do love this game! Thank you to the developers! Highly recommended!

Deleted and reinstalled twice. After you reach about 2000 plays it starts to hang and not run correctly. After you reach around 2600 plays it begins to not even start. It hangs on the first screen and will not even get to the loading screen. That said, I like it above all the other half dozen bubble shooters I’ve tried. Reinstall is all I’ve been able to find to correct the issue.

UPDATE: the issues I mentioned have been fixed! Extra 10 balls after watching either a 5 second ad or 20-30 second ad on most levels has been added. However, I’ve reached the limit of 7500 levels and it seems there are no more. Game just ends with clouds moving across the screen. No more floating landscapes. I guess they never expected people to play past 7500 levels! Lol. This is still the absolute best BubbleShooter!

It’s a fun game to play. However, there are some faulty glitches. The sensor with touch seems a little off when you release the bubble, somehow it goes either one way or the other than the original shot. I thought maybe it was just the finger movement, however, when I just let it shoot with aiming, it still does the same glitch. Don’t know why it’s doing that. Also, the glitch of continuous commercials. Instead of playing commercials at some configuration of time, it plays commercials all the time! When you start the game, when you want to power up, and between stages. Gets annoying after awhile. If they play commercials between stages only, it would be better like the other free games.

This is the BEST game EVER!! I played the first time to the end. I tried other bubble shooting games. All hands down. I love that it is JUST bubble shooting. No side games, no competitions ,no play with friends just me competing against myself. Please don’t change this game. Every thing is already perfect. 💕💕💕💕.
I love this game. I play it beginning to end many times. BUT this go around is different. I’m in 400’s and I’ve had no dragons or no dinosaur in the twirly cage. Too many games where I have to pop the babies to get to the bubbles I want to pop and too many where I have to hit the bubble to change the color to move on. I love challenges but these are getting annoying. Before this go-round everything was perfect. Bring back the fun.

Hello as you know am in level 33 my mom played this game when she downloaded it sometimes the page freeze when I try to get out of the 8 mins ad it stuck me my mom is in a level 1000 she tries her best to pause the ad I have an iPhone pro but in my iPad I have service but not my iPhone pro it doesn’t have service my mom didn’t want me to get service but everyone have to can you stop the ads because it stuck me please i have downloaded and it started when I play the ads are still there it’s like 10 mins of ad it kept playing for Like 39 mins this game is fine.

This game is fine.

Developers: there seems to be an issue exiting levels- the game freezes and I have to tap my device multiple times to get it to go to next screen. Just thought you might need to upgrade your server.
Update: I still love the game but I want to bring to your attention that on the iPad Mini 5, one can not see what is on the top row due to the score bar. Is there a way y’all can fix this in a future update?

I like this bubble shoot game - a little simplified but very creative. I especially like the fact that the ads are only 5 seconds which makes them more bearable. I was able to get up to 102 in one sitting. Buts starting to get more difficult to get 3 stars on each level starting at level 82. Good thing I can go back to different levels and retry! Good work developers! I almost forgot to add that it’s hard to see what is on the top line cuz of the star bar/score and all. Is there a way y’all can fix this in the next update? This would make the experience so much better! Thx

I just now on 4 Mar 2020 hit level 600! For an old man like myself to do this is quite doable. Yea the ads are monotonous but at 5 seconds isn’t bad, the 30 second ads are few and far between it ain’t nothin but a thing. Ya gotta concentrate aim carefully, yer not gonna get 3 stars every time. That was hard for me to deal with at first, but after some time passed got easier to accept. Just like life yer not gonna have a gold star day every day you just do the best you can. It has taken me better part of a year to get to where I am, I don’t play this game every day maybe every other day. Take breaks even a day off from time to tome play some other game you like. This is a game don’t make it into something it is not. For me if I play one section and feel like I want to do another I do so it relaxes me takes my mind off my disability for just a little bit. Have fun with it, by the way....anyone know just how many levels there are? It should be fun to find out I think. Thanks to the developers, keep up the great work, keep the updates coming!

I used to play this game a couple of years ago. You guys have overhauled it so much, that it’s barely recognizable as the same game! However, I do recognize a couple of problems that I had back then, as well as now. The first one is aiming and shooting. I am very careful to aim exactly where I want the shot to go, and for some reason, it goes wide, one way or another, and doesn’t go where I had aimed! This usually happen when you’re about to shoot the winning bubble. That really pisses me off because I’ve just basically lost one of my shots and it usually just gets in the way of the next shot. The next problem is that once you reach a certain level (less than 100) no matter how well you play, or how many times you redo the level, trying different strategies each time. It will not give you 3 stars. That didn’t happen quite so early in the earlier version. And that pisses me off, too!
If necessary, you could add a drop-down box to offer subtle hints on what’s necessary to get your 3rd star. C’mon guys, it shouldn’t be that difficult so early in the game. If I can’t get my 3rd Star on every level, I will probably uninstall your game, and look elsewhere for something to waste my time on.
