I really love playing this game. But I have two major issues that’s causing me to get rid of it. First, I don’t mind the ads, however, there are several of them that the x to press to close it is so small and so far in the corner that you can’t close it out. I try to press the x and it takes me to XBlocks Store to download the ad. I can’t get back to my game. Secondly, I would pay to get rid of the ads but I feel it’s outrageous to have to pay a weekly, monthly or yearly fee to do so. All of the games I’ve downloaded offers a one time price. I think this is highway robbery. You can buy a game for less than getting rid of the ads on this one.

Downloaded XBlocks and promptly deleted it after reading through their privacy policy, which states they access your purchases, calendar, contacts, messages and social media activity. Not sure why a puzzle game would need to collect all this data unless they’re using this game as a way to mine people’s data and sell it to 3rd parties. XBlocks should be banned from XBlocks Store. Zero stars.

This game was very relaxing and addicting in a good way. Went to play yesterday and now all the pieces have a shadow/blurry effect and the lines shake. I played it for a few minute before I got a massive headache. Unless there’s a feature added to go back to a classic mode or ability to shut it off I will be uninstalling the game. The ads were intrusive enough but I understand needing to get paid, however this graphic update was horrible. From a solid 4 stars to 1.

I really enjoy this game. It is really relaxing. However the game freezes after about 10-15 minutes of play. I have to stop and go back after about ten minutes. It’s really annoying. I’ve read previous reviews from at least a year ago and it was doing it back then. Still not fixed.

I really liked this game until the recent update adding too many additional shapes that are too hard to get to fit u less you have more coins to use the option to change the position of the shape. It would be better if with this update the game gave the open for a “hard” level to use the new shapes.
Downloading a new game that is more fun to play.. losing every game unless I use coins isn’t fun..

Thanks for replying to my review. If you set a hard or easy choice or maybe allow us to change the direction of the shapes since you added new ones I would like that. That’s just a suggestion

The game is very enjoyable and helps me decompress after a long day. My only gripe, and the reason for 3 instead of 5 stars is the ads. I understand that the developers have to make money somehow - so I understand their place and necessity in XBlocks ecosystem. However, the audio/sound is so very annoying and disruptive. My phone is always set to vibrate and all of the sounds are off in the game. This does not stop the audio from playing from the ads. It is intermittent when this happens, it might be related to specific ads. Also, it always, ALWAYS mutes any music or podcast I have going to play the audio from the ad. And an option to silence the ad is not consistently available. This drives me absolutely bonkers. Sometimes my own audio will kick back on when the ad is over, other times I have to manually select play. I have some auditory sensitivity so it can be very unnerving in a lot of ways. Some type fix or controls for this would be very welcome. I apologize if there is a setting I missed that would control this but i cannot locate it.

First, let me say that I really like this game. It’s fun and easy to do, and I realize that seeing ads is the trade-off for using the free version. However, I’ve noticed the longer my session goes, the more ads I receive. It’s gotten so bad that my game is often interrupted by ads about every two to three moves. I don’t mind watching the occasional ad, but think it’s ridiculous to have so many during a game. I’ve thought about deleting XBlocks a couple of times.

If the number of ads are reduced, I would give this a higher rating.

It would also be nice to have a “back” or “undo” button. I play on an iPad, and every so often the blocks end up in a different place than where I intended, which is another source of frustration.

I like the level of difficulty. It’s just right. I paid for ads free. Worth it because it’s not a monthly deal. If you want to continue a good run you have to watch a short ad tho. It retrospect it makes sense and is a small price to pay. The sensory aspect is just right in my opinion. If it was pinpoint accurate your finger would be in the way! You’ll get used to it. I recommend!

Some phases go smoothly and some are nearly impossible. Like why do you get three or four 9 blocks and a 5 line with two or three L shapes. I like the challenge but not ridiculously impossible shapes that come all at once. Combinations that could not fit on the whole board even if it was completely cleared are frustrating.

I liked XBlocks with the black background and the colored blocks. Now it’s all green and white ( almost transparent) blocks. It is hard to see and the board is confusing because you think the black parts are out of bounds. This is because of the grid onboard. But they are not. Grrrrrr.......would give it no stars if I just started playing it. Time to go back to a Woody game.

I may have been given one chance to purchase and rid the game from annoying ads, but I declined. Since then, I have looked through settings and have found no means for accomplishing this. I like the game, but DO NOT WANT ANY MORE ADS!

Have been playing for several months and very much enjoy it and with no problems. However about two weeks ago after a few minutes of normal play it would make my iPhone X start to run hot and the game would slow down and almost freeze at times. This is the only app or game that this happens with. If I wait a couple hours I can repeat this same sequence of play for about 5-7 minutes before it slows to a crawl. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks.

I love this game! It’s really great when I need to “check out” for a minute to clear my mind. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s glitchy. There seems to be a lag time when moving blocks. There are also too many ads!!! An ad even popped up as I was writing this review!

I have so many games on my computer, cell phone and iPad but this one truly keeps my attention span for hours. If you are on the fence about It, just hop off and start using the brain cells they say most of never use! So, or DC

Hello, is the ad free charge a ‘pay and you are done with ads forever’ charge, a yearly subscription or etc?

I love this game
I have noticed that some people seem to be able to log into this game registering thei name. But most show on the leaderboard as Guest. It would be better for me if I could log in to keep my game going…especially when I change phones I have to start over at 0

This is so much fun to play thank you for allowing me to play this game and it is so much better than Tom Gold Run!!!? Keep on making fun games for everyone. Keep it up and do NOT let me down.

I’ve been playing this game on a daily basis. The newest update makes it really cool. The creators are really great about responding to app support emails. I just can’t stop playing! I’m off to see what other games these great people have!

I have been addicted to this game. So much so I have to set a timer to stop playing it or else I’ll play it for hours!! I like that there isn’t a ton of ads and it offers breaks (which those breaks have ads but you only watch 8-10 sec of the ad and then you can skip it). Over all it’s a blast. Enjoy!!

This game is amazing! I would say it’s better than blockudoku in so many ways!❤️like I can go to soduku mode and I can go to just the line mode. It also gives me the best blocks i need to finish the line or block. Since I just started playing the game last week I would have a low score but when I first tried my high score got to 1,440! Overall this game is great!❤️
