Tried many times to save my words to sets but nothing worked. Deleting MemoWord unfortunately. Not intuitively built.

Because they charge for a premium subscription and, on top of that, for downloading sets—even if you already have premium! And if you bought a paid set, there’s no indication that it’s purchased. If you buy a set on an iPhone, you’ll be left guessing on your iPad which sets were already purchased on the iPhone because there’s no synchronization. You might think you’ve bought it on one device, but no—the purchase has to be paid for on each device, regardless of using the same Apple account. They charge you every time you download already purchased sets. 👎🏻
The interface is terrible, like something from the 1990s—ugly colors that can’t be customized, no font or background adjustments. The reminder settings are not flexible, and the minimum threshold is too high. And the typing feature can’t be turned off. Even if you’ve bought premium, that crown icon near every button is an eyesore! Why have the crown if premium is purchased? It’s clear that user convenience is not a priority here.
The synthetic voice is awful and can’t be disabled in the settings, so you’re constantly prompted to use it for listening and typing. MemoWord claims that you can upload your own sets via the website or user dashboard, but when you click on the dashboard button, you just get a notification, and the dashboard never appears.
The application is very raw and underdeveloped and does not function as described. There are countless glitches that make it difficult to use. Another update has proven that the developers don’t care about user complaints. They haven’t fixed the interface issues—neither the buttons nor the terrible colors that make the text unreadable against the background. None of the other issues have been addressed either. 👎🏻
Clearly, the developers don’t use their own app—otherwise, they would have noticed how terrible it is. Writing glowing reviews about your own app won’t fix the problems. I’m done with this—I wash my hands of it. Your app is destined to lose its ranking and vanish among the sea of forgotten apps.
Users don’t get distracted by such an ugly design, that’s true—because they spend so much time trying to decipher the faint text against a nearly identical background. Think what you want, but users know the truth. Feeding us garbage while ignoring feedback is a road to failure. Your app will sink in the Apple Store rankings, overtaken by those who value user convenience and listen to feedback. Instead of admitting that you lack the funds to pay developers to improve the UI/UX, you attack users who raise valid concerns and suggestions. Shameful!

Porque cobran por una suscripción premium y, además, por descargar conjuntos, ¡incluso si ya tienes la suscripción premium! Y si compraste un conjunto de pago, no hay ninguna indicación de que esté adquirido. Si compras un conjunto en un iPhone, tendrás que adivinar en tu iPad cuáles conjuntos ya compraste en el iPhone, porque no hay sincronización. Podrías pensar que lo compraste en un dispositivo, pero no: la compra debe pagarse en cada dispositivo, independientemente de que uses la misma cuenta de Apple. Te cobran cada vez que descargas conjuntos ya comprados.
La interfaz es terrible, como si fuera de los años 90, con colores poco atractivos que no se pueden personalizar, sin ajustes de fuentes ni de fondo. Las configuraciones de recordatorios no son flexibles, y el umbral mínimo es demasiado alto. Además, no se puede desactivar la función de escritura. Incluso si compraste premium, el ícono de la corona junto a cada botón es molesto. ¿Para qué está la corona si ya se compró el premium? Es evidente que la conveniencia del usuario no es una prioridad aquí.
La voz sintética es pésima y no se puede desactivar en la configuración, por lo que constantemente se te insta a usarla para escuchar y escribir. La aplicación afirma que puedes subir tus propios conjuntos a través del sitio web o del panel de usuario, pero al hacer clic en el botón del panel, solo aparece una notificación y el panel nunca se abre.
La aplicación está muy poco desarrollada y no funciona como se describe. Hay innumerables errores que dificultan su uso. Una actualización más ha demostrado que a los desarrolladores no les importan las quejas de los usuarios. No han solucionado los problemas de la interfaz, ni los botones ni los terribles colores que hacen que el texto sea ilegible sobre el fondo. Tampoco se han abordado otros problemas. 👎🏻
Es evidente que los desarrolladores no usan su propia aplicación; de lo contrario, habrían notado lo terrible que es. Escribir reseñas elogiosas sobre su propia aplicación no solucionará los problemas. Estoy harto de esto; me lavo las manos. Su aplicación está destinada a perder su clasificación y desaparecer entre el mar de aplicaciones olvidadas.
Es cierto que los usuarios no se distraen con un diseño tan feo, pero solo porque pasan mucho tiempo tratando de descifrar el texto tenue sobre un fondo casi idéntico. Piensen lo que quieran, pero los usuarios conocen la verdad. Ofrecer algo deficiente mientras se ignora la retroalimentación es un camino hacia el fracaso. Su aplicación se hundirá en los rankings de la Apple Store, superada por aquellas que valoran la conveniencia del usuario y escuchan sus comentarios. En lugar de admitir que les faltan fondos para pagar a los desarrolladores y mejorar la interfaz y la experiencia de usuario (UI/UX), atacan a los usuarios que plantean preocupaciones y sugerencias legítimas. ¡Vergonzoso!

You know Mom always said to stay organized!? They people took it waaaaay too seriously! You can’t even find your way into MemoWord as its so overly structured and ... whew ... you just get lost in a myriad of crap to do before you can even begin to use MemoWord .... with limited functionality unless you pay! Would give it a “0” stars if I could. Don’t waste your precious time!

The vertical screen is awkward and doesn’t work with my tablet holder for trying to type information in. The flag system for selecting the language is too tiny for these old eyes. That’s as far as I got. Thank you

Искал долго, у подобных приложений либо интерфейс нагроможденный, либо рекламой замучают. this app мне понравился удобством и простотой, все логично и понятно, упор сделан на добавление своих слов, которые необходимы для изучения языка в данный момент, но можно и скачать уже готовые пакеты. Заплатил за полную версию и не жалею. Спасибо this app.

Очень крутое приложение. Лучшее что попадалось. Немного переводы кривые автоматом вылетают, но суть понятна, можно корректировать. Было б еще круче если б можно было добавлять картинки.

As a language student, it is helpful to me to be able to make my own sets of flashcards for each vocabulary unit, and the upload (from Excel spreadsheet) is very quick and useful. The audio pronunciation is accurate.

Easy to use. Very effective. Works great.

I was able to learn all the phrases to check into the hotel, order food, get a cab, and start a conversation with locals - while on the plane.
This is the best app I know to learn when you are traveling or want to impress people at a local restaurant at home.

For me, it is the perfect app to learn how to communicate before a trip abroad, a vacation in Tulum, or a business meeting in Europe.

I was using the free version for a while, and it did everything I wanted to create and review flashcards for learning Mandarin and Russian.....the only thing with the free version is you are limited to the number of cards you can create. With the subscription, I will be creating more cards, and will install MemoWord on other devices.....hopefully MemoWord will work on all my devices, and will track and update my cards automatically on each device.

UPDATE 6-12-2024 I have installed MemoWord on several devices, all my cards and settings sync perfectly! Thanks to Elena and her team!
