App drains battery in background

As another user mentioned, the app drains battery in the background. I had it opened for a few minutes to try it, but a day later my battery was draining faster than usual. The app using the most battery by far was this app as it ran for 22 hours in the background (and there’s no options for background refresh for this app in iOS settings). The developer replied to another user in December stating it would be fixed in a future update, but it’s been 11 months since the last update and am starting to regret purchasing this app if it takes a long time for this glitch to be fixed. The audio itself is great, but I’m hesitant to even have this app on my phone until the issue is resolved.
Great sounds, but will drain your battery

Love the app, but if you don’t actively kill it after you’re done listening, it will continue to drain your battery in the background. A fix was promised, but never delivered. You’re better off avoiding until the issue is resolved.
The soundscapes are breathtaking.

Seriously will always love this app. Loving all the new features but the one I wanted most didn’t come, Airplay 2 support. I have a HomePod which I use as my main home speaker but can only use my old Bluetooth speaker with this app. I would literally pay to have this feature...
