Digital Clock - Bedside Alarm Reviews

I've always used a clock app, but this one is far and away THE BEST! The display is clean and sharp, and the settings are intuitive and fast to personalize the view you prefer. The numbers are also large for viewing without glasses, which is exactly when I use it most.

With other apps, just when I'd try to open DigitalClock and quickly read the time, an ad would pop up and cover it--very frustrating if you're scrambling. DigitalClock doesn't do that, but it's still well worth the small price to upgrade to PRO features for DigitalClock.

This is a great digital clock you can see from across the room you can just have it running setting over on the couch or whatever while you’re watching TV or if expecting someone to come over at a certain time or if you just want to give someone a hint at the table close to you it is time to leave and just put the display on your phone and then show it to them, it’s great for lots of things. You can set it up in hundred min. for military style or regular time.

I would have rated it 5 stars except for the annoying advertisements that start up every time I open DigitalClock . I wanted DigitalClock because I have to take a screenshot of the time that I start and end specific assignments for my work. However, when the ad starts up, I’m caught frantically fumbling to get it turned off so that I can get my screenshot taken immediately. This is a real hassle & takes away from the ease of being able to use DigitalClock .

Dim 4 Nighttime! My two favorite things about DigitalClock are 1 being able to change the color to blue! I have often heard that Blue is supposed to be better for night time and 2 that you can adjust the brightness of it which is very helpful as it always seems to get brighter as I fall different to sleep. This is done by simply dragging your finger from the top to the bottom of the screen slowly. just the ads are annoying but I guess that’s on every app that’s why I didn’t have a five & I’d rather NOT have to Pay ANY additional amount !

I only bought it because Apple is to stupid to make an adjustable snooze for 5 minutes so I paid for this. I have been out of work for a little while now so shut alarm off and I keep getting reminders that I don’t have any alarms set. Well duh I know that and don’t want to keep being reminded. If someone needs to be reminded to set alarm have option to shut it off. I did disable notifications but guess what alarm never went off when they are off. And another thing in order to shut alarm off I need to get my glasses on stare at screen to unlock just to shut alarm off. Should be like built in alarm just reach over and hit snooze.

I got this to display as a widget on my IPhone. However, I can only display 12-hour format if I am running DigitalClock . When I install the widget, it converts back to 24-hour. For me, this is a waste of money for the pro version. Hopefully, the developer will change this. Or else, offer help if I am in error. I tried everything I could to show a 12-hour format.

DigitalClock closes by itself. Endlessly. It's on an old iPad Mini I keep in view which acts as an expensive clock. And when you have to tap it to re-open an app I did not close? Within seconds, it DEMANDS a review. So, you want a review? I'll give you a review: whatever fool programmed this to close when it shouldn't....over and over and over again.... And then makes you tap "I'll review it later" just to get it working again....should be fired. For this I paid money???

UPDATE: Worst single app I've ever paid for. Relentlessly will quit, then demand a review....even though you've submitted one.....over and over and over again...ad nauseum. HORRIBLE

Tried as a demo and bought because of the ability to announce the top of the hour. Only disappointment is that after purchasing, DigitalClock no longer announces the top of the hour. Have looked at all DigitalClock and iOS settings and haven’t found reason for change of operation. Years ago I had a Windows Phone that had a similar clock that ‘chimed’ on the 1/4 hr. Can’t find same app for iOS, possibility for future update? If anyone knows what I need to do to fix not announcing, please let me know.

I like to keep my room pitch black when I am sleeping but I also like to know what time it is when I go to sleep, if I wake up during the night, when I wake up in the morning, etc.! I love that you can have different color numbers and some are brighter and some are less bright. I just love everything about DigitalClock and I have tried so many in the past.

My phone went out and since I used it as an reliable alarm for wake up, I needed another source for my next day wake up alarm for my medical appointment. I installed the free version on my iPad and even tested it successfully to make sure it would properly alarm at the predesignated time.
At time it was supposed to be waking me up, this thing thought it more proper to put up an ad notification which blocked the actual alarm to sound. I woke up an hour & a half late and looked at the time and was horrified that all I saw was the time behind that silent notification! I was like, "you have got to be friggin kidding me!".
Do Not Use Or Attempt To Download This Mess!

I downloaded DigitalClock so I could have an accurate method to time commercials and marking the beginning of the next show while watching television. Time, day of the week, date and a display that counts seconds- that’s all I wanted and this is DigitalClock that delivers. But DigitalClock goes above and beyond because it has lots of other cool features you can find out about when you install it on your device.

I got DigitalClock for the sole purpose of having a large red dimmable digital clock at night. I have light sensitivity and insomnia, so this seemed great. First, I had to purchase the red skin which was irritating but fine. I was even ok dealing with the nonsense ads that popped up every time I opened it but didn’t stay. However the fact that they’re wanting me to pay an additional fee to remove a new ad banner is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll give it another day or two to see if they drop that notion then I’m deleting it. It won’t be worth the hassle.

DigitalClock works the way I hoped... mostly. I like
that you can dim the display by swiping down on the screen. Could have sworn the alarm used to be louder than it is now. Maybe happened when I paid for the upgrade? Volume on iPhone is at max. Much too quiet now. Would actually prefer it starts low and slowly gets louder.

I think it could use a few more wake up sounds. Maybe two other softer wake ups. The morning with the birds is actually quite loud and I’ve only found one that I like out of their list of about 10 maybe?.
Otherwise it’s great and it’s a one purchase deal so how can you really lose? Well you can’t it’s a winner

The settings are everything you want and not a lot of superfluous things to wade through. It was easy to get it set just the way I wanted the clock to look. For a night stand clock I wanted it to be informative but not cluttered. That’s just what I got in about 5 minutes of setup. Super user friendly.

Overall it’s good, but should be accessible from a locked screen w/o having to use the pin; and, don’t like that the snooze or off buttons are so small. Also it seems it isn’t reliable sometimes, not sure exactly when but I think if I don’t have it open I’ll get multiple screen notifications banners that I can’t tell what each is.

I got DigitalClock because I wanted a clock on my cellphone that I could look at as soon as I picked up my phone like you would a wrist watch. But unfortunately DigitalClock doesNOT let you display it as your cellphone wallpaper so therefore I have to touch on DigitalClock to see what time it is.
If there is something I am missing that would rectify this problem please let me know. Therefore DigitalClock doesnot do anything that my 6s cellphone already has the option to do. Otherwise I have no use for DigitalClock.

Very simple to use and easy to make changes. The only problem I have had is that so many of the alarm clock apps have the same titles, I sometimes have issues finding this particular app. As long as I stick to the same color scheme, it’s great! Always accurate. Can enter reminder & notes for specific dates and alarms. I’ve tried several others, but the simplicity of DigitalClock makes it my favorite.

The clock shows 24 hour time. When you go into the settings and turn it off it’s still shows 24 hour settings but was able to click it and then it shows standard time. What I would really like to see is an option where you can just see standard time without having to click it.

I had an old iPad. DigitalClock allows me to use it as a kitchen clock. Has date and time display which even the Google device does not. Just perfect.

A suggestion: I fear screen burning from a steady image. Would be nice if the time moved around slowly over the screen

I paid for the upgrade to pro to get rid of the ads. Not possible to use this with ads. Too bright at night.
The alarm sound is very low. The alarm comes through the earphone speaker and not the external speakers. I have an iPhone XS Max. Is it this way for everyone?

The only problem is that the: between the minutes and seconds is continuously blinking throughout the night which is distracting. The only way to turn it off is to activate the seconds switch but they can also be distracting in the dark of night. The developer needs to make the blinking: between the minutes and seconds solid not blink. Or at least offer it as an option.
