Harmony Helper Reviews

I’m not sure about others, but I’ve had issues with not all the notes on music I import (either via camera or uploaded file) being correct. 90 plus percent is great, but wrong notes are jarring and don’t help with practice. If we had an interface for being able to review and correct the translated notes, HarmonyHelper would be phenomenal. But for now I still find myself going back to a piano to plunk out my line so that all the notes can be correct.

I’ll be thrilled to see this functionality in an update, or to be informed it’s an option I’ve somehow overlooked. Getting my music to 100% correct so I can practice it all would be worth five stars, a renewed subscription, and more!

HarmonyHelper it’s self is great! I like how it looks, I love the idea and for practice it really is great! However, I just wish they had better songs. Now I know HarmonyHelper is new. When I heard about it a year ago it wasn’t even on HarmonyHelper Store so I know it is really new! I just wish they had songs that I really could sing to. New songs. Scales would also be really great. As a music student, scales would really wish they had scales. Because HarmonyHelper is great for choral students, but there aren’t enough song options yet. I hope thy add some more soon!

I really really love HarmonyHelper . I do find myself not getting harmony parts when I upload a song. Maybe there is a setting I’m not seeing, if now hopefully in a future update that will be a possibility.

I would also like to see a pitch-line still when I am hitting the right note (at the moment it sorta vanishes once you are in range) just so I can monitor vibrato.

I don’t believe any of this is a deal breaker and HarmonyHelper is fairly new and I believe it deserves 5 stars as no other apps do this exactly.

I would also like a full desktop app personally, maybe a more expensive but life time version. That’s just my preference to pay for something once and own it and for it to be on the desktop so there’s more recognition of the lower voices than an iPhone can really do.

This is such a great app. I’ve been having a great time using HarmonyHelper to help learn my music, and I want to present it to the theatre company I work with, but there are still some minor bugs. I was trying to access my music, but it is not allowing me to play it because it says I need to restore my purchase. When I try to restore it, it says my purchase is restored, but still does not let me play and gives me the issue of having to restore my purchase.

HarmonyHelper has surprising music-reading abilities & was eye-opening when I used it to practice singing songs that I already knew & to learn new ones. It gave me useful feedback to hone my pitch on songs I was always familiar with & it was a helpful guide when I tried learning some new tunes. And if I needed additional help, the team was great about responding to me questions & making sure I was all set.

I would give HarmonyHelper 3.5 for now, as they are still working out the bugs. The developers are awesome so I gave it a 4. They listen to all my comments and fix problems really fast. As a voice teacher and professional singer, I can tell that this product is going to help so many singers who need help singing harmonies!

I really love this! Love the idea and the help it brings to learning your part and sheet music. However, I think there are still some bugs to work out before I commit to paying for it (I’ll rebuy no worries). But I’ve tried multiple times to save a song from my sheet music, and when I played them after checking the audio and it’s fine, it’s stuck in the waiting gray phase and won’t finalize. I am unable to practice or do click on them or anything. Please fix this because I really love this!

Whether you sing professionally or dream of it and sing for fun at the moment...... you can’t afford not to have this on your phone. The price point is value and being able to upload the songs I want and need allows me to practice whenever and wherever I want/can.

HarmonyHelper has made my life as a singer/auditionee SOOO much easier! I don't need to have the piano skills to plunk out my part in solos, sides, and choral arrangements, because Harmony Helper does it for me! Super convenient and well-made app. I absolutely recommend HarmonyHelper to anyone in need of learning vocal music with ease. 5 stars!!

Despite being what looks like an unfinished app I would like to point out that it has a very pleasing interface, simple controls, and an actual understanding of music. Really recommend HarmonyHelper especially when more content is added.

Literally all these reviews saying “it’s good” or saying “it’s great” are from the creators of HarmonyHelper . Like all of the review have bold letters saying HarmonyHelper is cool. HarmonyHelper literally says I have my headphones in even when I turned my Bluetooth off. And when I kept checking to see if my Bluetooth was off (it was) it still said the same things. And if honey if you guys wanted “good” reviews on your app then you should have made it more believable.

I’m a new singer, and when I came across HarmonyHelper, I was excited! I know they’re still working out some of the kinks, but i think it has the potential to become a real game changer... What a great idea!

I downloaded HarmonyHelper for an upcoming audition and long story short I got the role. After using HarmonyHelper I felt more comfortable walking into the audition feeling as though I had a leg up on my competition. If you haven’t downloaded it yet you are doing yourself a disservice.

HarmonyHelper works great. It has helped me so much to learn my harmonies. Don’t know what I would do with out it. None of the others that I have tried can compare to this one. Easy to use and learn.

when trying out SSB on the song book, after singing the two voices when recording, the third voice HarmonyHelper freezes and crashes but HarmonyHelper still has lots of potential

This may be great for someone who doesn’t really singing harmony full time and to just use it for fun. But for someone, like myself, who has a good ear, the harmonies are all out of wack and all over the place. HarmonyHelper could be much better if the harmonies were actually 3 steps on a scale apart from one another throughout an entire song. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Have a go with HarmonyHelper! You might enjoy it. But as for me, I cannot say the same. Sorry.. 😕

I’m saying it is ok because the problem I have is yes—— it helps you with the vocals but, you can only do one at a time, and you can’t hear all the harmonies harmonize all at once together.. (atleast I cant I might be crazy😙), I guess it’s just a little confusing that’s all, but overall, it can help some.🙂

Downloaded HarmonyHelper after a friend told me about it and it’s fantastic! Easy to use and very helpful when practicing my part. Highly recommend this for anyone who sings!

Great functionality! It’s awesome to see all customer support and the ability to share feedback and see such a quick response.

Took way too many tries to get a serviceable reading of a piece of music, then playback just stopped working altogether. Tried to reload it, etc, to no avail. Tried to work with customer service to prorate subscription for months it wasn’t functioning but to no avail, so was forced to cancel. Sad because I LOVE the idea of this. Execution and business side is not there yet.
