I received my Populele 2 Pro. The instrument looks nice and appears well-built. Unfortunately, it plays like a much cheaper instrument but is fine for an instrument to learn on. But here’s where the problems arise. The Populele app is wretched and quite literally unusable. PopuMusic is incapable of hearing my strumming and so I can’t even get through the basic lessons. Lesson downloads are incredibly slow, if you stop a lesson while it’s playing it continues playing in the background requiring you to “force quit” PopuMusic . Every time PopuMusic launches you have to reconnect the Populele manually. It’s not even fair to discuss the limited song availability when not a single song downloads. I’ve tried about thirty songs all of which fail to download. I tried on WiFi, on Cell, everything I can think of. Please tell me a significant app update is coming because as is, the promises of Populele 2 are completely unmet. I am left with a foul sounding instrument that also lights up and a non-functional and ugly app that looks like a spawned bastard of Windows Vista.

The videos themselves are golden. But app will switch between English and Chinese without warning. Not that it would matter if you can’t understand. Try going back and fixing these issues. Would go a long way to helping bring this instrument to those worried about learning. Had this been my only experience, I would of felt completely lost and discouraged.

I have redownloaded this 3 times now still wouldn’t open on my phone. Making the ukulele just a regular ukulele. Pointless.

Previously I spent 200 dollars in PopuMusic in the account that linked with my fab account. The tutorial was great. But all of a sudden, I’m no longer able to login with my fab account any more. It says PopuMusic is still in development mode. Please fix that.

Not many songs. Cannot access FAQ or Store because when I click them, they load for a second & then disappear. Why wouldn’t you get PopuMusic ready while people were waiting for their instruments to be manufactured & shipped? Very disappointing!

PopuMusic is still very buggy at this time, and is not terribly friendly to English speaking users despite being marketed to an English speaking audience. The instruments themselves are beautiful but not much use if you can’t use the training software. Hope to see improvements in the near future that will justify the expensive guitar/ukulele purchases.

Is not. It’s buggy and a bit laggy, and it doesn’t pick up the ukulele well. It seems cheap. Also, with the leaderboard next to songs, it’s not a good idea. It adds a competitive edge to players, and some newfound musicians might feel overwhelmed or discouraged because they “don’t feel good enough to get on the leaderboard”

I waited four months after the promised arrival time for the Populele 2 pro, and it's a neat uke, but the lessons aren't especially helpful and the song selection isn't good (maybe if you're into Chinese artists?) I can't access the store to see if there are more songs (the screen flashes and goes blank). If I paid full price for any of this I'd be super angry.

There NEEDS to be an option to turn off or turn down the background music when performing songs, it makes incredibly hard to hear the part i’m playing, and personally i’d like to hear what the song would sound like if i were playing it by myself on another piano.

Piano is great. I’d like to buy the left piano keys extension, but PopuMusic is quite buggy. Some lessons freeze. The chords pad sounds great outside PopuMusic . Inside PopuMusic , the keys sounds like randomly slamming on some synth keys.

Customer service returned me initial email asking questions about my phone. I haven’t heard from them in about a week

I’ll be returning the $400 piano sadly because PopuMusic is not working, making the piano useless.

I tried to perform level 1-1 for Piano and quit after being frustrated with several factors. Even in the tutorial, the keys did not light up according to the correct color or timing. In 1-1, it feels the notes need to be played off beat with the music and you have to press until it feels like you are breaking the board for the key to register. Maybe a defective piano? Cool concept but not ready for users.

I really want to try this from my computer but PopuMusic launches, plays the intro music notes, then crashes. I've installed several updates to PopuMusic hoping the problem will be resolved but it hasn't in over 6 mo. Please fix it. (I have tried uninstalling PopuMusic and re-installing it to no avail)

This make PopuMusic completely uselsss while on a road trip , airplane or camping.
PopuMusic have 2 part simply music composition a keyboard color configuration (this should not need internet) as if the company disappear the piano turn into a brick.

The other part is some playing tutorial that we should be able to download ahead of time and use offline like in all other piano learning apps

hadn't uses PopuMusic in a while. opened it up and immediately remembered why.

forcing landscape mode is such garbage design. also forced me to reset my password. entered strong password. got a "password reset successful" message. tried to log in, PopuMusic told me my password is too long. maximum length is 12 characters. WHAT?!?

fine. i changed it to a less secure password. but now PopuMusic won't stay logged in. session constantly times out (why do i need an account to use the basic features anyway???).

forcing landscape mode makes it a HUGE PAIN to log in EVERY TIME. typing on the keyboard like that is unnatural and takes longer. it obscures pretty much the entire screen.

all these complaints and I haven't even gotten into the actual app yet!!! not worth it. deleting this garbage. I'll just use my uke the analog way.

So Im gonna go straight to the point. It says “ Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred.” when I click the facebook sign in.

Received the Populele 2 as a gift and have misplaced my code. How can I set up an account on this app?

I really want to give PopuMusic a 5 star for its potential but there are so many hurdles.

Basically I can’t continue on the lessons because it’s stuck

When I got this I was extremely happy to learn the piano and I like it but after I finish the basic skills then when I went to the finger skills the 2 “level” i went to the practice and it was just a blue area with nothing to do when I tried to leave none of the buttons worked so I had to refresh PopuMusic and I’m scared that I have to reinstall PopuMusic losing all my progress so what should I do?

Update-App updates have fixed the problem I was having. Everything works as it should and the kid loves it. 😃

So after months of set backs I finally received my popupiano. Hardware is great, but PopuMusic? I don’t exactly know what is the deal, but there is no sound. Zero sound at all, nothing in the intro video or the videos. Absolutely nothing. Sound comes through my iPad fine in garage band while using the piano, but nothing with PopuMusic . PopuMusic works through my air pods fine. Here’s the problem though. I bought this for my two year old and he is not going to keep air pods in. So unless there is a way to make it play sound through the iPad speakers this piano is completely useless for him. So is this intentional?
