Download this game, play it for 10 minutes then delete it. It’s just a simple concept that would be fun if made by supercell or someone but I came here just to give this game a 1 Star becasue games like this p me off. If you play this game for 10 minutes, 9 minutes is spent watching ads, 1 min of actual gameplay, they need to get their gameplay to ad ratio right so that any human being will keep this game downloaded for longer than a day. Sure they’re making money from all the ads we are watching but I’d probably watch more ads if the amount of ads was bearable. There’s a reason TV isn’t 3 seconds of the show and then 3 hours of commercials even tho the only reason they make money is because of the commercials, because no one would watch 3 hours of commercials. If this game was 10% ad and 90% gameplay I might keep the game longer than 10 minutes before deleting it and ultimately watch more ads over time. Furthermore, more people would download it making each ad more valuable and more expensive for the advertisers. I’m conclusion don’t download this, or do, I guarantee you won’t keep it longer than 10 minutes.

Every time I die from crashing every 3 seconds I get an ad and I can’t even skip it, 99% of the time you can’t even skip. They make the levels too hard so you can’t even pass them. For instance I’m on level 1 and I can’t even pass 2 cars with a car popping up making it impossible for me to even stay alive, honestly if you take away 90% of the ads and make the game 50% more easier I would actually give it a 5 star, it has an interesting gameplay but you can’t even pass the levels and you have too many ads. Please fix this soon

If i could give half a star i would, because the game does not let you do anything without watching an ad. You can’t play it without wifi and i am saying this because i was trying to play it without wifi so i could avoid the ads but it didn’t let me. If you try and fail in the game, you can try again without watching an ad, but even if you try and win, you still have to watch an ad. It is stupid and im not downloading this game ever again

There’s an ad after every time you play. Usually 30 seconds or for that horrendous and weird game Episode. They don’t care about making a decent game or even being decent developers. They just paid for their spot through more selective ads on other crummy games. This will phase out when someone else starts sending their ads around. Until then devs just keep not doing anything about any of the issues in your game. It’s pathetic

The game is terrible.
For a starter there is WAY to many ads! I get you need money but seriously?! There are ads when I pass a level (if I could ever pass one) and when I lose one. Sometimes I even get ads during the middle of a game.
Another problem is that i can never pass levels. The game is way to hard and I can't beat the game. And I know it's not just me because my friends can't even pass level one. It is just a very difficult game to play and I stop playing it when I can't pass a level.

I had an option to pay 2.99$ for no adds and a new car so i did and i played a few rounds with the car then an add popped up which was really annoying because they are like 30 seconds long and i paid for no adds. The i got kicked out of the game and I tried to go back in two more times and got kicked out again. When i got back in I didn’t have my car and there were still adds. I went to restore purchases but it said I hadn’t made any but i was missing 3$ in my iTunes account.

Very fun game however the amount of ads is unreal. I get it, it’s a free app and it needs to make the money back however this is way too many ads. Also the game REQUIRES internet connection. While not the biggest issue I downloaded this game before a flight specifically for the flight and wasn’t able to play due to the lack of service. 3 stars but if it weren’t for the WiFi issue and the insane amount of ads it would easily be 4-5. Had to delete the game as the ads make it unplayable

You should only make the mistake of getting this if you absolutely adore to watch poorly marketed ads. The marketing teams for these game companies should be ashamed by how bad their advertisements are. You get an ad after basically EVERY single crash which happens frequently as you learn the game. I get they have to fund their games somehow but if you can’t afford to produce a game without having ads every time you “die”, then you shouldn’t even put the game out since you probably should’ve been better funded. So I’m in the bathroom doing my thing and I see this cool app come up and I was excited. I was like “oh heck yeah this is cool” so I immediately downloaded app and was excited to start my new journey on it and whatnot.

I started playing it and man! It was a good game I’m not gonna lie. Not too easy, not too hard. Just the way I like it. Perfect for the occasion, if you know what I’m saying. There was a good bit of ads. Every few seconds there was an ad. Which, I understand you can pay to have the ads removed but I wanted to play the game first to see if I liked it enough to pay for it.

My biggest issue was how the game would crash. I was doing good, racking up on coins, and the game would crash and I would loose everything and have to start over. Not only that, but it would make my phone overheat. (Note that I have a newer Iphone and it has only been like 20 minutes since I discovered OverTake . )

So I was mad. Im now stuck with my phone overheated to the point where I cant use it and ruined my bathroom time. Once it cooled down I deleted OverTake and did not have the issue again. Its a thumbs down for me 👎🏼

One compliment that I have for the game is that it’s fun not too hard and it’s not to easy. So I started playing the game and I got really annoyed.
I got annoyed because there are TOO MANY FREAKING ADS. This game is all about advertising. Every 30 seconds or after every level there is an ad or two. And the ads are 30 seconds long. And it’s the same ad over and over

It gets really annoying to me. But if you like watching the same ads over and over and over and over this is the perfect for you. Also the game is scamming because I was buying the “no ads” option and as soon as I made the purchase the game crashed, and that’s why I’m giving this a 1 star rating.

So if you’re reading reviews you probably know by now that there are WAY TO MANY ADS!! But intolerant of that there are also levels that are pretty much impossible. So basically there are a ton of coins in your lane. There are also a ton of cars in the other lane. The thing is that the car in front of you is faster than you but I will tap right as the car in the other lane passes and I’m still not fat enough. The obviously after all those attempts I had to watch an ad with everyone. This game is terrible and not even that fun of an idea to begin with. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT getting this game. It was clearly not very thought out and planned and almost seemed rushed in my opinion. It seemed like this game is more for the money rather than the buyers actually enjoying the game...just sayin🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Love ads? What about being forced to watch the same ones over and over after only several seconds of mild entertainment?? Then this is definitely the game for you.

If you like the actual game, which is clunky and more of a platform for ads than anything else, you can close out of OverTake and restart to skip (most of) the ads.

But between this inconvenience and the fact that the game just really isn’t very good, and the ads make it unplayable

Although the game itself is fairly enjoyable there is clearly a significant bug that causes OverTake to simply blow up. This can occur during gameplay or when any of the numerous advertisements kick in. There are also some fairly major issues with the graphics. Picture judder and screen freeze cause a myriad of frustrations and ruin any ability to have a consistent playing experience. I have given it 2 stars for the concept but would need to reduce that score to zero if I were to review this game on playability only.

Ok so there are 2 reasons why I think this game is horrible 1 THE ADS! There are way to many ads on this game I know your game needs to make money and all but seriously this is ridiculous like after every 2 levels there is another ad and most of the ads are like 30 seconds long sometimes you get to skip them but most are f the times you have to wait and it is ridiculous so please fix that and 2 some of the levels are like impossible like for instance I’m on level 53 and and every time when I get close to the finish line there is a car in front of me then when I turn left another car on the other side races and comes straight to me but when I turn the slow car is still in front of me so I have no option but to lose and it is so annoying I’ve tried like 5 times trying but it’s not working and it’s making me really frustrated and making me want to delete the games so please fix these two problems then maybe I will enjoy this game and I’ll raise up my star review thanks

The game itself is actually pretty fun. The only downfall is that there is WAYYYYY too many ads. It will give you the option to triple your coins after a match if you watch an ad, but even if you decide to skip the ad and keep the amount of coins you have, IT WILL STILL PLAY THE AD. The option of skipping the ad is really just for looks. Besides that, there is a 30 second ad after every single match. I understand you have to have ads to profit off of an app, but you guys over do it and it ruins the overall experience.

The game is fun but way too many ads. Like a lot of games, you have the option to claim more coins by watching an ad, but if you choose not to triple the coins, you still get an ad, albeit slightly shorter. Also while playing, there are banner ads at the bottom of the screen where you can easily hit during play and mess up your race because an ad pops up. That is actually super annoying as you don’t expect it. That ad too ends up stuck in my browser. Oh well, I am likely to delete soon even though it is a great game.

I’ve been playing through this game for a bit and I liked it. I just wish there were a few things that were changed or added. I wish when you pass a car, it doesn’t just finish without doing anything else. I think that is really sad, I of most people I assume don’t like that.

First off I love the game, I play it everyday and it’s great:) but there are a few things that would make it a LOT better and would help a lot more people download it.
1) ADS: first things first. The Ads are very consistent and annoying. Please correct that.
2) MORE CARS: I’ve had the game for about a week now and Ive already gotten every single car available. It would be great to have a wider variety of cars available, like the Delorian from back to the future, or to have a Volkswagen hippie van available.
3) also, it lags a lot while opening OverTake and while playing sometimes. I would really like those things cleared up for future gameplay. Thank you

I was very excited to play this game at first but even in a fast car it’s like you’re still going as slow as the starter car. I would download again if the cars came with updates to make the cars go faster but until then I’m uninstalling.

I unlocked all the cars and now I feel like the game needs more content. The levels where you take down the “faster” car aren’t challenging anymore and although the game encourages you to drive recklessly if you play safely you can just keep overtaking cars without a new challenge.
