This game seems very interesting and I’d love to play it but honestly it’s disheartening when you play a game that gives you the option to make your character, and all of the options are Caucasian/European... As a lover of many romance visual novel type games like this, I was so excited to give this a shot, but I cannot bring myself to play something that seems to disregard people of color like myself. Gamers come in many shades and features, and you’d think that in this day and age creators would aim to spread diversity so *everyone* can easily enjoy it, not just a few.

I’m giving this game three stars instead of one because I read another comment that criticizes the lack of diversity, and the developer replied that they’re working on adding more features in an upcoming update. I hope this is true, and will only play this game once/if that happens. I sincerely hope the developers learn from this, and from now on remember to include people from the very start, not when people tell them to. It may not seem like that big of a deal if you’re someone who’s constantly represented, but to those of us who aren’t it really hurts to see it continue even now when diversity is finally becoming more mainstream.

At first I left a review for 4 stars, then 3, and now 2. The more I play the more upset I get.

The biggest issue I’d say is that there’s no way to know which specific choice/choices you made had an impact. What’s infuriating is I’ve spent $20 on gems for this game (the first game in which I’ve EVER spent money) because I was so impressed with the first story I read, Queen in 30 Days. Playing Moonborn end of game spoiler: it’s ridiculous that only one choice I made negatively impacted my relationship with Max, but throughout the rest of the game it was positive. Apparently it didn’t matter though, because the rest of the game it said “your relationship with Max is too low to ___” and in the end he ended up dead. It pisses me off that I spent $20 on a game that I couldn’t even get a happy ending with. Far too many of the game-influencing choices required gems, and a lot of them too!!!! I think the most expensive choice was 97 gems!!! Ridiculous.

Developers should include at the end of every chapter/season what influencing choices were made so that the player can go back to make a different choice for a different ending if they so desire. If this were the case I would be happy to play again, maybe even spend more gems. All that happened now is that I won’t be playing anymore stories at all because this story completely wasted my time and money.

Do NOT recommend this game.

It’s so great I love the game however I don’t think you should have to pay to chose choices so that they won’t take away your authority 😕 I shouldn’t have the lesser experience because I can’t pay I can understand if you do it to unlock cool prizes and dresses and stuff but don’t punish the player because they chose not to spend money it’s the first time it’s happened and I hope it doesn’t continue also it’s really hard to get a relationship with any of the characters because you have to pay money especially if you tried to stay Neutral in the beginning but other than that the game is fun and exciting!

Update: I noticed that this issue continues to happen idk if it’s because you want more money but the outcome of the story shouldn’t be determined on how much you spend for diamonds it’s ruining the experience also I feel like there needs to be more points given out throughout a chapter it’s hard to get the recommended amount if you mess up one of the questions in the slightest bit

I love this game. Really obsessed with it, playing for more than two years with my both accounts. Often spend real money for the cups, but! When they started new event with free diamonds, one of my accounts lost all the diamond progress and most of the game progress. I never missed a day, opening game for several times a day to get free diamonds. And didn’t want to start from the beginning. I told about my problem to customer support, they didn’t even normally read my message and gave me an answer “you should open the game at least once a day”. R u serious?! And that’s it! I checked my problem again, about progress (and yes, my account is linked, so I wasn’t afraid to lose progress). They gave me email address, where their technician can help, but guess what? No one ever answered. No one ever solve this. So playing for more then 400 days I need to start over the most of the games. And is wasn’t even my fault. I never write bad reviews, but now if the final peak.

I just got RomanceClub recently I really enjoyed the stories but I just got a notification that I needed to update RomanceClub I didn’t know I was going to have to do this for every new story but Apple doesn’t even say RomanceClub needs to be updated it won’t let me update and I can’t get my new stories this is not my only complaint diamonds
....oh here we go with the dimonds I think that there should be a store for clothes to purchase clothing you want with diamonds but I don’t think that you should have to wait till the story gives you an option to get clothes each time and also I don’t really think that I should have to use my dimonds to make a decision... it’s like I was saving for clothes but now I have to waste it on a decision that should be free... I don’t think it’s fair that seems very manipulative I can never get the outfits that I want because I know eventually I will have to use those diamonds on a decision that I shouldn’t have to spend dimonds on it’s like I can’t have fun with my own diamonds it’s just like a free pass so the story goes how I want it to go this makes it very un enjoyable please fix this problem I’m not the only one thank u

I’ve been playing this game because the plot of Seduced By The Rhythm is sooo good, even if the writing isn’t. But the issue as I’m coming to the end of season 2 is how the romance is formulated. I chose not to have a relationship with any of the team members in season 1. I began my character’s relationship with Orlando at the start of season 2 with two or three premium choices, but by episode 5 I noticed that there were no more romance scenes. I decided to check the fandom wiki, and it showed me that because I had no prior romantic relationship with any of the team members in season 1, I couldn’t have a relationship with Orlando/Hiro in season 2 and so it was just skipping the romance scenes completely. Why isn’t each love interest singular so you are able to pick who you want? And let’s also talk about season 1: Justin as a love interest moved too fast—no-one rushes to spend their diamonds so early on, we all want to save them and spend them wisely towards the end of each book.

Essentially I want to know why I couldn’t romance Orlando, and I almost want my gems back that I wasted on him.

This is the problem when you’ve played Choices, and they do all this stuff in an easy and simple way without glitches or confusion.

A couple issues with the diamonds - sometimes the diamond counter (with the watching ad) disappears completely for a period of time. If I try to play an episode it often reappears - but what happens when I’m stalled out because I need more diamonds or when I’ve (soon) played all the current episodes? So that needs to be fixed.

The daily diamonds NEVER load properly. Ever. They never make it to the total diamond count.

Also, the daily diamond reward frequently pops up at the end of an episode - after I’ve watched the ad for an additional two diamonds - and then, instead of getting my 3 diamonds for new episode PLUS the daily diamonds, it only gives me the episode diamonds. It’s a glitch with the counter I think.

Otherwise I love the game! It would be cool if you had some special sales sometimes on the diamonds or diamond and tea packages. I do spend some money each month on the diamonds and I consider it well worth it because the game is so fun and all of the stories are interesting. I really suggest 99 cent sales, people are more likely to buy something that’s only 99 cents. Especially if it is a limited time bundle. (I say this from my other games. It works).

Stop complaining about the amount of tea that they give and just be patient. They need to make money somehow. Also, don’t complain about the diamonds either. They’re easy to make if you replay stories, watch the ad every hour, and double your rewards after finishing a chapter. I made 40 diamonds in a DAY by doing those things.

And I see no point in complaining about the fact that you can’t get diamond clothes. The free ones are just as cute. Plus, in most stories the diamond clothes don’t effect ANYTHING!

But anyways, I REALLY love RomanceClub ! I just wish that there could be 2 updates per month, or if you guys could release the newest episodes for the stories once they’re done. Like, let’s say you guys finish making the newest episodes for Shadows of Saintfour or Wave Patrol (just examples) and everything else isn’t done yet I think that you should release the new episodes for it, so people can have something to do while waiting for other new episodes. I understand you guys have lives though, so you guys shouldn’t really rush anything and just take your time.

Overall, I prefer this game over ANY Interactive game I’ve ever played. And it’s funny because I got the game by accident and now it’s one of my favorites, ahaha.

This is by far the best app in romance. With sweet moments and dark turns. The character development and choices are outstanding!! Honestly it’s extremely fun to play and I recommend it to literally everyone. I love how you just have to watch an ad to get some exclusive scenes and how you can collect gems through time. Though, on the topic of gems, while it is extremely convenient to wait every two hours for two gems (No sarcasm I actually do mean this because some games will just make you starve for gems and see your characters suffer and make you feel bad for it. I realize that’s a run on sentence and I’m sorry), I also feel that it would be both a good chance for further sponsors, and convenient for the player to maybe have different types of ways to get more gems as well. Hope this helps you!

I’ve played many apps like this but they never lived up to my expectations. Romance Club has amazing quality writing and the stories are all intriguing in their own way. Some of them I thought I would like less than others but once I started reading, I was hooked! Every chapter makes you want more, and the love interests are interesting and unique. Even the side characters are very well written and have actual personalities. There’s LGBTQ+ rep, which is wonderful. I’ve only seen one romance story app have a trans woman as a love interest, so when I found out Romance Club also had one I was thrilled. I wish there were more female love interests, but the ones they do have are all so beautiful and unique, so it makes up for the lack of balance between the number of male vs female LIs.

Also, the Diamond Rush and Tea Party events are fantastic! Having 48 hour events where all diamond choices are free is unheard of on any other app. Most apps are very money hungry and it’s impossible to earn diamonds without paying a ridiculous amount of money, but Romance Club has several ways to earn diamonds for free. However, this is the type of app I wouldn’t mind spending money on, because it is very clear the developers care about their audience. Keep up the wonderful work, I can’t wait to see what other stories release in the future :)

I can’t give RomanceClub 4.5 stars so I rounded up.
I really like RomanceClub. I have tried a lot of visual novel apps and this is by far my favorite.
The stories are well written and our choices actually have consequences. As a player you have to actively pursue your love interest, you have to accumulate enough points otherwise the story will not turn out the way you want. And I really love this because a lot of other apps pretty much have the same ending regardless of what you choose. I really enjoy the diversity of the stories, they’re set in so many different times, places etc. No story feels recycled.
Also I love that they have events where all diamond choices are free/ you can play without using chapter passes. Some books really need a lot of diamonds and I can’t realistically spend that amount of money so it’s nice to have these events where I can enjoy the stories to the fullest for free.
My only issue is sometimes the CG is not customized to fit the MC that I chose and some of the older stories are awkwardly written.
But these are minor issues I really love RomanceClub. Well done to the devs and writers you’re doing a great job. I can’t wait to see more stories and updates from you.

I found this particular choice game AMAZING! The stories were intriguing and sexy. I found the graphics of the settings and characters beautiful. I can spot the difference from their original stories to newer developed and can see the growth they have made. I’ve seen others be upset with the wait of new episodes (roughly a month) and I get the frustration but Im also so hooked that I’m sticking around to find out what happens next. It’s worth the wait. I also wanted to point out how easy it is to earn diamonds on RomanceClub, I have purchased some diamonds but it’s nice that they have options for earning more. NO OTHER game has as many opportunities to earn diamonds. I really appreciate the hard work they put into making that work for their viewers. Heavens secret has me wrapped around its finger if you’re looking for a good story here!

I’ve already written a few reviews for y’all and I’m still very satisfied with everything nothing has changed for me there because y’all are just so creative and so incredible at what you’re doing with RomanceClub if anyone would be dissatisfied their just ridiculous because everything about RomanceClub is on point and pure perfection!. I just had an idea for a really great story though.. I’ve always been a huge Harry Potter fan growing up to now even I watch the movies all the time and never tire of them and I’m sure so many feel the same!! Idk how it works exactly or if you’d be able to do it but I think it’d be amazing if you guys could do a story for Harry Potter i know the characters would look so awesome with y’all’s graphics and the way you guys do things it’d be perfect! All you’d have to do really is add the MC into which ever group they chose for example I’d choose Gryffindor so I’d be put in Harry’s group with Harry Ronald and Hermione basically whichever one you choose you get put into the popular group of that faction if that makes sense lol plus you can romance with whichever popular character from Harry Potter. Idk I just thought it was a cool idea I love RomanceClub and I thought it’d be so amazing to read Harry Potter through y’all’s eyes. It’s 100% free unless you pay for extra gems or tea, and they don’t try and pressure you to buy things or make it impossible to read because you haven’t made a purchase. There’s even a video option every 2 hours to get a few gems, and they add up, especially with the daily login rewards. I’ve been using this since they only had like 4 stories and a season or so of each one. Honestly the only downside is sometimes the character presets that you get to choose from aren’t very appealing or there isn’t much range, it’s 1 white girl 2 Latina girl 3 Asian girl 4 dark skin black girl, for most stories and sometimes their faces look “funky” I’m not sure if that’s the right word but it’s really a fun game and there’s next to no flaws I hope they keep it this way as they expand.

Ok guys lemme just say, this game is pretty sick. If you are considering getting this game I think you should, because even though it costs a lot of diamonds for options and you have to wait a long time to get tea (Better than other apps though) I think that this game is amazing. I never write reviews, but RomanceClub just was really amazing. The only suggestions I have (and I know RomanceClub is kinda new and this has been said before) is to update RomanceClub twice a month or something. Because us readers have to be left on a cliffhanger!😭 Also, could you guys make it easier to get tea and gems easier. Ik u guys have to make money off of this but could you guys like you get tea for example two in two hours? And for example you could get one gem an hour by watching a video? But other than these things RomanceClub is totally awesome. I definitely recommend that eveyone gets RomanceClub and gives it a try because why not?🤷‍♀️

If you like romance, choose your own adventure games this should be your first choice. Let me start by saying put your credit card away, or whoever’s card you’re using. You won’t need it unless you really want it. If you’re doing it right though, you shouldn’t. They give you plenty of diamonds and the teacups refill fast. You aren’t judged in game for not picking the most expensive choice all the choices are nice your character doesn’t have to look ugly or stupid. You actually make the decisions and it’s fun. There are too many different stories to choose from. I like to take a few months to build up my diamonds so I can binge stories and because I like adding them up. Like I said it’s fun it has diverse, beautiful characters that are ugly and awkward looking. The stories make sense and take place in more places than school. Give it a try and dump the other apps. If romance club reads these and you ever need a writer hello I’m available.

This game has been very interesting and fun to play and to uncover secrets, Basically reading a romance book but with pictures and your somewhat writing it, But I have three problems. First, Diamonds are a issue, Sometimes I have to pause a story and save up so I can make the story how I want to, And the fact that there are outfits that you spend a ton of diamonds on makes zero sense if I’m going to be honest, So if you could make it a little more easy to get diamonds that would be great! The second problem is probably an easy fix but the game says that I have to wait til I get a notification so that I can update it, but it’s been like a month and a half and it still hasn’t given me a notification. This is annoying because I’m really into some stories but they are in development etc, so if that’s an actual problem please fix it! But other then those problems it’s pretty good, the only other thing is the emotions on the characters are a bit too much. They look quite funny sometimes! But four stars meets up to my expectations from playing other games like this.

It’s an awesome app and I love to play Heaven’s Secret and Legend of the Willow. I like all the mystical stuff and unlike a game called Choices, the placement of the diamond choices is pretty reasonable. I have some suggestions though. For young writers who want to try their hand at making a interesting story maybe let them create their own story? You can give them plenty of models to make use of, some places and buttons to make diamond choices and put in whatever music you gave them. You can even have it so the creator can have it only on their screen and while they test it it won’t cost anything. When and if they want to put their creation onto the platform for everybody maybe have you guys review it or not. (Wether you want to have a review button before it gets submitted is up to you)
I think this would really grow the community and even though in no way to I think you guys should stop created stories too but it would bring in more verity of people. These create your own story things could maybe have the protagonist choose if they are a girl, boy, or non-binary.

Compared to episode and other games, I would have to say that I like this one the most because of the Hollywood Story. I haven’t read the other stories yet. But from what I’ve seen from My Hollywood Story it’s good. Also I’ve used multiple diamond choices (that weren’t clothes) and it does really impact the game but not in a way that you get the 'bad ending'. For example I spent my gems on training my dog in the story and it has helped my character in a lot of situations. Based on my preference, I like the characters appearance. It’s nice that they have included other races. But I also would like to see more diverse male characters in the stories. And when you can’t afford to spend gems on a nice outfit or item the free ones are actually cute too. The storyline for My Hollywood Story is great considering a lot of story games have a Hollywood plot. I also really like some of the expressions on the characters faces. I do want to mention that some important choices do cost a lot of your gems but I totally understand that since they’ve got to make money somehow. Although I do miss the times where games were all fun and you had to watch commercials/ads to play. Besides that I would give this game 5/5 stars because it’s better than most story games.

I started playing this last year and was hooked! I remember the first story I played, “Sails in the fog”, and thought that I wouldn’t be into it because pirates weren’t my cup of tea. But after dwelling deep in the story, I was mesmerized by the beautiful art, soundtracks, and most importantly, storyline. This game was the first to actually let me enjoy every genre, since they’re so intriguing with all the plot twists and unpredictable plot. I admit this was the only game where I spent a lot of money because it felt worth it, sometimes even for the stunning outfits.

I stopped playing this after a while because there were only a few stories released. But I came back to it 2 months ago and was amazed by the new selection! I’m still sad to see that “Sails in the fog” is coming to an end though. One con is that they release chapters late, but it’s worth the wait for the quality content. Your choices actually matter as they shift your path! I love the skills (diplomacy, fortitude, etc.) they incorporated in here where it keeps you engaged in each choice. This beats all interactive story games out there. Keep up the work! I just wish this was advertised more because people are missing out on this hidden gem 💎
